I shopped here a few weeks back and found out that I wasted my money. I was comparing dewormers. I asked the cashier to read the the difference and she suggested that the lower priced one was the best. The prices were 18.99 vs 23.99. Both items were well within my budget. However, I purchased what I was advised to purchase just to find out it only treated 2 out of the 4 common worms in a puppy. The higher priced one treated all 4 worms . I was really upset because I had to purchase an additional dewormer this was out of my budget. I now have a 20$ dewormer I can't use. I'm only treating one puppy not 8 or ten. I can't find my receipt and I don't know if they would even give my money back. I used my debit card and the transaction had been paid out and cleared through my account by the next day. I relied on the cashier to accurately read the items. As I have mentioned it was not worth my money especially since I had to purchase another dewormer. I believe she suggested this item because it was on sale. This is not the way to retain customers. I want my monies worth and to properly treat my puppy. Once I called Tsc where I lived they said I needed my receipt and that the purchase was not from that store they couldnt help me. I feel as if my disability and color played a role in my inaccurate services and help. Moral of the story..I'm going back to Banfield or Petco and order my needed items through Chewy. This was a lesson learned. I learned that day. Not to many people can just throw or give money away and I'm one of them. My budget is down to each dollar and every penny I spend. I would frequent Tsc when I had two cats and two dogs over 7 years ago and would always vouchers for their services. I just can't do that anymore.

Love the store....here comes the but....so extremely understaffed that I dread going there. Can't find help if you're looking for something. Checkout lines...long and painful. Best thing to do is try to visit non peak hours. Associates that work there do their best.

Went into the store needing help. Asked a couple of guys where a product was (they wasn't busy) and they wouldn't help at all. Eventually a lady asked me if I needed help. Sometimes customers DO need help. And, the women shouldn't have to do it all.

All Tractor Supply stores I had shopped at are generally good (i.e. greetings, polite, helpful, etc). I never had a bad experience with the stores before with customer service. I went to the Taylorsville store today as the one I normally shop at did not had the feed I want. They were short staffed it seemed, with only 1 manager and two associates in the store. But they delivered the same quality of customer service that I had always experienced with the other TSC stores. That is the reason for this 5 star review. I wanted 4 more bags of feed that was in the back. They took care of the customers before me, and then they took care of me. That was a good experience worth noting.

I was accused of stealing and searched by local police dept they assumed my friend with Huntington disease was high on drugs because of her body reactions due to her muscle deteriorating disease who spent $200 plus on a much needed pair of boots dog food and pet supplies .We have been a loyal custom for years and will not spend any more of my hard working earning at this store ever again this is a heart breaking day for me that was my favorite store In Taylorsville NC looks like I'll go to northern tool to purchase a generator for my service truck since employees of this store are judgemental and quick to reply on and assumption cause of her body reactions and my clothes stained from work I do not recommend anyone shopping at this location until the employees are trained how to property aid a customer and not be rude

Recently had a friend pick up a lawnmower, and had an unfortunate traffic accident involving the seat from the unit. When they called in and spoke with the manager. He was very rude multiple times during the incident, through multiple calls. "In my 6 years I've never heard of this" "What do you expect me to do, replace it"... If they would have done their due diligence and inspected the unit before final sale, this wouldn't have been a problem. Apparently, certain quality control protocols are being ignored.

Stopped in to purchase a couple frisbees for my puppy. He loves the Kong frisbees and another type that floats so he can play fetch in the water. We bought one of each. Girls working the checkout loved it when he carried his own frisbee up to the counter tail just wagging like crazy. One happy canine customer and me too of course.

Store manager plays favoritism, other staff are more willing to help. When he's not there they are more helpful. There are times I will drive to other towns, just to so not to deal with it. All other locations we have no problems.

I called ahead to make sure they had the dog food I needed. The girl was very nice, made sure they had it, and put my name on it so it would be there when I arrived. She even loaded it in my car for me, which I appreciated because I could wrestle it in but it's difficult. They had rose bushes at the front door and bulbs near the register. Pure impulse buy because flowers are my weakness next to my puppies. I wish I had gotten her name because a thank you doesn't seem enough for all she did for me today.

I ordered a pull behind spray on line and had it shipped to the Taylorsville store. When assembling it I noticed the bearings were bad in the wheels. The person at the Taylorsville store went out of her way to help me and came up with a solution to the problem. I think they're great.

When items are sold out it takes forever to be replaced all merchandise sitting back in stock room alot of workers but very lazy nobody wants to work and put items back on shelves. I live in taylorsville but have to drive to statesville or lenoir to get things I need and the management in taylorsville sucks always this woman always coughing in your face employees never wear masks coronavirus is spread everywhere in this taylorsville store

always like going to tractor supply,their staff is helpful and friendly . along with other things i get my work boots there because the quality is so much better than anywhere else so they are comfortable and last longer. TS rocks!

Was looking for a specific gun safe that was on sale at TSC. None of the stores local to me had it in stock. I called the Taylorsville store and spoke with Lori. She checked the system and saw they had it in stock, but then also went visually verified they had one on hand before I came all the way up there. I asked her if she could put a hold on it, but she said they didnt do that. However she explained how to purchase it online from their store so it would be reserved, and I did so.Next day I went to pick it up. Worked with Holly. Transaction was extremely smooth. Was in and out with my brand new gun safe with exactly zero problems in like 20 minutes. Both of these ladies were extremely helpful. I dont live local to them, but I'd gladly frequent this store if I did.
