I don't visit this store often. When I do, they usually have exactly what I'm looking for in every department except the fresh produce and meat. The "fresh fruits and vegetables" aren't so fresh and haven't been for a long time, and the texture of the meats are strange. But everything else from electronics, books, home decor, cleaning supplies, clothing, toys etc is a one-stop shop.

I've been going here for quite awhile now and have used all avenues of purchasing from them via web purchase, pick up order and check out in store.Produce, Somethings happened this past year, its never been this bad before but every time I've gone in for grocery's, their fruits and vegetables are always in poor condition. I'm not talking about bruising or odd shapes or imperfections in the fruits or vegetables. I'm talking about actually rotting fresh produce. I do not shop their anymore for fresh produce ( go to the food lion).I had a pick up order not to long ago and they actually put slimly green onions in my pick up bag.The pick up online orders, its really a hit or miss. Sometimes it goes super smooth and no issues with waiting or missing items and on the half, you're sitting there for awhile on your order and your missing items in your bag.In the regard, just always check your bag before you leave the parking spot to make sure everything you ordered is there. Also its not really Walmarts fault persay but the specific parking spot for the to-go pick up is annoying because you have people parking in them to utilize the spot for a closer spot to the store and hog the spaces. They did kind of resolve this issue by making more but depending on the time of day, youll always have that issue.They've done some remodeling, it looks nice and you can tell their still trying to finish the remodel up while working through open hours.Customer service,its also hit or miss, I do see alot of employees playing around inside which I dont mind ( glad they can have fun, makes work more fun, i get it) however if I have a question I would like to not feel like I'm annoying them because i had a question

I don't get it no regular disinfecting between customers close early... at all. And facemask that's a joke...... Why not stay open all night and clean between customers then people would shop at more random times and not stand out front and wait to open. Not 6 ft and not all masked, this is so defeating the purpose. They leave plastic on water pallets...

The pharmacy is great! The foods prices keep going up... at first $2.00 on most every item. Some items more... less employees to help you...how ever the ones there are very helpful and caring.

Great experience with drive up, call the # and you don't have to get out of your car. And, the associates bringing your order are friendly, courteous & pleasant.

Tarboro NC Walmart has been reorganized (from what I hear, all Walmarts in this area are doing the same thing).I can’t find anything now due to the movement of items to totally illogical areas in the store.Not only that there are now only about 2-3 registers manned by a real person. The rest is self checkout.I have now started to do most of my food shopping at Food Lion. I’m not going to walk myself to exhaustion and then have to do self checkout also.So long WAL-MART!

Can only find half the stuff we need when we go shopping. People hoard stuff. I literally watched one person fill one cart with 2 products and then proceeded to say HAHA now no one can get any, there was a lady patiently waiting to purchase the same item and she said wow do you really need every single one. He said no. But I don't care I just like making peoples lives miserable, it's people like that who need to be removed from society.

The red head woman at the self checkout is pretty useless and doesn't seem to interested in helping me out! She had the typical im under 35 and i am owed everything in life attitude! Won't be coming back I'll stick to the Williamstown Walmart!

The 5 stars are for the one and only young man bringing groceries out. It was extremely hot and he was working as fast as he could. This was the longest wait I have had. Checked in at 1:08, got groceries at 1:39. I know from lots of experience, this is nowhere near normal. Please don't make this your new normal.

I don't really care for checking my receipt every time I go out the door makes me feel like I'm a thief or some s***they should have paid stickers to put on products that's in the lower basket. I tried to put everything I can in a bag I noticed they don't check you and Lester something not in a bag that's why I suggest paid stickers to be put on products that can't fit in the bag and stop checking me at the door upon exiting

Half of everything I bought is spoiled, which is my fault for not looking at the dates. But when you have yogurt that expired March 17th is a problem. It’s bout to be June. I love Walmart, but I have noticed lately everything isn’t fresh like it used to be. Y’all need to get it together. Taking my food back today smh.

I don't go unless I have to. Was looking a sound speaker for TV. 4 employees talking ( it could have been a meeting) so I waited a few minutes. She said can I help you. I told her what I wanted she said it's over there. So I walked away. Never again I go someplace or do without. Then they ask why did I not use self checkout, I bought a few groceries. I said I don't get paid enough. Never again

Nice clean facility and helpful staff!!! Several checkout lanes were available, and checkout was effortlessly! It's one of the best Walmarts I've been to recently!!! I will definitely be going back, and I highly recommend The Tarboro Walmart for a positive shopping experience!!! There are also many other amenities conveniently located nearby!!!

This Walmart has a nice selection, but having to have every receipt checked for every item is really ridiculous. If stealing is such a problem in Tarboro, please get rid of the self checkouts and hire some cashiers!! Geez!!Kudos to the ones hired to check receipts though!! I wonder if they check all customers like they do my elderly 80 year old mother’s purchases!!
