In a small town like Stedman a Dollar General with groceries and basic amenities is appreciated. IGA only covers so much and Food lion lines are crazy at times. I can always stop here for things to tie us over until we hit town for bulk items and other needs. Prices are decent. I recommend their app for coupons! The staff is friendly and you can save on gas using a giftcard. They carry more than you think. We snagged our Easter egg dye kit here recently.

My favorite dollar general by far, staff aren't pushy or always thinking ur stealing and will assist you even if you need the bathroom key!!!! They're willing the assist you without any attitude... Also u can get away with "typing it manually" if you catch my drift.. if u know, u know.I'd advise you to get ur things here with indeed satisfaction

Gas ⛽️ horrible. Tried to get gas. Was already late for work. Restricted my card at gas pump and denied my card at register. Went to a Shell 7-10 minutes away. No problem. Waste of time in my opinion. Improve gas logistics please. Thank you.

The cashier's are always prompt and courteous. The store is always clean and stocked. Love how they make sure everything is fronted. So? When I take a product.....Iake sure to front that spot. Lol! True story.

This Dollar General is pretty organized. I love the convenience of being able to purchase gas and groceries here as well. The CSRs can be a little slow at times. They have no sense of urgency. Lines can get long quick. Overall though its a one stop shop which makes it work for me.

I'm so glad we have this store in our small town. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the store is clean. It has saved me many trips into town.

Was a bit put off when I asked about the price of something that had no price tag, didn't even bother to help me find a price tag, left stuff and walked out. Alsolutely floored me with the inconsideration, this is the first time at this store that has ever happened.

Always clean. Staff are friendly and ready to help. A positive peaceful vibe everytime you walk into the store. And they also have gas which is great.

Has a great selection of frozen food, dairy products, eggs, milk, lunch meats, fruits, vegetables, a meat section, along with standard household goods. I shop here every week.

I sent my daughter in to shop for me. I had a digital $5 coupon. When she asked how to put in my phone number, the cashier's response was I don't know. My daughter said he didnt know and didn't care to ask another cashier. I lost out on my $5 coupon.

The employees are very friendly and helpful. Dollar General sells many more items than they used to so it's my go to store between major shopping trips.

Stedman is a small community and Dollar General knows it and they are always willing to help. This is the second time we have a fundraiser at the Dollar General and the whole staff there is always welcoming us with open arms!! Patty the Manager is awesome, she is so nice and always willing to help the Cubs! Thank you so much Dollar General for being part of our community and helping the kids raise money for their camping trips and activities.

Walked in and got yelled at from across the store...."just cause you put clean clothes on does not mean you are allowed back in my store!" I am not from North Carolina. I am from Iowa. I have never been kicked out of any where (except for the mini golf place when I was 17 for throwing the club and cussing but that was in Iowa) I was so embarrassed I wanted to crawl under a shelf and die. But nope I started yelling back that I was not from here and I am on vacation and I got an apology. "Cause as soon as I talked she could tell I want from round here"

I love this Dollar General, its my Walmart. I come here for everything including gas. Its not a mess and the staff is friendly. Just a good ol country store.

I really love this Dollar General. They have everything especially fresh meats, veggies and fruits at an amazing price. They also sale low priced gas! AMAZING!!!!

Good layout. Can be a quick in and out or you can take your time to shop a little. Pretty budget friendly.

This place uses to be a Wal-Mart neighborhood market or what ever they called them. They moved out and two things happened. 1. Dollar General move in from acorss the street. 2. Auto Zone moved into the old Dollar General. We now have a Dollar General that sells food, gasoline, diesel, and the rest of the things you would find at a regular Dollar General and an Auto Zone in Stedman NC! THANKS WAL-MART!

This one has a produce section. Not like the other dollar generals who find a plot of land 100 miles from anywhere and set up shop in a field but yet somehow still busy.
