Mark and his team are great. I took up way too much of their time asking newbie questions and for advice. They never seemed to be impatient and gave me a dollar's worth of free advice. No egos, all info. ALL of the employees are knowledgeable and eager to help. Mark went well out of his way to research info if he didn't already know the answer. The whole team helped me decide which pew pew to go home with. The prices on their firearms are quite competitive too. Couldn't be happier with my purchases.AO will be my first stop anytime I'm in the market for a firearm. A+

Mark and his entire staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable when I’ve completed purchases here or just looking around. Best shop around, recently took a WWII weapon in just so they could help me identify some markings and confirm a few other questions I had, where else are you gonna find that kind of service. This is absolutely the best Gun Shop I’ve ever been to! The prices are always fair and the staff are super courteous, and helpful! I also appreciate the wide variety of pistols and rifles. One time they didn’t have what I wanted in stock, but they ordered it for me, and it arrived quickly.

Visited today to mainly just see what they had, and will definitely be back again. Great prices, large selection of accessories, parts, holsters, and most importantly, long guns, antique, and handguns.The gentlemen working were very helpful and cool to talk about stuff with. Great "atmosphere" if you will...kinda like a barbershop thing but for us gun guys (and gals). Also were very helpful on options if you aren't sure what you are looking for.

Been a customer for several years, since they opened the store on 58 by 220 before the move to it's current location. Mark and his associates have always been friendly and knowledgeable. One of the best purchase experiences I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend Mark and his team. I was looking for a particular rifle back in March, and checked with many local gun shops, and across my area and beyond. Others told me none available, and unknown when would be available, and no follow up. But, not Mark, he kept checking with his supplier, following up with me frequently, and continued to work to get me exactly what I wanted. I got it today! Nice! Great shop, great people, outstanding service. I’ll be going back for future needs, even though it’s almost an hour from my house, with others closer. Well worth the trip!! Thanks Mark!!!

This place is unusual in my experience of gun stores in that they are super friendly and helpful. They will leave you alone to browse or give you helpful guidance, whatever you want. They ordered a purse from Gun Totin Mamas for me and helped me get the carry pistol I wanted. I will definitely continue to go here for all my firearm needs. I noticed they also sell some shoes and purses in addition to gun accessories so its even more fun to browse. Their selection of guns is great.

These guys are all outstanding! Whether you’re an experienced gun buyer or a newbie, I have seen them handle both with exceptional service and always a great attitude. Compared to other gun stores within 150 miles, they are usually hard to beat for the same firearm. They’re always friendly, answer any questions and follow up when they say they will. Kind of a hidden gem, if you will, for firearms stores. About the only store that can compete with them is ProShots for price and service. Definitely worth the drive to Stokesdale!

From my first call to Atlantic Outdoors to the conclusion of service, my experience could not have been more pleasant. Very professional, personable and low-key atmosphere. I had new sights installed on my carry piece, which they were able to do while I waited. I felt as important as if I was purchasing the most expensive firearm in the place. The selection of firearms, knives and accessories was impressive and the establishment was spotless. The prices were very reasonable and I would recommend checking this place out. I will be back!

super friendly very knowledgeable. Bought some stuff come to find out wrong holster for my gun. Went back the next day to return it no questions asked even offered to order one for my gun. But I decided to put it towards a gun. Fair priced quality products. Awesome customer service. I will be returning when I’m in the area again!
