Always like to come here for quick trips or load up a buggy full. They have a clean store and it is well stocked. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. There produce is great along with the fresh meat. They have weekly deals that will help family's on a budget, they always have more than one lane open unlike the competition they even carry local items and help the community. All in all a great store

I came in for a restroom from my journey on the road. Michaela helped me get there and then on my way back I grabbed self serve food to go and Chloe helped me out at the register. She was so friendly and helpful. I appreciated the smile. And Michaela asked if I got to the rest room ok which was also friendly because sometimes quiet people don’t find the restroom and they don’t say anything so it’s cool when people ask anyways. Thank you for a great experience at your store and also it was awesome to see Chinese food at self serve. That’s rare

I shop here because it is the closest supermarket to my house.Their prices are the same at Lowes and Harris Teeter but their stores are much nicer.This Food Lion needs to be totally renovated.They need someone working at the customer service counter since I always have to ask and then wait for an employee to come.

This is my favorite grocery store, I pass Harris Teeter to come here. This afternoon it was unorganized and had only self serve check out. Thank goodness Doris came back from a break and knows how to pick up without direction. She kept asking where to go and no one would give her direction, so she picked a lane and checked me out. I hope management gets better.

Nice, clean, and we'll organized grocery store. Love their new deli and the variety it offers. Produce looked fresh and we'll stocked. Have a great variety of gluten free items! Helpful staff and enough cashiers that I had a very short wait. Prices are competitive and always great weekly specials.

Great friendly respectful knowledgeable polite experienced employees there tonight, Thursday February -03-22 @ 7:10pm, cashier #0121. Very great wonderful amazing positive attitude, with a pleasure to help me, with NO 🚫 attitude, NO 🚫 rolling her 👀, NO 🚫 hesitation, NO 🚫 problems nor issues. Was able to pay our power bill, with Duke energy thru Western Union at customer service desk at foodlion, & then went and got my gallon of milk and loaf of bread and checked out. My cashier was very nice and friendly and great customer service skills. Thank you

Love coming to this food lion, especially when Rachel "the rapping granny" is working. She makes my day. If I'm having a bad day, she lifts my mood. If I'm having a good day she makes it even better. She is an absolute asset to your team, and I hope she is as appreciated by you all as she is by us. The rest of the staff is very sweet and personable as well. There are few places, especially grocery stores, you can go and have the awesome experience provided here. They also generally have a good variety of produce, etc. at reasonable prices. I have bought cakes and cookies for work functions, and they have been fresh and delicious every single time. The selection of meats and deli are great and fresh as well. I also enjoy the hot wing bar when it is open during the day. It's very convenient, and the wings are delicious. Prices are reasonable on most items. You really can't go wrong shopping here.

They have a larger selection of vegetarian and vegan food than some other food lions in the area. They are clean. The staff is friendly but slightly rushed at the end of day. I would definitely shop at this location again but earlier.

This Food Lion is clean, organized and the staff provide above and beyond the typical Grocery Store experience. This store feels like home and the people who greet you are just wonderful. My daughter and I felt like family members, they were so familiar and helpful! THIS is why we moved to Summerfield!

Update: 9/1/2022: Prices go up every week. Even limiting purchases to sale items it's hard to get out without dropping $100 or more. I expect it's that way everywhere and not just a Food Lion thing. If this evonomy keeps crashing I'll be going to the Food LINE instead. Still, good selection of staples and some hard to find items. Deli is great. Chicken wing bar is outstanding! Also an excellent selection of beer.

I haven't been in a while, however it was great being able to purchase their in store made & sealed salads, I missed them, & salad bars in some of the stores, when you're in a hurry, or just worn out from all the pandemic stress going on, & along with working some unreal schedules. Hats off & many prayers to all Essential Worker, & including Law Enforcements the many people who learned that being with your Families, & even learning that your children & other family, friends, neighbors really do care about you, & let's never forget the 1 & only God & our faith in miracles, & our Savior Jesus Christ, & the Holy Spirit that guides us through some really bad times in our lives may God Bless Everyone in the World.🙏🏼❤🕊🙏🏼

When management changed, service was impeccable. Now, cashiers complain right in front of customers. Airing their grievances about their jobs. Hand me a receipt, don't even get a thank you. Thats why people drive to Oak Ridge for Lowes. Low rent Food Lion. No standards.

An improved experience after the store refresh (2yrs ago?). Converted from my beloved Lowes Foods after a consistently lower bill with (now) no compromise, except for shopping without a freshly pulled beer. Friendly staff, fresh food, and they win on all the precut deli (no more waiting). A well-run store with appropriate cleaning protocols.

I've always enjoyed shopping at FL. One main reason is they have plenty of lanes open with friendly cashiers and NO SELF CHECKOUTS. imagine my disappointment at finding them now installed at this FL location. I hope they don't use them like most stores have.

I shop this store only because it’s closest to my house. I do the online shopping because it’s easier for my family and lifestyle. 80% of the time, they don’t have what I ask for BUT still available online… and now, due to staffing, they can’t fulfill the online request I’ve done. I get todays and world and pandemic.. but, this is terrible customer service.

A local grocery store with a small town feel. Friendly staff and their store hours are good (later than most). Catch the sales to save $$ for their prices are just ok. Their company brand products are pretty good.
