Did not honor my appointment.Had an appointment at 4 pm arrived 10 minutes early and went to the clearly marked "Vaccine Check In" line and was ignored, when I told an employee I was there to check in she said I had to go to the back of a 30 person line for "Pharmacy Pick Up and Drop Off" and that they didn't do appointments, covered her name tag and walked off.

If I could give 0 stars I would, Dropped off prescription, waited hours then to call to find the status of prescription, found out insurance issue. They never bothered to call me to tell me this so it's just now being filled. What if someone desperately needed this medicine and assumed it was being worked on. I was told when I dropped it off at 11:40 it would be late afternoon, it's now 6:30 and I had to be the one to chase them down.

I would leave ZERO stars! For way over a year....NOTHING but problems...they say they dont have the prescription...was never sent...4 days in a row i called the Doctor and they called it in...finally get it after telling walgreens...when you call for a prescription...you get a CALL CENTER!!!! SO no communication between the actual store and call center. No matter what there is a wait of over 15 minutes. I told my fiance im DONE TRYING to pick up his prescriptions here...i have no issues at CVS or Harris Teeter! Absolutely unacceptable! Every single month for over 12 months!

Service at pharmacy is horrible. Always some excuse .. registers acting up, behind on filling scripts, out of that medication, lost scripts. Need to terminate the whole inadequate dept. Every time..wait in a line 30 minutes to be told one of the above excuses. Walgreens...get your act together.

If I could do 0 it would be a 0 pharmacy here. I've sat here 30 mins at the register. They lost meds and had to refill the whole thing again. Absolutely ridiculous. Rx called in at 8am and it's after 6pm and it wasn't ready. Last time our family will come here we are switching

The manager: a Caucasian woman, plus size wearing glasses, unbothered, insincere, uncaring and unpleasant! Probably will happily shop at another Walgreens. Manners & pleasantries are a thing of the past at this Walgreens!

I have a prescription waiting to be picked up. I got a call saying it was delayed due to insurance so I called and the man I spoke to said it would be ready for me to pick up that night. I go the next day, and it is still not ready and the lady said there was a delay. I am a little irritated, but I say okay and she said it would be ready by tonight. I go 3 hours later to pick it up. They haven’t started it and different lady tells me there is a delay on it and it will be ready later. That is now 3 times i have either called and been up there to fix the issue and pick up my order and was told it would be ready. This is ridiculous. If i go tomorrow and it is not ready I will be switching pharmacy’s and will be contacting corporate and will definitely be causing a scene.

I was waiting in line as well as four others at the pharmacist counter while the manager came to assist with a customer misunderstanding. The manager and employee handled the situation very professionally. It takes patience to deal with some people and situations. Let's show them appreciation as we are in the days that not many want to do jobs that are demanding and fast paced. Let's be patient and treat them the way we would want to be treated if we were trying to serve others at the best of our ability!Thanks to all that provide a much needed service !!!

Always have excuses and bullcrap reasons they can't fill my insurance wouldn't cover it so I asked to pay out of pocket they said I couldn't do that since when can't you pay for your meds if you want for an inhaler if I could get the inhaler I could breath now waking my mom up at 11:30 so I can go to er to use the nebulizer. They don't understand what they put patients through after we been at the Dr all day I'm a only parent of 3 kids cut me a break. Everyone that works in that pharmacy should be fired or educated on the actual rules I could sue them multiple times under the ADA. I went back the next day and the young lady at the window in the 28th around 11:45 was great she got my inhaler was professional and super nice I was shocked that someone had her attitude that worked In there she was absolutely great. She should be the one in charge back there because if it wasn't for her doing everything she could I would not have gotten an inhaler. God bless that young woman.

This place was once awesome. I keep waiting for it to become awesome again. I DREAD having to pick up prescriptions here. The wait is extra long whether you’re in the drive-through or go inside. Six months ago they gave me the wrong milligram of a medication and two months ago they gave me 30 pills when it was supposed to have been 60. Both times I had to drive back and get them to fix their mistakes. I hate leaving negative reviews but do you know what I hate more? Walgreens 😡

This used to be a great pharmacy but customer service has been thrown out entirely. It is taking 48 hours to proces the simplest of prescriptions. Pharmacists refuse to take questions. I fid action that is provided is remarkably incorrect without excuse. Employees are so overworked and stressed that their attitude has turned rude at best and commonly downright nasty. Regularly out of stock on common prescriptions and refuse to make even the smallest effort to find it at another store. This store is in desperate need of new management

Always have to wait at least an hour in the drive thru line no matter what time I arrive. If you call expect to be on hold for an hour+ during weekdays and even longer on weekends just for them to hang up on you. They never have prescriptions ready when they say they will be ready by, actually i haven't had a prescription ready that same day in a couple years. Anytime I have an important medication to get, I am never able to get it in time. Not to mention when the order is finally ready, they fail to bill all insurances on file even after being reminded. I must insist every time for them to check with both of my insurances because they only file with one and try to charge me.

This pharmacy just doesn’t care about its customers. All they do is complain that there are 1300 prescriptions ahead of you. My dr called in my prescription at 11am it is now 8pm and it still isn’t ready. When I finally got through after 20minutes the lady just said they were short staffed and busy. Then she proceeded to hang up on me. Very disappointing!! Update - went into the store asked for a manager and got my prescriptions in 5 minutes. Shouldn’t have to do that. I will be taking my business back to a local pharmacy.

