The absolute best vet that I have ever had. Genuinely cares about your animals. Very thorough on explanations of what's going on with your animal and how he is going to treat it. I would 100% recommend them for all your pet care. All the staff is very friendly and caring. Quite different than going to a veterinarian in Wilmington.

I have been coming to Dr. Blanton for years and he is always very polite and respectful of our needs. I went in a year ago to have my dog euthanized because she was really old and sick. He and his staff where very reverent with the process and it was very respectful. I definitely recommend him for your pet needs.

Dr. Blanton and his staff are angels. Unlike most vets, who are most concerned with the $total at the bottom of the bill, their number one goal is a healthy happy animal. The team is patient and they take time to listen. That is, to say the least, a rarity for any doctor/vet. Their prices are more than fair, they do not take advantage of the owner’s wallet or feelings. I came out of their office so relieved I could’ve cried. For the first time in a long time my pet had relief. I’m so grateful for them. I will always bring my animals to this office. I cannot thank them enough. For those on the fence, THIS is the best vet you will find. Thanks again

We’ve always come here for our pets and they are always in excellent care by the staff here and Dr. Blanton. Their med prices are very affordable and we don’t usually have trouble getting a quick appointment when needed. We have no plans to change vets!

Dr. Blanton and Belinda and all the staff at Wallace Animal Hospital are just the best. They are just so good with your pet babies and when it comes to me, I have a big baby when it's time to go to the office. She just gets so scared, but when we get in there they help calming her down and she gets her yearly done. 😆 And the office is always so clean and smells good. I recommend Wallace Animal Hospital.

Despicable human verman went in with a stray I was willing to pay to get seen a baby kitten who couldn't open her eyes and not only did they the office staff refuse to help they also wouldn't give me an alternate route. I'm not from the area and was looking for help to help this baby. Call me what you want but if you have no sympathy for a helpless kitten then you probably shouldn't be working at a vet. Haven't had problems with them. Friendly staff that remember you. Charge account not available, but you can pay over the phone and add money to your account for future appointments. Dr. Blanton gives good, helpful information. I'm a dog breeder and he helps our pets have a good healthy life.

They're very caring and concerned about the animals. Everybody is so kind and thoughtful. I had to have my baby put down and they understood what I was going through and was very kind. We need more veterinary hospitals like this one. I have recommend them to more people because of the way they cared for my fur baby. I gave them 5 star ratings because they deserved every one of them and more. God bless their hearts for being such wonderful people.

Duane and his staff are great! They take care of our yorky and golden doodle puppy. We had bad experiences at two other vets closer and happily drive a lot further to go to Wallace Animal Hospital. Highly recommend!

Awesome vet & awesome staff. Super friendly, professional, & take time with you, especially when explaining difficult topics of concern with your beloved furbaby. I couldn't imagine going any place else & so thankful they have their office in my town, close to my home. The only downside is, for true pet emergency after their hours, we have to travel 45 min - 1 hr away from our home to receive emergency care because my beloved vet's office doesn't provide after hours care. The emergency vet is awesome but just so far away! I appreciate all this office does for me & highly recommend the staff there @ Wallace Vet clinic @♡♡♡

Dr. Blanton is DISGUSTING. Do not take ANY animal to this monster. Arrogant, patronizing, condescending, unempathetic disgrace. If you want to get treated like an animal yourself then this is the place to go. It's SAD that people like him exist.

I showed up there Monday with no appointment for my dog and it was the first time we'd ever been there, we have three dogs a cat and a bowl I think we'll be switching veterinarians and going to Wallace animal hospital from now on. To hell with healing hands in Burgaw, we've dealt with them for almost 20 years and I've had just about enough of her pompous attitude

I took my dog here because I heard great things about this vet. My lab had a horrible ear infection and they got him in right away. I know this was painful for him and my dog already had issues from the home prior that he came from so they had to sedate him to treat which I was hoping because even trying to clean his ears at home was a nightmare. The Dr. and staff were very nice and the Dr. explained everything and medication treatment. Where I became extremely upset is when I brought him back for his 1 week check and another ear treatment. My husband took him outside because he became increasingly nervous (while we were waiting to be called back) the receptionist called me up to her desk to make his next appointment and as I'm trying to understand what that appointment would be for- 3 assistants went into the parking lot and tried to put ear drops into his ears. When I heard my dog I went out the door and asked why were they trying to do this in the parking lot? They all remembered the week before when they had to sedate him and here they were muzzling and holding him down in the parking lot without the Dr. anywhere. I disagreed with this and the office manager came out to assist with holding him down. He came out of his harness with my husband holding him, out the muzzle and nipped one of the assistants. I was so upset because I felt like this could have been avoided. They got him into the exam room finally with the Dr. and the Dr. and I got the medication into his ear without incident. I was informed that because my dog bit the assistant he had to be quarantined for 10 days and I became extremely upset. First of all, the whole thing could have been avoided. Nervous dog being held down in the parking lot by 4 women? He used the bathroom all over himself. He did not aggressively try and attack anyone. She was nipped when she tried to put the muzzle back on. The Vet told me that my dog was the dangerous type because there is no warning before they bite. Ahhh I don't think so.... I have 3 kids and my dog NEVER acted aggressively before or since. I was told that I could be liable for the nip of the assistant. Nooooo, I dont think so on that one either. I'm not saying this vet is not a good vet. I just had a horrible experience and not happy with the way it was handled. I just thought I was going to a follow up appointment and turned out my dog was traumatized, accidentally nip someone in a parking lot when he was being held down and then punished for 10 days.... He still will not let me clean his ears to this day.

Receptionist ignored me and when she did acknowledge me she had an attitude and could careless if she helped me or not plus they didn't even have what I needed. She told me my dog would have to see the vet to get the medication which is not true. I don't recommend anyone going there with their animals.

I had a great experience with the services. They treated my Dad's dog and my dog for parvo. Both recovered quickly and the charges were surprisingly affordable.
