I made an appointment online to receive several vaccines. I completed the (recommended time saving at appointment) questionnaire and received a confirmation number.Despite my on time arrival there seemed to be some confusion as the person assisting me had to stop to ask the Pharmacist several questions while trying to complete the computer information. I was then told I had not completed the questionnaire, which I definitely did along with the appointment, and was told I had to complete the forms to receive the vaccines.It seems that Walgreens cannot be trusted with your online submitted personal medical information!It is a shame this pharmacy is always a bad experience (see prior reviews) as the retail store personal are wonderful at this location.

Pharmacy employees are rudest. Base pharmacy isn't even this rude. Then help is stocking n doesn't want to go to register because oh wait for it they don't want too! But has time to answer her personal cell phone! This is unacceptable!

Can't ever get to talk to a pharmacist there computer is down a lot out of my meds a lot even that the perception has been there for months the people in front of the store are Great but the back well that's why it's called the Back of the store

The people at the pharmacy lie. I had one prescription ready to be picked up and another that I put in 6 days prior that wasn't filled. The pharmacy called and asked why I didn't pick up the one. I said I've been waiting 6 days for the other one. They said my second insurance didn't approve their portion and they told me to call and find out why. I called and was told Walgreens never requested it so they couldn't approve what they never got. I called Walgreens back and asked why they didn't contact my second insurance. Instead of answering me they offered a coupon where I could pay $25. I asked why I would want a coupon when I have 2 insurances and between the 2, my prescription is completely covered. Finally they agreed to go to my second insurance.On top of this I have another prescription that they tried to charge me full price for because they said my primary insurance wouldn't cover it because it was over the counter. Since my primary insurance said no, they couldn't go to my secondary insurance. I contacted my primary insurance and my provider and learned that Walgreens never contacted my provider to get prior authority.I'm really tired of the run around I get with this place. I don't know if they think people are stupid. I don't know if they're lazy. I don't know if the management doesn't hire enough staff. I don't know if the management even knows what's going on. Something is wrong with this place. I should not have to ask every time they fill a prescription if my second insurance was applied. And they should be calling providers if prior authorization is needed. These people don't want to be bothered with anything other than filling the prescriptions and finding an easy way out by offering coupons that aren't necessarily better just to avoid dealing with insurance.

They will suddenly price gouge you on your medications and not warn you. The management is untruthful and will not help you, I have used Walgreens for a very long time and this is the last time I will be spending any money there. My health insurance had a change and when I picked up the medication they did not tell me anything. I expected the normal $20 or less payment. When I got home I noticed it was $130 and called them. The manager said since I picked it up there was nothing she could do. I expressed how frustrating that is because the attendant always clears the price with me when its unusually high and they said nothing only to put it on express pay. She asked the person who helped me and they lied and said they told me the price. She then proceeded to claim that she managed to check the recording within only 2 minutes and verified the attendant clearly told me the price. When I called her out on it and said that if I knew that was the price I would have said something and also that there is no way she scrolled through the recordings and spoke to the attendant in 2 minutes I was holding. She then changed the story to there is nothing she can do because I picked up the medication.The same medication on GoodRx is only $50 instead they want to pocket the difference of $80. I was not asking to return the medication only to pay a fair price which I would have done had I known what it was. We wonder why the medications in this country are sky high, it is businesses like these. I will never, ever shop at any Walgreens after this experience.

Horrible service from the app, the pharmacy, to shopping in the store in person. Tried contacting the pharmacy on a Saturday around 6:45pm, and kept getting "pharmacy closed" when I tried to call. They cancel prescriptions, require phone calls for some, and are generally NEVER available yet require a call on some refills. Couldn't even get through to the main line to try to reach the pharmacy! Awful service! Ridiculous!

Good store. This one runs discounts and deals all the time. Pharmacy is good too. I can pick up prescriptions for my gf if I get the code from her. I don’t get hassled about an ID which is nice. I usually come here for the atm since it’s an Allpoint linked with USAA. Being a member with them I don’t have to worry about transaction fees. Store is pretty close to the house so we don’t have to drive too far to get to it. Pretty convenient actually. I’d definitely come back here. Staff seem to really care about this location and are usually in the aisles regularly stocking shelves.

Pharmacy complaint. I went to pick up my husband’s prescription. He called it in thru the automated line and the system said it would be ready after 3 pm. When I got to the window I told the lady that I was picking up my husbands medicine but I didn’t know if he gave them the update insurance. She kept interrupting me and just being very short in general. She told me they didn’t have anything on file so I told her I needed to call my husband. The entire time I was on the phone with my husband it was the same thing. Interrupting me. Being rude. Being short. Obviously frustrated with me. We have already transferred to another pharmacy.

Store was neat and looked sanitary. I go to Walgreens because there a dealer for blue bell icecream some of the best icecream I've ever bought, lately (last 6 months) they have the same flavors over and over. I have checked from Jacksonville nc to morehead city and it seems like all are carrying similar flavors. The reason for 4 stars.

I scheduled a covid booster at this location. After standing at the pharmacy counter for 20 minutes after my scheduled time, I was informed they couldn’t administer it because I didn’t have my vaccine card. When I asked for the manager, she informed me that the information was in an email that I deliberately deleted.Poor customer service and poor clinical practice. Pharmacy complaint. I went to pick up my meds at the pharmacy. I was second in line and the disrespectful person behind the pharmacy desk helped the third person in line before me. I even said excuse me but I'm next. I said it twice and got the same answer in a demeaning way twice. Her reply was very disrepectful. I will be with you next.This was said in a very demeaning tone. How unprofessional that was and very humiliating to me. I will never use this place again. I was disrespected and talked down to at this pharmacy. I complained to the manager. I told her I was brushed aside and I was disrespected. I told the manager that I am a Registered Nurse and it is bad business to treat people that way. I hope this never happens to another person. That lady should not work with the public if she can't change her tone with customers and be respectful and nice.

