The food lion bakery at Clinton rd is awesome! They made my daughters “fire” cupcakes for her firefighter birthday party. They looked amazing and tasted great. We also purchased cookies from the bakery for the party and everyone enjoyed them as well. We had subs in which we got all of the meats from the food lion deli and they were great as well. We were super pleased!

I use the online ordering system weekly. Though most of the shoppers are nice and quick, sometimes I’ve received rotten food or they don’t bother replacing anything. I’ve learned it is different than Walmart and I can interact and ask for replacements. They usually get done with an order early which is sometimes nice but other times not as I may need to add on to an order but then can’t. The main guy who brings out the groceries should get a raise! He is always super friendly and polite!

Evan Soto is very unprofessional and rude. I bought a bag of dog food from refrigerator (Pet Fresh) along with $400 worth of groceries. The dog food didn’t make it home with me for some reason. I drove back to the store and had already spoken with someone about coming to get it. She said it’s already been put back so just come in and get it and show the receipt to customer service. All was good and I was getting ready to leave and Evan Soto who stated he was the manager, rudely came up to me and yanked the receipt out of my hand and started treating me like a thief. He asked ME what happened to the dog food and I informed him that the cashier told me that it was forgotten at the register. He asked who I spoke to and I told him I didn’t know her name. The young lady at customer service tried to tell him about the situation and he said ,”I’m the store manager and I’m going to go view the video of what happened to the dog food.” I was extremely upset at this point and I waved home off and told him to hurry up and view the video cuz I didn’t have all night. After about five to ten minutes I informed the young lady at customer service that he was taking too long and I wasn’t going to wait any longer. I walked out with the dog food and my receipt and left…Evan acted like a disrespectful PUNK and it’s a shame he’s DRUNK with power. No one there has ever been as rude to me as Evan was at this Food Lion. What a shame there’s an unqualified jerk as a manager. SMH

02-07-24 the fresh meat department was torn up. Coolers were mainly empty with very little available. What was there was difficult to get to for employees standing around trying to figure out how to arrange a few packs of steaks. Deli was completely closed. I mean it wasn't there. Some of the usual employees were working around that area and as always were kind and courteous to me, said the department has been closed for a number of days. Aisles were busy with employees either stocking shelves or removing goods at a feverish pitch. Seems like the store is trying to see how confusing it can get. They are remodeling I know but this has lasted for many weeks. Corporate has planned EMBARRASSINGLY poor. Good thing I'm not their boss. Also they wasted a lot of money on self checkouts. Hate them. Took peoples jobs. Food Lion should have spent all of that remodeling money on their employees and better prices for customers. As a senior citizen I only shop every 10 to 14 days. Been shopping the Colt Crossing store for many years. Today I came away with half of my normal supply. Big mess and will not be back for a long time. Still have to make a trip to Hwy 53 for fresh meats. IGA appreciates the business!

Even though it was packed, the employees got customers out as quick as possible.. The checkout lady I had, was not smiling or caring about her job.. She acted like she couldn't hear me or didn't want to.

Clean store, bathrooms are being remodeled, so patience is needed if you are a frequent waterer, only 1 bathroom for both sexes. Staff is quite attentive & pleasant.

The only grocery in town and have gone to self checkout only. Three employees standing infront of store not doing anything but talking. Not even watching people checking out. I will not be back to Food Lion in Stedman NC.

Pretty cool grocery store. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as grocery chains go. The staff were quite personable and the store was clean. Aisle markers are pretty clear and standard and the prices were pretty much average across the board. So, yeah, pretty good place.

I love this Food Lion one of the best in the area. Always stocked and clean, employees are very nice! Not a super busy location so good to go for a quick trip, I rarely wait in line here compared to the other locations.

