Food Lion is literally our hometown grocery store and we use it for absolutely everything except huge meat buys . For that we go to hills grocery store but other than that food Lion has the absolute best produce and deals on everything else in the grocery store and we definitely use this as our main place to get groceries.. the staff go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of and if you can't find something that you want they will make sure that they do everything they can in order to stock it for you the next time I really have respect for the people who run food Lion and I appreciate the services that they provide

I always love food Lion there are hometown grocery store and we use them more than we do almost anybody else in Columbus County aside from heels heels has the best meats anywhere but aside from that food Lion has got the absolute best of everything else.. I'm not joking this is a store that goes beyond and out of their way to make sure that if you ask them to stock something that they get it they do their best to get it or they make sure that they put in an acquisition to get it for you I absolutely love this store and love the people who work there because they go above and beyond for you definitely definitely will keep shopping at food Lion!!!

Typical grocery store, they really need more cashiers. Usually has what I went there for. Nice produce section. Nice variety of breads, and rolls. Prices keep going up though.

Good grocery store with most things you need. Sometimes we can't find more exotic items for fancy recipes but I am never sure if they stick them or we don't know where to look. The people that work there are always friendly.

They have the best produce in Whiteville. Its cheaper at Walmart, but these have no taste. I especially like that FL potatoes aren't dirty. Smell the bag and don't smell dirt. If you want produce and real Italian bread like you use to get in Northern states go to the Food Lion in Little River SC.

The management is very personable and professional. Most of the employees are kind and helpful as well. The store is well maintained and is always clean. The only reason I didn't give the store a 5 star is because there is never any Diet Dr Perky in stock! There's only two spaces which is 6 twelve pks. You would think because they are always sold out that they would order more maybe put some on an end cap or have a display. Overall I love shopping at the Tabor City Food Lion.

Shopping was great, was able to find everything on my grocery list. The cashier was very polite and had a great personality. Would definitely do more shopping for all my grocery here. Even had someone to help load our groceries, you hardly get that kind of help anymore.

Customer service has improved slightly. A couple of employees have offered to help. The one reason I go is for the Shop and Earn and produce, which is not great but the best my small town offers

It is easy to find, nice parking lot. Several ways to get into and out of parking lot. They have a nice selection of items. The store is Clean. The staff are helpful, if you can not find something they are willing to help. They can't read your mind so you will have to stop and ask.

I'm never disappointed with the cleanliness of the store. The staff is always freindly. I especially like the cha-ching brand. If you haven't tried it your missing out. 🍞, hotdog buns, and hamburger buns less than a dollar. Potato chips 79cents. (Basic flavors) They have some decent sale prices and beat competors on a lot of staples. Last check bananas.37 a lb. You need that in this heat

Really enjoy Food Lion in Tabor City. I have been back in Tabor going on 8 years. I have never had a problem there. They always have warm friendly faces. It makes my day to see them. My mom loves to go there also.

This is my favorite local grocery store for numerous reasons. They have such a wide selection of products always available. The kind fellows on duty always help my grandparents carry groceries to the car. We also have a Food Lion MVP card so we get a nice discount on most shopping trips!

Love the store but cashiers were really rude to me and my grandma. I simply asked cashier to not bag my items because I brought my own and I’ll bag it myself. Well my grandmas stuff was to go in plastic bags because it was going to another house. But the stuff was to be rung up together. Not complicated because I’m a cashier also for a grocery store. Well she rolled her eyes at us and said If it mattered that d**n much to do it ourselves and the lady that came around to help walked off because she said we were being to picky. I didn’t think so but I won’t be going back there. It was my first time and my last time. She was an older lady and her name started with a j. She was wearing glasses and was really rude to my grandma especially

The staff is friendly and the place is kept up. It is a small Food Lion so there isn't as many fresh items that I would like to have. Just the usual staples. Sometimes you'll find good meat on sale. For tax free grocery shopping, hop on over to South Carolina and Dave a little bit of change. South Carolina is only a mile from this location.

Prices can be higher on some items but I like Food Lion as they carry some foods not available as other food stores such as IGA and Walmart. They carry Perogies and Mueller Large Shells. Store is clean.

The rudest people I have ever came encounter with !!!! I walked to customer service counter an filled out my Western Union paper the woman took my paper then tells me she going on break it will be about 20 mins ...!! I mean really u couldn't take 3 more mins to satisfy the customer then take ur break?? So I go to the manager an ask if there anyone else running customer service ..he had the nerve to tell me .if the woman went to break then I just needed to wait that he was BUSY???? WTW I'll never shop there again an I will be reporting to corporate
