I stopped in today inquiring about a beta fish. They sell them as well as a variety of other pets and pet supplies. I enjoyed looking around. As I was about to leave, I noticed some artfully decorated doggie treats. They seem to sell everything you would need and the proprietor was very friendly.

Affordable prices and good customer service. The store usually has a large selection of fish, pet supplies, parakeets ,ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, reptiles, hamsters, and rabbits depending on the shipments. The rodents are in a open top enclosure that allows customers to pet or interact with them. Some of the isles are narrow.

I discovered this store in a pinch as I didn’t want to drive to TN Petco, and my local Pet Shop is awful. I do a lot of aquascaping and was excited too see my favorite fish supply brands on the shelves and the variety of fish products. And to top it off was the care of the fish available was just top of the line for a pet shop and the absolutely polite employees. Shout out to a the new guy y’all hired ! He’s doing very good! This how pet shops should be running!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Glad to finally see Betta fish sold in tanks and not cups !!

It's like an indoor zoo! Love this place. Great selections for all types of animals. Very knowledgeable staff. Lots of Fish. A variety of reptiles; snakes, lizards, frogs, dragons, scorpions, hermit crabs, etc etc. Bunnies, birds, hamsters, gerbils, hedgehogs and ferrets. Foods, treats, habitats/tanks and toys. Clean! Speaking of which, they have dog washing stations. If your pet needs it they more than likely have it or can get it.

This pet store was recommended by some local store owners in Dillsboro after finding a feral kitten under one of the stores. I do rescue work so couldn’t leave the little kitten to the elements, even on vacation. We are from South Carolina, so needed kitten care items to temporarily care for it and a travel carrier. I prefer to support local shops when I can.I purchased all the initial items needed and a 24” travel carrier from this store. When we got to the cabin 25 min away and tried to put the carrier together it was missing the fastener parts to secure the door. We drove back to the store to exchange it or get the missing parts.The two associates were not trained or lacked authority to do an exchange/return and reached out to a missing third associate. When the third associate told them she wouldn't be back for awhile, the older associate called the owner. The older associate was visibly upset and frustrated about the missing third associate. I suggested they substitute the missing parts from a smaller crate. She was snippy and rude about the suggestion. I guess getting 4 plastic fasteners from a $20 carrier for the $55 carrier I bought wasn’t a sound business practice from their point of view.It would have been okay and I would have just purchased the smaller 22” crate if the older associate had a modicum of decency.I didn’t cause the disappearance of the third employee and I didn’t sell a product with missing pieces, so I’m not sure why I had to suffer her ire. I had them do the return and I purchased a carrier from Walmart.

We found this cute little pet store after passing through Sylva we kept noticing a blue sign after finally making our way to the store we were more then happy to find a great well arranged pet store from ferrets fish to felines and to the k9s and reptiles they have a very welcoming store and very friendly staff! Highly recommended stopping by!

My boyfriend and I are here all the time, by far the best pet store we have found in the state. Great selection of animals, supplies, and anything else you could need. The employees and owners are wonderful. Highly recommend!

Having as many reptiles as I do you need a steady supply of vitamins, supplements, and of course food and feeders. Any question I have Chris has been more than happy to help me get correct information. I don't feel pressured to buy a product because it's not pushed on me. I get a lot of options when visiting and ideas of how to manage issues I may be having with an enclosure. If your looking to help add a new member or sustain a healthy lifestyle for the ones you have this is the place for you.

My family has bought several of our fish here (we have 3 tanks) and they are all doing great! The man who has helped us every time we've been is always very informative, answers any questions we have and makes sure we don't get fish that are going to have conflict with any of our existing fish. We've found our new favorite PET store! (Could have named it "Fish and oh so much More Pet Store".) On several occasions my husband and I have been assisted by the owners, as well as various staff. All have been informative, helpful, and kind. You can tell when someone knows the answers and can be trusted, and when they're just going through the motions. (Initially we got to the point we quit asking questions at the big box place, now we won't even go there.) Here at Fish and More, we go in for a little something and end up in informative and enjoyable conversations with the owners, whose passion for their pets runs as deep as our own.Can they recommend the best long-lasting chew? Yes they can, and my dogs don't know the world exists when I give them one. Best. Dog-Sitter. Ever. Other day I'm out for supplies, hubs calls - dogs are too hyper he needs to focus on work, give them a "recommended treat" and I'll be home soon I say. Get home a while later, dogs are still occupied and he's working away in a quiet house. (I'm not going to tell you which is the miracle treat on the bark bar. Call me selfish, but I can't risk them being out of stock when I need them. ; p. ) Every other experience we've had with their advise has been similar, deemed trustworthy and proven valuable."Can you...?", "Will you...?", "Do you know...?", the answer has always been yes, or let me get someone who can, will, or does. The only time it's ever no is when I start with "Do you mind....?" We are very lucky to have such a wonderful not-so-little shop so close by. I love doing business with independent store owners who seem as genuinely appreciative of my business as I am of their shop.**Added bonus: their shirt wears well and fits great. : ) Thanks for everything y'all.

