I went in for a rat and a heat lamp today and was treated like a regular customer right out of the gate. There's a variety of everything you can think of and he asked questions to find out what I really needed because this is my first snake. He pointed me to a ceramic heat emitter instead of a bulb because they're apparently more cost efficient and last ten times longer. Even what wattage I needed for my specific size enclosure. Within an hour the temperature raised to level and the humidity problem was solved. Definitely coming back. And highly recommend.

I bought a chameleon 1 years ago from Charmin's. I love it! It was healthy and a juvenile. They were fair in pricing and their store is clean and customer service is good. Today my chameleon is doing great! They take good care of the animals and reptiles they sell.

Locally owned an operated. Awesome customer service and prices. I see many bad reviews for the condition of reptiles and your are forgetting that the distributors have these animals first and he does everything in his power to nurse them back to health. If he was pet smart he would throw them in the dumpster and be done. He doesn’t, he tries everything he can to give the animals happy and healthy homes after they have been rehabilitated. Kudos to you. The only pet store I go to!

My son recently purchased his first baby bearded dragon. Our first time owning any type of reptile. Although we were already a little knowledgeable from my parents owning several throughout the years, Chris provided us with a lot of great info and even gave my son his first half dozen of crickets for free! 10/10 we will definitely be going back. So glad my mom told us about Charmin's!!

Went in there yesterday to get mice for my snake and decided to take a look at the reptiles and their reptiles were in terrible shape. Very shriveled and dehydrated looking. I am only a snake owner and do not know much about other reptiles but I do know for a fact they were not supposed to look like that. Also their husbandry could be a lot better as well. I felt so bad for them, I wish I had the money to go buy them..

The guy who runs the place is really nice. All I've bought here is crickets for my baby bearded dragon but I can't beat the price or the closeness of the shop. Since I have to get them once a week. The crickets are always of good quality.

I stop by Charmin's about once a week just to pick up some worms or crickets for my frog. But every time I'm there I find myself looking all throughout their store. There's something for everyone and it will save you a trip to the next town over. On top of that you won't find many business owners more polite and helpful than Charmin himself!

I purchased my pet from another pet store, and they were not very helpful in explaining their care to me. I went to Charmin's and he was beyond helpful. I go every week to purchase crickets and worms for my geckos. They are happy and healthy, much more so than when I was buying from the other pet store.

Ok seriously, forget big box stores. Ok wow cool they have big buying power and carry all the expensive common supplies. But it’s funny how they don’t carry needs for EVERYONE. like feeder rodents. Let me guess, too cruel? This place has a cool setup, nice guy running it, and it’s your old school mom and mom type place. I can’t stand corporate stores. They’re prices are absurd and they only carry the most popular pets. This place completely stole my business from petco and PetSmart. If you’re a fish or reptile enthusiast COME HERE and try it.

Best pet store all around. Super friendly owners. This is my go to pet store, we won't go anywhere else for our pet needs. If they don't have something in stock he will do his best to get it in, depending on what it is. They sale reptiles, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats & all the set up, bedding & feed that go along keep an animal. This pet store is a must to go to for all your pet needs. They are located on Randolph st in Thomasville, NC.

I found this to be a very pleasant place. The owner even opened the store on his day off so I could get some food for my bearded dragon. You won't find that level of customer service at a big box store.
