I shop there several times a week. I buy my cleaning supplies there.. but not lately.. you are more costly with cleaning supplies then a lot of stores.. I purchased chips from your store.. out dated and stale.. I also purchased chewing gum.stale! hard as a brick. I'm not looking for a refund.. but your products are not being looked overit needs more attention of dates.

Amazing amazing amazing customer service!! All I needed was an iron but after walking around I ended up filling an entire cart of really cool things that were so reasonably priced!! Eric was super helpful I had never even been in a family dollar before but after today's experience I will definitely be back!

On my recent visit to Family Dollar in Swansboro, NC, I truly believe I received some of the best customer service I have ever had. I was desperately looking for something I could not find anywhere else. The store manager, Eric went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer when I left. No more DG for me. I am really not impressed with this location. The customer service that I have received the several times that I have shopped there within the past 4 months has been terrible! I would rather drive to Jacksonville or Morehead City versus dealing with the lack of friendliness and welcoming personalities that are working in this location. (I'm not speaking for ALL employees, only a couple). I'm not sure if she's a manager or what, but she really needs to understand that working in retail... does mean that you are working and interacting with the public every single day.. if you are not a people person, and wear your emotions like a coat... then perhaps you should consider a career change.

I was purchasing an item there on the first of each month in bulk, it stopped coming in, employees explained they dont order so I called district manager whose name and number is on front door several times and she never called me back, terrible district manager who hides behind voice mail and doesnt care to return a customers call.