These are the best people I know. The cleanest pet shop were 50 miles for sure. I run into some medical complications and I called them and they helped me rehome every animal that I had. It is a blessing to have people like them in the community

All the pets seem taken care of very well. Even if you aren't going to go buy a pet they have supplies and it's just cool to walk in and see all the animals. Staff are also very cool.

Owners are always super kind and helpful. Small shop, but have everything you may possibly need for a pet. Also they have live pets from fish, snakes, birds, and variety of small furry animals which are always cool to look at

The people here are awesome! Every time I come in they are pleasant and helpful and the prices are very reasonable. I usually bring my dog as a lot of toys and treats are on his level and he likes to browse. This morning I brought him in to pick out a toy because he is recovering from a cancer removal surgery, they gave him a free treat and helped us to the car! You can tell they genuinely care about customers & pets and want the best for them. This is my go-to place!

Great variety of pet supplies for almost EVERY pet imaginable. We get a special dog food there & the price is comparable to ordering from other sources. And if you buy 10, the next one is free! Service is friendly & laid back. Live bunnies or gerbils, etc are available to hold & love on, too!

We're new to the area, and I was blown away by the quality of this pet store. We were able to get everything we needed to setup a hybrid terrarium/aquarium with waterfall. Two ladies helped me...I'm bad on remembering names. But they were both extremely patient. Highly recommend this place!

Edit:Two years later and my goldfish are still alive and thriving. Amazing pet store and everything here is taken care of so well.Every time I go here I am greeted by lovely staff members. Yesterday I went and bought two goldfish and the staff was very friendly and helped me decide what kind of fish to get and what to do to set up my aquarium at home. Today I went in again trying to get a harness for my dog. They helped me decide what brand to get and what size and I got home and it fit him perfectly. He also loved the homemade treat I bought him. This is hands down the best pet store I have ever been to. The animals are taken care of very well and when you look at the fish tanks there are no sick or dead fish. Everything at this store is very well taken care of. I’ve recommended fish and more to many people.

Best pet store ever!! Employees are very knowledgeable and beyond helpful, Kat was amazing with helping my daughter and I find the right pet for us! Kat is Very friendly an truly cared about her job, something that I love about this pet store! She is an amazing employee, worked very hard while we were there, vacuuming/dusting/cleaning, but still took the customer service experience just as serious! Stopping to just check in to see if we needed help with anything, really going above and beyond! The store was immaculate as well, all pet cages were spotless and you "could eat off the floor" it was so clean throughout, and even smelled good/clean when we walked in unlike most pet stores!If you have never been I highly recommend it, they have small pets that you can cuddle an hold as well, unlike the commercial stores that have their pets behind glass! They have a huge reptile area, as well as a large selection of fish! This store literally has it All!My daughter always begs to go anytime we are anywhere close, I can't say no when it comes to fish and more because I enjoy going just as much as her! They also have a huge supply of any pet needs, tons on inventory and choices, they even have a self dog/pet wash area! They have added the dog/pet wash since I had been there last and I think it is an amazing addition to the store! Our town doesn't have a lot of options for dog wash services so to have the opportunity to do it yourself is amazing! Save the hassle and clean up of bathing pets at home, ingenious idea! They have created a space just as gorgeous as it is functional, your pets will feel like they had a day at the spa and so will you! The wash rooms had plenty of room to accommodate washing even the largest great Dane to the smallest Yorkie!Can't say enough good things about fish and more pet store! Being a local this store has been a blessing to not have to drive 30 mins+ to buy pet supplies/pets! The quality service and affordable prices of this store (not to mention top notch customer service) make this store truly the best pet store EVER!Even people who do not have pets can enjoy the amazing experience that this pet store offers! Fun for all ages!I have never left a review online before until now, after my experience I HAD to leave fish and more the review they deserve! Kat's help and devotion to her job is what made me want to leave my first ever review! I even asked her how I could leave a review to commend her for her amazing devotion to her job!! Can't believe I've never left a review for this place! Would have sooner if I had remembered.This is by far the best pet shop I've ever been to. The store is clean and the animals are well taken care of. I live in Waynesville but I'll gladly come to Sylva to come to this pet shop over any other's for supplies or just getting a new pet in general. I've been coming here for years and I absolutely love it. The staff are also absolutely amazing. I'd definitely suggest this store over any other!
