Wonderful veterinary services. Always accommodating, friendly staff. They have helped me keep my dog and cats happy and healthy for over 20 years. I will forever be grateful for their kindness through times of loss. They charge very reasonable fees and have given my pets a lifetime of care. From ear mites to cancer, they have been a reliable resource for my furry family. I highly recommend them!

We absolutely love Summerfield Vet! The staff is so kind and down to earth. Dr. Ballard has become almost like family over the last year. I’ve been super impressed that he’s taken the time to answer my questions and update me on my fur babies when they’ve had to stay in the hospital for the day, even if it means calling me back on his lunch break or after hours. Hands down the best vet we’ve ever had, I’m so thankful we have them. ❤️

This is a very very great place 2 take your babys if they need anything, they also give u all the time you need too say goodbye.They also cream mated my girl, and a few days later I received a card with some of her hair and a foot print, I will always be grateful 4 what they did 4 me.

Just took one of my dogs in, a Great Pyrenees. He had a mass in his lung cavity, heart problems and a problem with his back. Dr. Thomas was explaining the extensive care and cost these problems would be, and was very sweet about it. I was the first one to say, put him down, she didn't want to. Dr. Thomas, and the entire staff, was very kind, sympathetic, and helpful. Summerfield is highly recommended by me.

Always super nice and helpful. Last visit I had one of my dogs neutered. They took very good care of him. Even trimmed his nails and cleaned his teeth while he was there and said nothing to me about it! Of course it wasn't on the bill either.

I was able to get an appointment today for my sick cat as a new patient. Checkin staff was super nice and the process was simple to register a new patient. We were taken back right away to a room. The vet tech was very friendly and the Dr. was super nice and helpful. He offered several options for treatment for a UTI. Checkout was great also and the receptionist was so friendly. I definitely recommend.

Main vets aren’t personable and only do what they have to. I can usually ignore that but when it comes to my animals, I want to know what’s going on and to feel like I have someone to rely on. Switched vets after they trimmed my outdoor cats nails without asking (they knew he lived outside.)

These folks really care about your animals. The vets here form real relationships with our pets which makes it a lot easier for nervous dogs to go to the vet! Good prices and always able to squeeze us in when we need it. Can't recommend them enough!

My family has used this Veterinary hospital for many years for primary care. I like most of the staff that seem enthusiastic about their job and animals.I have brought up concerns with my animals that seem to be brushed off as normal but my pets have ended up with health issues that are not addressed until after seeing much worse affects. Kitten with kidney problems that were asked about months before passing. Dog with allergies with no sense in what direction we should address it.I would like if they would send an email, letter or call about reminders of appointments. Even if I missed an appointment because I’m busy with family I didn’t get a notification telling me I missed the appointment. I have to reach out, I have to ask the questions to find more information about the issues, have to be proactive in scheduling my next appointment they know I should come in for but they just ask for a payment only after the appointment.

The price of putting a dog to sleep has doubled sadly. My poor Taffy had to pass at home uncomfortable and suffering because I had little funds to put her down. I asked if I cpuld do a post dated check but they said I had to talk to the manager who was not there. I live pretty far away. I am sad we could not have brought her in that day I had a ride into Summerfield.

I was new to the area a few years ago and tried a few places before coming here with an emergency with my moms dog when she was visiting. I have been coming here ever since and I have had nothing but excellent experiences and they have very reasonable rates, none of this $100 just to walk in the door nonsense you get at a lot of vets. 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up!

We have been taking our small family members to see these friendly folks at Summerfield for over 14 years and they have always been kind and treated our animals with care. It means a great deal to have a place you trust that will look after your animals. They can’t tell us when they hurt, or let us know what bothers them and yet they still show us unconditional love every day. If you are like me I can’t afford to just take my dogs anywhere and pay any amount. I love them, yet I have to budget just to get them treatment . So I really appreciate he staff at Summerfield Vet.

They have taken excellent care of all my pets. I have recommended them to everyone seeking a vet in the area and no one has been disappointed. They remind me of old time veterinarians.

The doctor did great on the surgery our dog had. The receptionist was very rude though. I gave five stars because of the doctors and the nurses that was very helpful with questions and concerns. The receptionist's need to work on respecting the customers and not be so hateful.