Lydialynn at the front register is a ray of sunshine. She always greets everyone so happily as they enter. At checkout she has the most positive attitude and is always just so very pleasant when working with a customer. I don’t know her personally. I just wanted to make sure someone in management recognizes what a great employee they have.

I went to get a COVID and flu test, according to the website, but I could only get a COVID test. This wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't have to walk out of the car and walk in and out the building while extremely weak, just to sit in a car for 10+ minutes just so I can take the test. I could've gotten other people sick! Unbelievable!

Worst experience ever!! I was treated so rudely by the manager, Melissa, while trying to use my rewards card and inquire about a product on sale. She had no time for me or my inquire and actually rolled her eyes. The cashier was horribly ill informed and couldn’t help me in the least. I ended up leaving without making the purchase. I filed a complaint with corporate and was told I would receive a call. It’s been nearly two weeks. I notified corporate that management from the store failed to reach out to me. I was told I would get a call in 2 business days and still nothing. They obviously don’t care about their customers or providing good customer service.

I tried calling the pharmacy today to fill a prescription and the individual who answered my call was so rude and then proceeded to tell me I had to wait five hours for my prescription today. The nicer I was the rudder they were. I will never use walgreen's again and the funny part of this story the pharmacy only had been open two minutes.

Due to covid licenses, tags, registration and the whole 9 have a five month extension because everything is appointment only. I tried to buy cigarettes and explain why my license is still expired and the new extensions. This location not only didnt respect that, the manager told me that the extension might be true, but that she wont follow it. That Walgreens wont follow it. I was shocked at the lack understanding.

Usually fills my prescription fine but has failed to restock three different times that I've had the prescription sent through. Instead archive or delete the prescription, made me waste a month of my life just trying to get syringes before I ran out, but have now run out and am due for a shot.

I have used Walgreens for my whole family. I have never had an issue or treated rudely till today. The one day when it was urgent. I made arrangements with my doctor, pharmacy, & insurance to have my prescriptions early since I would be going out of state. When I called to see if everything was ready they said 1 hour. After arriving home I noticed one was missing. David who refused to give me any more information than that refused to fill it due to it being early. After I explained everything, he kept me on hold having other associates pick up the line to say he was working on it. At 856pm he said you will have to wait. I leave at 530am and won’t be back till March. Florida will not fill out of state prescriptions.I heard him laugh saying is she still waiting.This is a nightmare!

Visited the Swansboro store Christmas eve. Normally we would not shop on such a busy day but ran low on a needed item. With covid cases soaring we were shocked the employees were not wearing masks. So disappointed in Walgreens.

I'm changing my review of Walgreens because of a single employee in the pharmacy named Shellie. I have been coming to this Walgreens since they opened. All the staff know me by first name. I get all out my family prescriptions here, except for insulin for my hubby. That I get from Walmart, because it's $60 cheaper for whatever reason. He ran out of syringes. I go to the pharmacy with a copy of the syringe type & pic of script. She says she could not sell them cause he didn't ha e a prescription on file that required syringes. I explained because of the cost, that's the only script that I get anywhere else. I asked what am I supposed to do? She says drive to Walmart or have the doc call. If it had been anyone else this wouldn't have been a problem. I felt she treated me like a drug addict. The lady that normally helps me, rolls her eyes at her. So this is the reason for my review. It isn't Walgreens fault. But I go here because I'm treated like a friend or a actual person. Not today. Beware of Shellie! 👎🏼

Terrible experience with the software of the welcoming Voice who also accepts requests for refills. I guesstimate she correctly accepts refill numbers about 50 % of the time & then sent time me to a “person who will help me”.With significant time available last nite, I waited for that person for 61 minutes & then hung up.Thereafter, to eliminate a technical problem, I redialed & went thru to the “ help person “ without success. After another 16 minutes. I retreated a large glass of wine.PS: I was unable to find the managers phone number after a significant search.PPS: The pharmacy & staff do a great job

Pharmacist was extremely rude and condescending. She refused to quote a medication price without insurance and would not even look at an out of state prescription. There are not many pharmacies in Swansboro, but anything is better than nasty service.

Was rushed out the door so the two women employees in cosmetics could resume their conversation. Took a few steps then returned to make another purchase right there. They did not care! They kept talking amoungst themselves. I walked out unhappy.I have never been treated so badly there.

My wife was on the phone for over an hour trying to talk to their BOGUS pharmacy and they never answered! This was possibly the worst pharmacy in the history of pharmacies. Maybe ever! I will tell you how to run a pharmacy. People always tell me I run some of the best pharmacies, unlike LAME Walgreens, which doesn't even have good medicines. Unbelievable!

One of my favorite places to go in Swansboro when I need something quick and convenient. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of home products that you could get at the grocery store or big box, but right in your backyard. Always have deals and the reward system is good as well.

Sign on door says masks are required to enter building. 6 people were in this store with no masks. The manager said there was nothing she could do about itThat is a lie. If you are immunocompromised or have family members that are, do not go to this walgreens!