The people in pharmacy are slow and do not fill prescriptions in a timely manner. I had Covid and was waiting in line for an hour. I had waited almost four hours before going to the pharmacy. It was two prescriptions that were prepackaged and just needed labels. I get up there and it isn't ready. They have the never to tell me that I need to pull around. I had already waited four hours and an hour in line. I refused. I said slap the labels on them and give me the prescriptions. They had the nerve to tell me to calm down. Now I can never get them to answer calls. At 10 pm, I waited over 30 minutes then they hung up on me. I call back to speak to someone up front then I was told no one was in the store but they can't answer the phone. I waited another 10 minutes. I hang up and call from my home phone and was on hold again. This is most unprofessional.

Everyone is nice however it is always the slowest process for something through the pharmacy even when on express pickup. Takes around 30 mins to 1 hour min to pickup your prescription waiting in the line. Last time was 1 hour and 15 now it seems it's gonna be around that this time. Even tried the drive-thru this time and there are only 4 cars ahead of me counting both lanes together. Honestly, I never had this problem at any of the Walgreens in Burlington.. only here in Thomasville sadly. Would either recommend hiring more staff or making another location.. just my thoughts as this is a constant thing and even just about every review is talking about this same issue.

Walgreens has a newly renovated pharmacy. It makes it seem less crowded. Generally, the staff is friendly and efficient. The pharmacists are good about answering questions.

The Walgreens on Randolph St in Thomasville is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They never have RX ready in a timely manner can't get them done in a 24 hr period, my husband had to have a pre op med for surgery it was out of stock told him they would have it ready early the next am so he could take before his appt. Go to pick it up hour before surgery and they didn't have it, no call to offer to get it at a different store. I have never seen any pharmacy so unprofessional. You wait 30 min to speak with someone for them to pick up and then they cut you off and call back to wait another 30 min to get an answer. 1 hour wait everytime you go to pick up. I literally dread when I have to go try get RX. IM TAKING MY RX SOMEWHERE ELSE. PATHETIC PLACE!!!

Worst pharmacy on the planet. Prescriptions never ready on time, extreme wait times at all times, severally understaffed, staff has no idea how to file insurance properly (have to get the pharmacist to correct it every time). Walgreens corporate needs to step in and fix this location

Slowest most difficult pharmacy EVER. Staff is kind and polite, store staff is wonderful. I just don't understand what takes them 5+ hours to fill ONE prescription! Corporate needs to really do something here. If it wasn't for them being 24 hours, I'd take my business elsewhere.

I recently moved here. I've been to this particular Walgreen's 3 times. Every single time there's a huge line in the drive through, and coming inside is no better. I'm presently standing in line Again, after being told to come back in 4 hours because my prescription wasn't ready. Also, 33% of the time, they don't even know what I'm there to pick up. Not blaming the people who work there, but they CLEARLY need better organization.*UPDATE*Second trip here today. After they said come back in 4 hours, and standing in line for 30 minutes Again...I was just told they need another hour.Is there a zero stars option on here?

Takes over 24hrs to fill prescriptions, have attitudes when you try to get a solid answer of when the medication will be ready and their best answer is "it will be filled today" wow. This place has really gone downhill and I have already found a new pharmacy to switch to.

When I pulled into the drive through there were 3 cars in front of me 50 minutes later there’s 2 cars still ahead of me so in almost an hour they served one customer. This is the worst pharmacy on planet earth. They used to be good they are garbage now. Do yourself a favor and find another pharmacy I know I’m going to.

Every single time I call in my prescription. I have to wait over 1 hour on hold just to get hung up on. Just like today I called two different times to be hung up on twice after waiting over 50 minutes my second time. I will say I'm not very happy.

This walgreens creates so much more work for themselves. I called to update my insurance the person who answered after I sat on hold for 25 mins. said they couldn't take my insurance over the phone. So I will have to drive up there give it them in person, for them to tell me the rx will need prior authorization to come back again the next day. When they could have simply did their job the first time when I called and saved everyone from chasing there tail. It really is unexcusable to make anyone have to go through so many obstacles to get one of their medications. I updated my insurance online but they said it could take up to 24 hrs. to show up. No wonder there is a line stretched around the building and staff looks like they are about to fall out. Taking shortcuts and inconveniencing customers is biting them in the rear big time and it's their own fault.

Unfortunately I have experienced nothing but issues from this pharmacy including, most recently when they were out of stock on a needed medication, however they assured my husband and me that it would be in today when we requested to have it moved to a pharmacy that stocked it. However upon following up, I learned that they failed to not only get the medication in but never thought it necessary to inform me. So I again requested it moved only to be met with a nonchalant offer to call around. Not once was there so much as an apology offered.They clearly do not care what so ever about the people they serve.

I dropped off 3 prescriptions the night before. Came back after lunch the next day. They had LOST my medicine. Then had an attitude. The pharmacy manager is a real piece of work. How are you a 24 hour pharmacy but work like a part time ran fast food restaurant. I took my business to Thomasville Family Pharmacy!!! No hassle. No loooonnng drive-thru or inside line. Most of all. Thomasville Family Pharmacy Staff is very polite. Something Walgreens staff should take notes on.

I'm conflicted. I met a pharmacy technician that cares about customers. She checked my meds costs 1 medication I've been paying a co pay of $100 and another $60 when she looked up the manufacturer coupons I paid $10 for each. She said Walgreen's will send a refund. Yeah right! I may never see that money but for her to look into it when none of the others have was a wonderful experience. Thank you Candice
