Clean, new and nice. Shelves are stocked well you can get down the Isles without a problem. Usually they're pretty quick I getting you in and out. The employees are very helpful and polite.

I went to Dollar General of Sugar Loaf in Alexander County. I was expecting it to be like most of the others where I have been.. I asked the cashier where the card aisle was. Instead of telling me, she took me to the cards. I thought this was extremely nice. Also, this particular store was not like the others. It was clean, well-organized, and had hardly any items in the aisles which blocked one's way. I did not feel as if I was in an obstacle course in this store. This Dollar General is where I will be doing my shopping from this day forward. At least 2 other Dollar General stores in the county could use this one as a model. I had a good shopping experience here, and I appreciate it. I returned to this same store today(1/11/19). The store was very clean and stocked well.Again, there were no items to be stocked cluttering the aisles. I told the cashier how much I enjoyed shopping in this store and I complimented the management. As far as I am concerned, this is the best Dollar General in the county. The others can't hold a candle to the Sugar Loaf store.

Well laid out store. Always clean. Would prefer workers stop smoking right in front of the door so that I and other patrons don't have to walk through it.

I think Dollar General is underrated. I needed to buy new cleaning supplies for a new house and I got them for a very good price. I'll go back.
