First of all, the first few pictures are too nice of what this store actually looks like. This is an older store and it looks nothing like the pictures. Second of all, I shop here at least once a week and the store manager has seen me before. I went to bring back Tupperware and she accused me of stealing one. The reason of me bringing them back was there were missing pieces. I told her that and she was giving me a hard time. You would think she would know me by now since I've been shopping here for 5+ years. But not anymore. I will go to the newer one down the street where I'm not accused of stealing. Also the checkout is horrible. No one is there to help you unless you yell for someone and the self checkout rarely works.

Being a delivery guy for the store. Manager came off on a different vibe. In my honest opinion she didn't want to accept the goods, due to a temp probe when my truck going to give you the same reading. So I was asked to call my manager on how can we resolve this situation going forward. He was shocked as well he did his correct steps to situation told me proceed to next location. I went to my next drop zone I was approached by a gentleman that was at the same location he says to me hey that Bobbi manager said you took off with stolen goods an she's going to report you. At first I brushed it off. Then I felt as she made that comment cause the color of my skin. I've been driving for a year no accidents no problems now all sudden I'm stealing goods that she didn't want to accept her product at the store I feel bad for the customers that didn't receive the goods that was probably needed due to her arrogance.

You need to fire Bobbie(the 60+ year old lady) all she does is yell, and God forbid you try bringing a movie back that didn't have the DVD inside of it. Yelled at my husband saying there's nothing she could do unless he looked through all the movies to find that exact movie. Literally only yelling that at him, all the other customers in the store could hear her yelling, they were all shaking their heads and even seen a nice man worker was saying that wasnt right for her to do that. After me and him looked through the one big spot of movies we couldn't find it. So he had to go tell the woman and a different NICE worker woman helped us try to find it, but we couldn't so she told us to just get another movie with the same price. She also found a whole lot of movies that didn't have the DVD in it. She also yelled at an elderly woman for buying a carton of cigarettes WHICH the Bobbie woman scanned 10 packs of cigarettes which is more expensive than the carton, that woman also got a can of beans but she forgot them. And Bobbie said "well if these beans were important they'd come and get them." My mother took the bag out to the elderly woman and she said thank you this was my mother's day food. Fire Bobbie or you're going to lose a lot of customers. All the other workers are completely wonderful, but this woman is making people lose money and embarrassing them.

The staff of this location are extremely and please me when I arrived.the system did not automatically pull up the coupon voucher I had but the really friendly lady in the front did not hesitate to actually make that my situation right and it took no time to correct. I am not shocked at this store or this franchise much in the past however I am quickly becoming afan of the operation as it seems to be pretty steady across-the-board that customer service has been on the rise with the brand itself. Ultimately this is one of the best locations but they're all good or at least seem to be ahead of most other competitors. If you haven't given the brand a chance I would recommend trying at least once.

Good for a quick shopping trip. Sufficient parking for the store and an acceptable selection of items. Isles are narrow but that is suspected considering the items they carry in a smaller building. They definitely fit the niche they are trying to... easy, quick access, simple shopping closer to home.

First yall need to remember that if we leave you standing at the registers when there is a line it's because we are clocked out on lunch or clocked out going home we are not suppose to work off the clock and 2nd the manager and Assistant manager have been here a year now and I think we have done a wonderful job at getting this store cleaned and straightened up and I thank we are very nice and fair and helpful to our customers.

Went here to purchase a prepaid phone because my daughter had thrown my iPhone In the toilet. The store manager was very rude to me when I asked about the phone being only $29 she argued with me that I would have to pay the price of the phone $69 plus a $40 card. Myself and the other store associate explained to her the phone is only $29 when you purchase the $40 refill Card. After asking her to come look at the sign. She screamed aloud you need to leave my store. I never raised my voice or said anything to her but please come look at the sign. She refused and said for the last time I cannot do that. Told me she wouldnt serve me to leave the store immediately. My husband and I shop at this store on a daily basis. I was appalled at the way she spoke to me and treated me. She needs to lose her position as manager or her job altogether. I've worked with the public all my life and if I had treated/Spoke to a customer that way I would have been fired immediately. I'm calling corporate to let them know about this situation. People think they can act however they want but I know dollar general has standards to follow and she did not.The other associate was pleasant and kind and even told her that was what it said she was rude to her. So I went out and had my husband go in. Guess what he went in and came out with the phone for the correct price!!!!

I love this little Dollar General. When I first visited I'll be the first to say I couldn't find anything. But with the help of the ladies there . I came out with a positive attitude and more than a went in for lol .Very Friendly people, the store was nice and clean an very organized. Way to go Stokesdale Dollar General. Look.. dollar general is one of my favorite stores. But why?!!!! Is it always so cluttered?! And Not just this one... but all of them!!From disorganized and messy shelving, to random shipping boxes and the big stocking carts in the middle of every other isle...Get it together DG

The employees are nice especially the two young boys. The new manager at the Stokesdale Dollar General needs to go back for some more training on how to treat his employees and at least get a Hello from him or a thank you. I observed as well as a long line behind me when he corrected a employee, Karen Landreth, so loudly and rude right in front of a long line of customers over $.50. He was so rude. I've shopped in that store from the day it opened because it's only a mile from my house, but I'd rather drive 5 extra miles to another Dollar General than have to walk in that Stokesdale store with a "so called" manager that acts rude to customers and rude to employees in front of customers!!! I'll give it a low score just because of the manager. He ruins my whole experience with the way he treats other human beings. Someone needs to have a come to "Jesus"meeting with him.

Been in twice. Both times purchased items on sale BUT when run up on the register they came up the regular prices! They made it right when I drove back to the store the ist time and gave me my credt (Totaling around twenty dollars!) haven gone back on this one YET! SO I suggest watch your receipt and prices CLOSELY!

Dollar General is a lovely establishments off in the middle of nowhere but it the cashier was lovely and they didn't mind helping me with things although it was like four or five things that I couldn't find which would have annoyed me but it didn't annoy the clerk he helped me with everything I needed he didn't mind

This place has the worst checkout service ever. The manager and her friends pay no attention to you standing in line and just go outside and smoke in front of the building and leave you standing there.

Dirty, unorganized store. Nothing on shelves. Goods on dirty floor in aisles. Sure they will at some point be put back on shelves for someone not knowing to buy.

It's really nice when a cashier escorts you to a product you can't find as opposed to just pointing a finger. Hire more cashiers like this!
