This Dollar General is the closest to my home so I tend to frequent this particular location the most. I absolutely LOVE the employees whom always have big smiles 😁 on their faces aimed are eager to help you at any given time. You don't have to go searching for help, like I trained to breathe to do ALOT at other Dollar General locations. And the employees at this store stay on top of keeping their store clean, un-cluttered, and organized, so I'm always able to move around the store easily and freed of any tight fitting obstacles.

Visited this store yesterday. I found what I needed with no problem. However, the cashier was less than friendly. There were 2 customers waiting to check out and it took her awhile to come out from the office. She said nothing to either of us and acted like we were bothering her. Slammed my items in a bag and handed it to me. Did the same to the other customer. Next time I need something think I will go down the street to Family Dollar.

I can honestly say anytime I have walked in the store I have been greeted with a friendly face, a smile, and a very warm welcome. I now work there and they are all very accommodating and willing to help you learn how to do the job. Anthony the manager, Jenny, Tina Tiffany, Melissa, Logan, and Kayla. Hope I have not left anyone out

Well what can I say about Dollar general that most folks don't already know. It's a great place to go if you're in a hurry. They carry a brand of popsicle, it's cherry and pineapple. For some reason I just love them. And this is where I get my dog food. It's a fast in and out. Nice clean store. Clean restrooms. Nice staff. I recommend it.

Always good stuff and good prices. I usually buy my household supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, mops,brooms, cleaning supplies here,but I always find other items I like,anything from home decor to makeup, just a good affordable place to shop.

Today, March 30, 2019, I came to this store because it is near my home. I am having trouble each time I shop herein deciding if I am going to return. Today, I bought several heavy items--among them several 2 liter soft drinks.I am an older person and have some difficulty carrying heavy items. There were no buggies, and I had to use a basket. As I walked through the store, the items became harder to carry. I also had trouble finding an item because items had been moved to a different location. Luckily, one of the cashiers helped me find it. Prices have also dramatically increased on many items. I think I may doing my shopping at different stores in the future.(The buggies were located in the aisles of the store with unshelved items in them. The store needs to supply buggies to the customers and have separate containers to hold items that need to be shelved, or hire extra workers to stock items.)

Wouldnt rate one star to busy on phone to wait on anyone because she was trying to borrow 100 so her boyfriend didnt have to drive her car anymore do that on your own time

The one in taylorsville is convenient for basic things needed for house. Cleaning, laundry etc but always limited in selection. Very cluttered isles. You have to drive several miles to newer dollar General to really have variety and better shopping experience. Sad part is Taylorsville one is not very old

This places sucks! I worked here for a couple months they were always shorting me hours and I only made $9 an hour to begin with anyone looking for a job stay away!
