This store had a good selection of women's shores however they have very limited stock of furniture. Their clothing selection is sometimes very good. I could find a CK jacket for half the price which most other stores officer. Even there was a good deal on Crocs.

TJ Maxx is pretty much the same no matter which one you go to. The main difference being the cleanliness and upkeep of the store location. Wow this location does its best to keep its merchandise on the shelves and off the floor they are failing in several areas

TJ Max Statesville was okay but seemed small and not a lot to choose from.. The aisles were in a little disarray. I give the store 4 stars because the employees were nice and helpful.

Absolutely love shopping here! Although I will make sure to never do it on Christmas Eve again (lololol), they have a great selection, good employees and they always have new stuff everyday. You can go in there for one thing and come out with 5 other things you didn't even know that you wanted but absolutely love!

I normally don't leave reviews, think I've left 3 in my lifetime. So, with that being said. Employees are nice and respectful WHEN you buy something, but try to return, not so nice. The first time, I had a return, they act like I switched jewelry out, just because I thought the earrings were clip on, but understood. Second time, I purchased my husband a CAT (Caterpillar Equipment) shirt, and they act like they didn't sale CAT shirts, and act like I was trying to pull one over on them, and was very disrespectful. TODAY, which was what sent me over, and upset me the most. I returned a $19.99 jumpsuit, to the employee "Shera" I think, I have the sales receipt. She asked me if I had worn the outfit!!! She acted like I was lying!!!! Its been in my back seat for a week in a bag yes, but continue looking at me like I'm scum for returning something, and acting like I've worn the clothing was really offensive. Then she continued pointing to something about the clothing to another employee. I am not sure what!! If I have to take an outfit back AFTER wearing it, for $19, then I have a problem. SO disrespectful!! I shop here with clients, and on my lunch breaks, but never will go in that store again! I have never been so offended!!Might want to review return policies with employees because I was treated like complete trash for returning something I fairly purchased and DID NOT EVER WEAR!

Not the best TJ Maxx store in NC. However it's not the worst. I have found women's clothing in the men's section every time I visit this store. Not sure what the issue is when the clothing is clearly marked women's. Make sure you double check the clothing before you purchase it. Could save you a return trip.

The first time I went into the store with my daughter a few weeks ago. There was a Hispanic lady following me around fumbling through the racks in front of me, I went to the next asie she was there and then proceeded to follow me to the checkout counter and wants to ring up my purchase it only like 80$.She was a store manager. Probably Maria or something. Then today this, morning after my 16 hours. There are two employees following me around mind you I have on my work scrubs my work badge on and everything. Ran in just to get secret Santa gifts. Like I don’t steal I guess my skin was a problem. It’s the only store in statesville the seem to follow me. I guess the worker bees love my honey brown skin that’s why the are buzzing around. Two times was enough.

I took a blouse back that I paid for and for some reason, the upc number was different on my receipt and i was told that I could get store credit by the cashier. I paid for 6 items that day and had 6 items on the receipt. It wasn't until I told her to get a manager bc I wasn't going to be forced to shop there to use that money after my item was not on the receipt or different. It made me not want to shop there and this was the first purchase I had made in this place . If I get out of a store and find I haven't paid for something, I go back and pay for it. This made me look like I had stolen this blouse. I'm not sure I'll ever buy things here ever again.

Great selection of off price clothing, shoes, bath and body, fragrances, cookware, housewares, etc. All at discount pricing. Social distancing, masks are worn and not. Near other fabulous stores in the same categories for the competition in us all.

I LOVE this Statesville TJMaxx even though we moved from Statesville to Hickory a year ago.I'm super disappointed in the Hickory store. It's messy and not nearly as nice to shop in.I went yesterday to Statesville and bought 2 pair of buttery soft leggings, 2 tops for playing pickleball outside so they're long sleeve, soft and fluid for non restrictive play. I bought a wooden picture frame, a ss strainer, black pepper mill, macadamia nuts, macaroons and slippers! All of this AND they were busy stocking the store with new merchandise and I never felt like I couldn't find anything. Always neat and easy to find what you may or may not be looking for.Thank you Statesville TJMaxx employees!! 👍🏻

The shelves are filling up fast. Great buy on shoes today. And I feel safe...very friendly lady at front to offer cleaned carts, signage reminding every to wear a mask and directional signs clearly marked. And everyone was wearing a mask. If every store was as careful, and all customers respected these rules for the next few weeks, I believe we could progress till the only person having to wear a mask would be the Lone Ranger

You know why I hate this store, because everytime I go it knows what I need and want and I always end up with the cutest mugs, leggings, makeup brushes, sweaters and a bag. Come on txmaxx I'm trying to save 😅 i personally love it there.

We were passing through Statesville NC and stopped at this TJ MAXX. It has to be the cleanest, most organized TJ Maxx I’ve ever shopped at. And the staff on the floor and at the registers are so friendly and happy to be there. Such a great experience.

Store was nice upon walking in but unable to find various things now also went to purchase a shirt that was in the clearance aisle same exact price as the shirt next to it but they would not give it to me on clearance because the sticker had came off we are talking a $6 discount and would not honor it and as I know from working in retail that if you bring it to the manager's attention they are supposed to give it to you at the price in the area it was listed and there was much more than one of the item and they did not she was very abrupt and rude and said no it's not on sale so therefore I will be taking my business to another t.j. Maxx and hope that they are not as abrupt and rude and unwilling to help a paying customer

My favorite TJMaxx store! I have friends in the Hickory area, that come here to shop THIS store. Always a good selection of items. Store is neat and tidy. Always greeted nicely at the cashier. A fun shopping experience.

I was disappointed that my daughter's couldn't use my sale on her card. For points that are collected. Otherwise it is a nice store prices are decent. Employees are so so. Not overly friendly.

Hardly had a selection of undershirts/plain t-shirts. Long line for the registers. When I got to the register the cashier kept telling me and trying to convince me to get a tj maxx credit card after I told her no multiple times. It's like she ignored was I was saying and kept trying to get me to. Would not turn the card machine on so I could pay until I told her I'll go to another register if you don't let me pay and leave. This is harassment. When I finished paying and got my receipt she brought up the card again. I told her I've had enough. Have a good day. She got an attitude and smacked her lips. Do the employees get a kick back for how many people they have sign up or something? Holy cow. The lady acted like it was life or death for that card. Come on now.

If the cashier that checked me out hadn't been so amazing and just kind I would of gave less than 1 star this store would be given the worst negative review possible. SCREW YOU for following me around like I was going to steal. I know people do but ,why of all the people did I get practically everyone you had on patrol following me pushing a massive cart ,full of everything I purchased also spending alot of money.. what I should of did was tell you how rude you had been and not bought a thing and I WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN.

Love me some TJ Maxx just some of their employees who stock shelves are extremely rude. That being said if you can't find something don't ask them they will snap and act like you are causing them to do something that's not in their job description and that's a NO NO
