I needed to find a med in short supply so my doctor would know where to send the prescription. After calling two other local Walgreen pharmacy's who stated that they were out of stock, this Davie Ave. Walgreens pharmacy stated that they could not give me that information. They stated that the doctor would have to send a Rx then they would tell him. My doctor's office told me to find out what pharmacy had the medication and he would send the Rx there. Doctor's have too many patients to send prescriptions to many pharmacy's for each patient only to find out they are out of stock and continue the search.This is a denial of the patients timely access to care/treatment needed. I do not recommend this pharmacy when there are other local Walgreens who put patients first by cooperating to get them the information needed for timely pharmaceutical treatment.

Walgreens on Davie Ave is the absolute worst. Get different answers from different people. Was told I could pick up a prescription after 12:00 today. I was just there and was told to Dr hasn't sent it in. How was in there yesterday and not today? BY THE WAY, THIS PRESCRIPTION IS NOT FOR ME.

We have been using Walgreens on Davie Ave. For over 25 years now and we understand that it can be busy the day after a holiday. But they made my husband who is disabled wait for over 2 hours for one prescription!!! That was ridiculous and uncalled for!! The pharmacy should know when they are going to be busy and put extra help on!! We are extremely disappointed in them!! Do better next time Walgreens!!! Timothy and Julie Ritchie

The store pick up orders is a mess! They constantly do not fill orders which result in partial refunds but yesterday they not only did not refund what was overpaid due to out of stock but they charged my card double the total that was paid! Customer service claims they could not see it on their end and said will receive email with updates. No more dealing with Davie store online orders. Have too many issues when I do and unable to shop in store without a store rider to ride on. Repeated unhappy customer, bye walgreens!

It would be so much better if they were 24 hour like some of the other Walgreens, and would be awesome if they carried my medication all the time instead of just sometimes because they aren't allowed to order enough for ALL of their patients.......

Pro tip: Do not visit any Walgreens Pharmacy. Especially this one or the other location on East Broad. Both locations have techs that don't know what they're doing. And when you're in the actual store shopping they will have you wait in line for 15 minutes before they decide to call on help. I can't state how much I despise these pharmacies enough. I've switched pharmacies because I and many others I know have had such a bad experience with Walgreens!

Pharmacy technician was EXTREMELY rude when I called to find out why my prescription was a different price than what I was told yesterday. My fiance was in the store trying to get information and got nowhere so I decided to call and as soon as she answered the phone she had an attitude, when I asked why she said (very loudly) 'uhm because I don't understand the question! ', in which she should've asked me to rephrase, not become agitated because she was confused.And on that note, my fiance (mentioned above) was in the pharmacy line (after being there over an hour because they couldn't get it right), heard her yelling at me. There is absolutely no excuse. Will be switching stores.

This rating is based solely upon the pharmacy. The wait time may be long during busy hours but they've never messed up my prescriptions unlike some of the other pharmacies in this area. The retail store is okay, they have everything you probably need but you should probably not expect to spend less than 2 minutes inside. People enjoy complaining about wait lines but if you don't have the time, don't go inside it's really quite simple Walmart has self service check out options if you're really in such a big hurry. I'm happy taking my time at Walgreen's because I know they know what they're doing behind that cash register, I've been going here long enough.

Services sucks!!! I went In to send money through Western Union. I filled out the info stood there and waited 4 minutes for someone to acknowledge me, which the associate sent me to the front to wrong person, who sent me back to the printing booth. The associate called for helped, I literally sat and waited another 6 minutes for the manager to come from the office to walk right pass me and disappeared. 6 minutes I walked back to the front to let the cashiers know that no-one helped me and then I left. I feel like the store wasn't busy enough for me to be ignored for 16 minutes +. What happened to customer service??

Was the second person in line in the drive thru and waited over 45 minutes to even speak to anyone. Called and rang the help button with no answer for over 20 minutes. It’s usually a bad experience but today was exceptionally awful. The customer service is nonexistent at this store. I will now be driving 10 minutes farther to get my prescriptions elsewhere and I’ll still save time.

Always waited forever every time we've went here! Called on our way, they said it was ready, waited in line 45 minutes for them to tell us rx wasn't ready, we weren't moving, said they were going to call the law.... BTW, the phone call saying it was ready was recorded on my dash camera.... smdh.... done with this place, but you have been warned!!

Slowest service ever! I waited a half hour in the drive thru and then another half hour in the store for a prescription?! The pharmacist hadn’t even started on it the second time I asked! The techs were slow and obviously so overwhelmed. Unacceptable service.

The white woman working the drive through pharmacy on Wednesday November 29 approximately 7:30p.m was disrespectful and removed herself from the window without excusing herself. She went to get another employee to assist with my granddaughters medication. Will not use this Walgreens again and will file a formal complaint with corporate.

Would give 0 stars if i could. I switched over from kmart when they closed down, and every month i have problems getting my same heart failure prescriptions. (Not like its nothing serious or anything (SARCASTICALLY)) They always forget one, say they dont have the refill or my favorite give me the wrong persons scripts bc "it was the same address". Worst walgreens ever and totally unprofessional.Update: Here years later, AND THEYRE STILL THE WORST PHARMACY EVER!!! Better off going to CVS!!!

I love this store... it's my 'go to' for odd quirky things I can't find any where else. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Last year one of the clerks chatted me up and when I mentioned a planned trip and my daughter's car sickness, she showed me a small device they sell (elastic bands) that really worked! What a godsend! I'm so grateful she talked to me! - So glad this Walgreens is here.

This is a horrible pharmacy since they changed from Rite aid to Walgreens. I can understand losing prescriptions during the changeover. But when you go back and take them 2 more paper prescriptions for the next couple months, they tell you, we don’t have the next one, it’s lost!! They said, that’s just too bad, we don’t keep prescriptions. What is going on here? You are a pharmacy, where’s the prescription? You threw it in the trash? Totally unacceptable! Now, it’s Friday and the Doctors office is closed and my husband is without his medication until Monday because of this place. What happened to his prescription?? Corporate will be notified. We are changing pharmacies immediately. What did you do with his prescription??

It would be great if they would stop filling my prescription wrong every month. Do you all not communicate. Every month I get the same thing heck I’ve even started lowering it and am down to 7 strips and you can’t fill it correctly. How do you forget this it’s every month! I’m sick of having to do your job and make several calls and trips to the pharmacy and go to east broad street then mooresville the davie ave because you all can’t get it together. I literally explain it in detail and you all say ok we can do that then it comes time and you still fill it wrong. Make a sign!!!! I’m tired of the problems . I can’t stop this medication like that it takes time yet you can’t even do what you’re being paid to do!!!

I would give no stars if possible. The pharmacist are uneducated and rude. I will not return. I should have known they are not there to help people when I seen beer and cigarettes in the store. The FDA identifies Red 3 & red 40 as carcinogens and the pharmacist somehow lack that knowledge.

This pharmacy stays on top of things pretty good, I've never waited for more than 30 minutes max for any prescription! Very friendly but if you don't have insurance, be careful of these prices.

Asked a question and the pharmacist rolled her eyes at me. I left everything and said forget it and walked out. Will never be back at this location. If you are to sorry to answer a question because you are dumb and don't know what someone is asking you don't need to be working there.

The website says they opens at 8, the door says they opens at 8, even the automated voice when you call says they open at 8. There are 5 cars out her with me at 8:30 and it’s still not open.
