Went Monday nite cashier missed putting part of my order in the bag got home meat not there called went back manager gave me a fresher pork roast got it home saw it is nothing but covered in fat not my choice not my pick I'm home in bed from surgery or this would already be back plus the wasted gas on the trip this little roast has now cost 20 dollars don't trust there staff to get all your groceries watch for your self

How nice it was to see a Piggly Wiggly! It brought back childhood memories living in South Carolina. This location was clean, quiet and definitely had some age to it but organized and it was stocked with items you can't find in other grocery stores such as the green tomatoes which we purchased. There was a section of old school candy that you can't find in other places, too. The aisles were open and easily navigable without being crowded with displays and whatnot. My son even said, "Mom, they have Faygo soda!".... it's the little things that make a BIG difference! Be sure to visit this Pig when you are in Swansboro, it's worth the trip.

Some good deals (not many) on meats, everything else is just meh. TBH, this place looks so run down that I’d even be leery of eating any meat from here. Unswept floors, old, dirty shelves and glass, etc. doesn’t really make me want to buy anything here. Really needs some maintenance and a good facelift.

It was on the way to the farmers market and I am glad we stopped on the way back. They had good prices and ready to eat food that looked awesome. I had a pound of banana pudin for 4.99 that was very good.

Outstanding staff that are professional and friendly, great deli and bakery. They serve breakfast and lunch daily at very good prices. The meat department is very clean and the meats are reasonably priced. Very nice grocery store. Always love shopping there.

The staff are very friendly (some are a little slow if you are in a hurry). I do prefer going there to get my meats if I can’t make it to Lowes or Publix. I know places can’t always have the freshest produce but when you get bad produce multiple time it gets very upsetting. The produce is the worst in the area.

Came in here because of the great deal on London Broil. Was very happy to see great and competitive prices on a lot of other things especially meat, deli, and produce. Loved that they had boars head at the deli. Very clean, organized, and NOT CROWDED! Definitely will be going here in the future.

Love this store!!!!! Don't know why it has the rep that it does. But the meat is off the hook! I used to work in a meat dept at Weis so I know what I'm talking about. I love scooping up those early morning Mark downs and stocking up my freezer. You can get some really great deals. The store is a little dated but so what? The little food bar at the deli has some good food. They do have a tendency to let it sit a little too long but for cheap eats you can't go wrong.

Had only eaten at the grill inside once before when they had just opened but the last 2 visits were unsatisfactory and I will not be ordering there again. 1 visit was a half hour before closing and they refused service saying that they had already closed and tried to justify it by saying that they had to clean up to out by their closing time. Well if that's the case why not post the time 1/2hr earlier. The last visit I got sick, ate a fair amount of the fried chicken piece before getting to the uncooked middle. Sorry but I really wanted it to be good since it would be so much better for me than any of the fast food joints!

Friendly local staff with a surprising selection of local and import beers among regular grocery selection.The breakfast and lunch there are a local favorite but don't tell them I told you. (It's a local secret.) ; ) Seriously, their breakfast biscuits are amazing!

Tonight when I went into the fridge to take out some beef to make hamburgers, I noticed that the package I had purchased just a couple of days ago was still before the sell by date but the beef smelled rank and looked like death. I decided it would be a good idea to take it back to the store and try to exchange it for something fresh. Upon arrival, once a cashier located a manager for me, I was greeted very politely. I informed the manager of my situation and she was very apologetic and asked me if I wanted a refund or another package of hamburger around the same price. Well, I wasn't out for money, I just wanted to make some dinner, so I got close to the amount I had started out with. It was a couple dollars more expensive and I offered to pay the difference, but the manager said it was no trouble at all and bagged it up for me. She once again apologized and apologized again for the inconvenience and wished me a good night. This is some of the best customer service I have ever had at a grocery store and the management was extremely cooperative. It's good to know that a store where I shop for what is expected to be good food will have my back and guarantee a product that is supposed to stay fresh longer than it has. I will definitely be shopping here in the future. Thanks so much!

I'm really impressed with the store. Produce looks fresh. The aisle were neat and clear of clutter. Meats look appealing and clearly priced. Checking out is smooth and well staffed. In and out without problems.

This is the best place to buy chicken, beef, and other meats. They have their own butcher shop and the prices are great. You may not have the selection of the big chain stores but you definitely get that small town feel. This is one of my first stupid on the way to the beach.