Tyler was our cashier tonight and he was absolutely terrific to end our shopping with? The young lady who was helping to bag our groceries was great also unfortunately she ran off to help someone else before I could catch her name. Tyler was very engaging with me and my kids even joking around with my 5 yr old. Its hard to find good people in customer service now a days it seems but I would definitely wait a little long to deal with him then jump in an empty line that says enough on its on in my opinion!!! Good job Food Lion for having staff that makes you want to leave a great review and keep up the great work Tyler!

Store is always clean and staff has always been friendly. If something isn’t on the shelf you want or need, an employee will go check the back for you. Manager is also very helpful.

I have shopped here since I moved to Stedman in 2017. But continuously the prices that are listed for items are not what they are ringing up at the reregister. I know prices are rising, but if you want a cheat people at least put the prices that they're supposed to be when we get to the register. Managers why don't you check the price of the Black Label bacon beside the meat department's door. You will see it says $3.99... you consistently charge $4.49 at the register. I don't check all of my other items but I'm sure that's the same problem. I think I'm done shopping with you guys. I like stores that have the prices that I'm going to pay. When you don't do your jobs you are stealing from the public. I shouldn't have to cause a scene at the register for a dollar.... Or go through every item that I buy and take a picture of the price listed on the shelf just to make sure that at the register I'm being treated fairly. I spend $200 on average because the prices are wrong.

This Food Lion is the only store in my community, so don't have much choice when it comes to convenience.But the staff is really nice and helpful. And like everywhere else prices are not great.

Convenient location, typically a great staff. However, this morning I was very disappointed with checking out. A staff member came over to help the cashier bag because I had a lot of groceries. When I was done she rolled her eyes and said "next time get another buggie". I am not sorry that me shopping for my family of 5 inconvenienced your morning. Poor customer service is a great way to lose business but I do hope your rude comment made you feel better.

This location has great deals on my monthly needs, is always clean, and has never been out of stock on things you would normally need. They earned their fifth star because the staff is always friendly and I personally have never seen them doing anything negative. Good staff, especially when under pressure, makes a world of difference.

The employee are very helpful and friendly. I feel very welcome when I go there it's always clean and net.and when you have a question they will answer it I had a question about some meat I was going to purchase. The gentleman that was working the meat counter took the time out to help me and answered all my questions and then right back to work he went. I will say they must have a great manager. Because all the employees are great people

This is my go-to Food Lion. I know most of the staff by now and everyone always has a smile and a friendly word. The quality of the deli and produce section is outstanding. Everything is always fresh. The baked goods are delicious and the shelves are always stocked. I also love the fact that Food Lion is branching out and is selling items that you don't usually find in other places. Love that store! Love Food Lion!

This trip was fruits, veggies, breads and fast little meals.They had a new area for cooked wings.I actually saw several different areas that wasn't there last time I went.Checkout was quick.No problems at all. Nice trip.

Good store for shopping for food. The baker was so nice she took the time to show me where a certain food was because it wasn't where it should be. We found the tag and they were out. She said they deliver the next day try then.

Masks are mandatory in NC!! Yet I went into this store and many weren’t wearing them. There were several employees that weren’t wearing them. I saw a manager that didn’t have one on and another manager that had it over his mouth but not his nose. This is not ok. When I called to question his response was “ We can’t make people wear them”. Yes you can. There are many high risk people in this world who travel to your store to shop because there is a mask mandate and they have a sense of safety, a false one. If you don’t care about your employees or customers safety, what does this say about you as an establishment? I have written a letter to corporate and reached out to officials about this. The reviewer before me even stated that she wasn’t asked to put one on. Do better Food Lion!! 135,000 Americans have died and you aren’t willing to enforce the mandate to protect your employees and customers? Why?

Thank you James and the bakery dept !! I need a cake for an baby shower on less than 24 hour notice and you help me out. Thanks to the nice lady who gave me my cake when I picked it up at 7:30 am and also changing out decor or cupcakes. Great Customer service!! I will make sure I give a 24 hour notice from now on.
