Freindly staff but looks so dumpy inside. Just lacks appeal. Also got a couple expired shelf items. I wasn't surprised that is how this place looks. I mean it just looks like i will get expired or very close to expired items here. Seroius renovations are needed here and item rotation needs attention. Keep the friendly staff just give them a nicer environment to work in.

I was told they took fried chicken orders until 8pm. I called to place an order at 6:10, and apparently they had turned their fryers off already. Doesn’t make any sense.

My wife and I went there to get bacon ends and pieces last night, which we could not acquire in Winston Salem. They were very courteous when we called and went and looked and told us that it was there. We went there and sure enough we got 10 packs.

Pricy, reminds me of Harris teeter or Lowes food. Had bulk options for nuts and a fee other things which is amazing and hard to find!

Thanks for ruining thanksgiving for my family. I realize that the store was trying to close, but there was still a line at one of the registers when I walked in. I needed one thing and asked if they would take one more person in line and the older guy that told me they were closed laughed in my face and said no. My family will not be back to this store ever. I could have gotten what I needed before the line was gone and they wouldn’t have had to be there any longer than they were. Piss pore service from the manager.

I've had many good experiences at Ingles in Thomasville, NC however there is a older guy that works in the deli that is rude. Here it is 9:43AM on a Sunday I attempted to call in a order in advance for 16 pieces of chicken at 1:30pm today and he claimed he can't have any ready until 3pm. It's a Sunday and it's chicken! You should be prepared to have many pieces ready on a Sunday. Ive called on one of the busiest days such as Father's day and the lady that assisted me didn't hesitate. I know others that have complained about this same man!

Friendly staff and helpful. The store is extremely clean. The aisles are wide. Ingles have a great variety of goods. Great produce selection. The fried chicken from the deli is fantastic.Great prices on their meats. A great local neighborhood grocery store. A definite go to place. I have returned many many times.

I went to the hot bar to get bake chicken. A tall young woman sneered at me and had a very bad attitude. When she got my baked chicken, she pulled it so hard with aggression until my chicken tore. I talked to the manager who was supposed to talk to her. This happened over a month ago.Fast forward until today (3-29-2023) My daughter went to get me some baked chicken at Ingles. My daughter called me to see what pieces I wanted. As we We're on the phone my daughter said what is her problem and why is she looking at me like that. My daughter said when she was talking to the Caucasian person she was smiling, but when she started to taking my order her whole demeanor changed. My daughter is African-American. I could tell my daughter was very offended. My daughter called and spoke to a woman manager who did seemed concerned and was supposedly been talking to her.How many times will Ingles let this happen before they take disciplinary, such as warnings or whatever. This is so unfair and to hear the upsetness in my daughter's voice as a mother and how she sounded when she got offended hurts.If a person has a attitude and demeanor like this they should NEVER work in customer service or around people.The saddest thing is she's probably gonna continue working there and treating other people like this. It seems like management cares more about keeping an employee than having a loyal faithful customer. We want return there.The review I just gave is not to keep others from going to Ingles, but for people who do go there and get food from the bakery to be aware.

I went to this Ingles specifically to buy fresh ground almond butter. I noticed a sign above the machine that had the sale price as $5.99/lb. I filled two containers and headed to check-out. My Ingles card was scanned and the price of the almond butter did not correspond to the sale price. I questioned the sales clerk twice about the price. I told her the sign read $5.99/lb and she told me that I must have looked at the wrong price (the price of a different item). So we walked all the way back to look at the sale sign and I was correct. So we went back to the register. She called for customer service to come to the register. A very unfriendly-looking man (the manager) came to the register. He never acknowledged/said a word to me and was quite rude to the employee. He then called someone from produce to the register. The manager then instructed that employee to change the price in the system. So the employee took the pricing gun and headed back to the produce section. All the while, I'm standing there waiting to pay the correct price for the almond butter. Finally, the sales clerk just rang up my items for $12 instead of making me wait any longer.Not a good experience...makes me hesitant to go back to this Ingles.

I called the store to find out if they had fresh Fried Chicken and was told yes. The person on the phone said they stop frying chicken at 8:00 at night. We got to the store at 5:30 and they were out of fried chicken and said they would not be frying anymore. It was just a wasted trip.

First time shopper, new to the area. Nice, clean store with a great selection, including many gluten free options. Seemed like we got a lot of groceries for the money which has not been the case at all recently in most stores. The staff was friendly, as well.

I got an item that was on sale wben i go to check out it didnt ring up the sale price so i told the lady it was on sale she sent someone back there to look she came back said it wasnt on sale i seen the sale price. I truly enjoyed going into Ingles Market because I'm from the Sanford area and I was in Thomasville. I absolutely love their individually wrapped chicken thighs and breasts. The young lady at the cash register was very friendly and helpful. I only wish we had one of these stores in Sanford. My very good friend Jeff Christianson introduced me to the store.

We absolutely love shopping at Ingles! Even tho prices may be a smidgen higher than most grocery stores- u can go early in the mornings & get super duper deals. Kraft Shredded Chz $1.60, milk 1.41 a gal, meats on killer steals but mainly the hubby loves their cupcakes & ice cream & Mos desserts too! Always fully stocked (more than others tbh)!!!!

I love Ingles. Its a super beautiful basic store that has a nostalgic feel, with a lot of fresh produce, snacks, candies, meats, exotic cheeses, deli meats, bakery items, and whatever you may need for groceries. I kinda wish they had lamb, though. They also have self care products, pet food and some toys, plasticwares and paper goods like plates and bowls, home cleaning products, firewood and charcoal, cards for special days, baby food and essentials, vitamins and hygiene items, alcoholic beverages, whatever you want. They also have an exceptional vegan selection in the frozen aisle. Sadly it’s only 1 freezer space full of the same basic things and not more spaces with a variety of products like Walmart, Food Lion, or Publix. I think they should expand that a bit. They do have some good vegan deli meats in the produce section though, and beside the meat section they have some good impossible ground, burgers, sausages and nuggets. But they do have a good plant milk section in the dairy aisle, like oat milk, soy milk, almond milk, flax milk, and other plant based products like creamers, butter, yogurt, and other things. Its a super comforting store with a bunch of stuff in its aisles. I totally recommend it.

I'm thinking twice before I ever shop in this store again. The Cashier didn't know how to say thank you after she checked out my groceries & the Manager acted as if he were in a bad mood. You really need to learn Customer Service skills. You're running people off. I liked this store because I found things I couldn't at other stores. Unreal

I really liked this store. In Virginia we have food lion and Kroger but they do not look like an Ingles. It was big, clean and offered lots of nice items.

Price's can be higher, but the buggies (shopping carts for you northerners) are always operating correctly with plenty of room. Store is not over crowded like food lion or Walmart. Everyone I know brags about their produce. So definitely check them out. Been going here since I was a child

The bakery makes some good stuff always got birthday Cakes here but the prices here are so expensive even food lion is a little bit cheaper than this place
