The Assistant Manager here is wonderful. I didn't understand my coupons, he took his time and broke everything down to me. He did this with a positive attitude and understanding in his voice. Customer service in Tarboro is terrible lately 😕. Sir your customer service exceeded my expectations. Thank you!!! I hope you get a raise!!!!

Great deals and great customer service. The cashier was very friendly and nice. Found new products I normally had to buy elsewhere. I earned $6 buying items from 2 different categories. I love this Food Lion. My favorite grocery store.

I love shopping at Food Lion. The meats and vegetables are always fresh. And they have good sales. I always review their weekly ads before I go shopping too. It makes it easier to compare prices.

Clean store, friendly staff, quality meats and produce. Great for your everyday needs. But, if you're looking for something a chef would use, such as fresh Shiitake mushrooms, or fresh alfalfa sprouts, you'll have to try another chain that's not so "down home" especially if you want a good variety of prepackaged/canned ethnic food. ie, Chinese, Japanese, Tai, Kosher...etc...

Some of the cashiers there don't help load your groceries in the cart they rather put it on the counter...Food Lion on Western Blvd does a good job with doing that
