I went in today for my police patrol canine for a wash. As always, I saw Brittany and another female work along with a male I’ve never seen. Keep in mind, my dog is leashed and obedient but very protective. Never have I ever had any issues. Today, however, a male came in with a yellow lab with a “service dog” collar on. Ok, no issues. Except, he didn’t have his dog on a leash. He was asked politely by the female associate and he said no. She asked him multiple times and and he still refused and said my dog should be trained. I literally had to stand still with my partner in a down position due to this dog coming to approach my dog. As he gave multiple commands that the dog did not follow he still refused to leash his dog. The associate asked him once more to leash the dog and he stated he heard her the first time. So this review is to show the restraint the associate and Brittany had with this gentleman. Once he walked away, I was able to move forward and continue to the wash bay area. Im not sure if the guy had a true service dog considering he didn’t have any identification for the dog other than an Amazon special dog collar with attached patch. If the dog is a service dog great, but you sir need to learn to follow the rules. Again, awesome job by Brittany and the other female associate.
