We adopted a kitten yesterday. They were so patient with my (overly excited) kids and they made the process so easy. Plus it was only $20 for the kitten and a carrier. PLUS we got a voucher to get the kitten fixed. The facility was the cleanest and, to be honest, best smelling APS I've ever been to and you could tell the animals were well loved.

Excellent interaction with front desk today - they referred me to Corporal Musgrove Re: a surrendered beautiful young healthy Chihuahua mix. She helped facilitate an interim transfer to Brunswick Shelter until Paws Place Dog Rescue can pick up the orphaned dog, “CeCe. Paws Place will care for the darling angel until the right forever home is found . So grateful for this fortunate outcome with Brunswick staff, who quickly acted to understand a somewhat complicated circumstance. With many folks working together this loving & loyal dog will have a great chance for a happy & safe life . So grateful for the organizations in our area- public &Private who care deeply about companion animals . Both my wife and I are completely impressed with the concern and care that the deputies at this facility have for the animals in their care. Christina is especially caring and really knowledgeable reference the animals in her care. When we adopted our little dog Buddy we found that he has heartworms. She told us that the county would take care of the problem with our little Buddy. He has been through the shots and is in post care at the Brunswick kennel. Christina has been in contact with us keeping us posted on Buddy's rehab. Kudos to Sheriff John Ingram on down through the ranks of the Brunswick County Animal Service from both my wife and myself to a very professionally run kennel. Kudos to all!

The third time my dog had been attacked by the neighbors dog!! Nothing is ever done about it. They claim dog is in invisible fence and nobody is even there hwithd thisdog.g. I'm really tired thmy dog which I love very much being attacked nobody does anything! It's sad a dog can't even go out and play alittle each day I payed his wound on the pics they get dogs and never pay attention to the dog is fast

My neighborhood has called several times due to almost being attacked by a dog from another neighborhood. This person has several dogs 2 of which are aggressive and are running loose. Nothing has been done about it luckily no children have been victim yet. We have talked to the owner and they will not do anything about it. This is ridiculous. Send someone now! Dorsey ln navassa it's a white pit bull and tan husky both are about to die from starvation on top of it all

Misdiagnosis of my dog Tater. Went there twice. First time I asked the vet to xray his leg but she just felt it and automatically said he either had a torn ACL or it maybe was tearing. She just sent him home with a couple meds. Then about 6 mos later another vet there xrayed Tater and found he had a ruptured disc in his lower back. So we don't know who to believe but more inclined to believe the one that actually exrayed Tater. He needed surgery but they do not do it there. No one around here does surgeries like that on our babies! Have to get on a waiting list for the ONE vet in W'ington that does the surgery. Anyhoo...it was a angry and sad experience with them. Wish it would have been dif.

Great shelter! They take wonderful care of their animals and offer a great selection of cats, kittens, dogs and puppies amongst other types of animals. Their facebook page and website are always up to date as well which is nice! They also have very low adoption fees unlike a lot of other shelters. This shelter is definitely worth the drive and I would highly recommend checking them out if you are considering adding a new fur baby to your family!

There’s no way they deserve any stars, get those poor animals away from them cruel people. Just read the story on Google about the terrible conditions and how the dogs are treated. Please someone take care of them poor babies, they deserve a home, it’s not their fault there in a shelter. It’s stupid owners.

We adopted a beagle named Willis. He is sweet and sassy and is currently in for heartworm treatment. The staff there is great, and the facility is always clean, without a whiff of dog-doo or urine. I like the place and the way they are taking care of Willis

These people do not care about your pet my cat's leg got caught in a neighbors fence and broke her leg and they called them and they put her down almost immediately she was chipped and well taken care of they didn't even try we called after three hours of them receiving her and it was to late and they had already disposed of the ashes so there was no part of her to bring home this place is the inhumane society as far as I see it

Horrible inhumane animal shelter. Animals have matted hairs, and red patched skin all over bodies. Animals are not taking care of here, they're mistreated. NEGLECTED, AND ABUSED! NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN, AND ALL EMPLOYEES CHARGED.

We adopted our beautiful kitty - Brunswick whom we call Wiki in 2014 after losing our precious boy Neko. He had already been placed back in the van when we showed up at Zeetlegoos. Disappointed, we asked if they had any cats at all. They had just one. They went back out to get him. It was love at first site- which he needed. This tuxedo, feral rescue has blossomed into our Velcro cat who is as funny as he is loving. Thank you Brunswick Cty Sheriff’s Animal Shelter!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, Very clean facility! Lot of care are given to the dogs before they are put out for adoption. While they are waiting to be adopted they have cots, blankets, toys and are walked by staff and volunteers. It's a happy place!

Animal control officer, Deputy Gote and staff picked up my service dog at my request. Goliath had something going on inside him and he bacame furious and made attempts at biting people. He scared my mother and showed his teeth and hair standing up. Goliath was my battle buddy and I hoped he would get better but did not on a five day repreave at Brunswick Animal Shelter. The experience is painful not having him anymore, he was my everything. The staff knew the pain in my eyes and voice with bodily reaction. They put Goliath to sleep on 7/25/2018 and creamated him. To my surprise, they put him in a beautiful oak looking box with name plate and a paw print. The condolence card was beautiful too. They take extremely good care of all the pets they have. The facility is clean. The facility only has the best intentions for all the animals that they go out and RESCUE! They train the animals too become family pets. I personally think they do a wonderful job.

Nancy up front treating people badly over finding a dog trying for weeks to rehome or find owner getting the pup cked for a chip could not keep myself do you landlord no pets aloud all this being explained keep in mind the countless rescue groups that where reached out to again no help you NANCY and the way you treat and talk to people are the reason pets are thrown out and not turned in so people don’t have to be belittled by the likes of you give yourself a big pat on the back job NOT well done
