I called the meat department for some ribeye steaks. Greg answered my questions in a professional, courteous manner. My steaks were pretty; cut an inch thick as I had requested. They were a little smaller than imagined, but that wasn't a problem. I will continue shopping here as long as the service stays this good!! 🙂

I always enjoy going to Stedman and this IGA I enjoy going in there because it's a small store it's hometown store and I enjoy buying different items there and I will continue to do so whenever I go that way I thank them for being there for so many years

Been shopping here since 2016.the owner and employees were always happy and helpful. Since the sale there's a noticeable change. The eliminate of prior popularity of products that draw the demographic of the area to shop there . This is also caused a drop in people who come when they have seen price increases and meat quality and verity drop. This is a great example of the corporate mentality "its about the profits not the people or the community " the old saying is you really didn't know what you had till it was gone. Really miss Carroll's IGA also what happened with the old employees they knew the regular customers. Was there today 6/30/23 thought it was closed no body really holiday weekend, use to be very busy what's happening???????? I have nothing more to say on your web site. I use to shop there often since the sale I have $50.00 left on a$100.00 gift card. I think you should have listened to the previous owner of how he made it so special.

When it was Carroll's Iga it was The only place I buy my food. Their meats are always fresh. The owner and employees are always nice and courteous i still go there now even though its not Carroll's anymore. However they need to make sure the butcher label the sausage correctly so when you buy mild its mild not HOT!!😤

Caroll's IGA had the best Meats in the county . Staff were friendly and helpful. Carlie C's took over and ruined the business. The fresh sausage is mostly fat , other meats are a joke as well. Now I have to travel to get groceries. Thanks for destroying the only thing Stedman had .

I love shopping at Carroll's the owner goes out of his way to be helpful,even taking groceries out to your car. All the employees are super nice. I wish I could remember the butchers name, he is a awesome guy, reminds me of a old friend of mine.But now let's talk about the fresh local produce it is so good. Then there is the meats,so fresh and cut beautifully the meat prices are hard to beat too,especially if they are on sale. I love the fresh link sausage. They also carry lots of local BBQ sauces. My favorite is Red Neck BBQ lab sauces

Formally Carroll's IGA which had better prices on meats! I didn't know of the buyout and the prices are ridiculous now! Otherwise, the store is nice and clean, has adequate parking and employees are very nice!

Good place for groceries you don't need no devil discount card like it Food Lion and the meat can be cut right there in front of you. Hell yeah I'm still saying this

Very clean and organized store. Excellent variety of N.C barbecue sauce. Good display of fresh vegetables and fruits. I mostly like the meat selection. They tend to carry a more variety of cuts than most stores. Their beef and pork cook up very well. If you do collards, they have the best hammocks I've been able to find. Nice staff, always polite and helpful. Always good deals at IGA. Support your locals!

Today's visit was to take advantage of the sale on boneless pork loin. Been waiting for it😊. While I waited on the butcher to slice my order, I found other great buys on ribs and chicken. Everyone was friendly, respectful and efficient. Can't miss. Make it your neighborhood grocer!

Great prices on meat and good sales on other items. Friendly and helpful staff! Was looking for Pesto and the clerk went out of his way to see if you sold it. You don't, but his kindness was very welcoming!!

They have beautiful meats and the owner does everything in his power to ensure his customers have what they need when some type of disaster hits out community. Truly blessed to say that I have been a patron of this establishment for most of my life.

Snotty cashiers, didn't know the prices of plants and really rude when you ask d them. Meat that I bought at premium price I had to feed to my dog because it was so grissily, was very disappointed with quality of meat and service, don't think if I had a choice I would go again.... don't want to hear about who you "did it with" while checking out, and sure don't need to be disrespected by telling me " well take it or go somewhere else", very, very unprofessional, sorry I didn't like the meat cuts, was bad.and then to try and discuss it was nearly impossible, if this is hometown pride don't want to know this home town, will not go again

It over all was good. The lettuce looked a little bit rugged but haven't compared it to other stores this year. The prices as always were good. Cashier a little distracted. But over all it was fine. Some times you never know what's going on behind the scenes and I am aware of that.

Another nice friendly family grocery store. Great prices Great food . Been shopping here for years another small family store we all need to help support before the big stores take over and run them out of business. By the way if don't have it just ask Allen Carroll he he will do everything possible to please you . He can even get hogs , whole or half and will cut your meat to your preference. Just pull in a try it ! I have never got a hog or any meats from there that wasn't GREAT !!!!!!!

I love that their meat is fresh. The meat bundles are perfect for large families and they also have "Pick 5 for $49.95". I have managed to save somewhere between $12 & $15 every time I go for that deal.

They're always stocked with meat! We live in Grays Creek so we go twice a month to stock up. Very nice staff very helpful and friendly. I will continue to drive 30 minutes because you always feel welcome!😊

One of the best experiences I have buying groceries, is at Carrolls IGA in Stedman, NC.The staff is friendly, the store is clean, they offer local produce and the prices are very reasonable. Most meats are not pre-packaged, fresh cuts and don't have labels that cover the product.Staffers are very personable and will actually take time to have a good conversation.

This is the best place to get different cuts of meat. My husband and I always go and grab a bundle plus extras. They are incredibly nice which is awesome. Just give them a try they are more than worth it!

Uneducated, loud, and unkind words from cashier about people who use EBT. I personally don't use EBT benefits anymore but I grew up in a home where it was the only way I could eat as a child at times. People go through hardships and it's not cool to judge.
