We didn't do any tour of the farm/ranch itself, but the whole property and facility was beautiful and extremely well kept. Inside, the staff was super welcoming and accommodating of our kiddos. The kids loved seeing some of the animals indoors, especially Opal the corn snake. Outside, we stayed at the playground for a few hours. Most of the time I have to worry about playgrounds having areas that my toddler can't play on safely, but there's something for all kids in this space. The playground itself is huge and has plenty of entertaining options for toddlers, as well as big kids. Additionally, the playground area is fenced in, which makes it easy to keep an eye on kiddos. Will definitely be frequenting this ranch this year!

Great place for a field trip! Educators were extremely informative, playground was huge with wide variety of play areas, and having 4 station rotations made a very organized, great way to spend the time.

Such a wonderful organization doing really amazing things! I had such a great time learning about and getting to interact with the different animals and other critters here. The staff are all such knowledgeable and kindhearted individuals too — it was just an overall great experience. :)

I am SO pleased with the experience we had here. The people that work there are SO nice and pleasant to be around. Maddy was an absolutely amazing tour guide. All of the animals had wonderful habitats. Plenty of room to run around and get exercise. You can tell they treat them like they are their family pets and not just animals. They were very knowledgeable about every single animal. She told us every single one of their stories about how they got there. I absolutely recommend this place.

The Rescue Ranch has a cool vibe. It was used for a child's birthday party, and experiencing the animals up close was great for the kids and adults both. The staff brought out a ginuea pig and a bunny for the kids to stroke. It was truly fun!

Loved this place! We celebrated our 3 year old at RR and she loved every minute of it. From the playground to the hand feedings and animal petting. Ask her friends loved it too! Not to mention all of us moms were loving the playground too! I saw a mom friend sliding on the zip line and we were all fighting for turns on the swings. What a great experience! The staff is fantastic too!One suggestion: Bring a rolling cooler with drinks down to the playground if you’re hosting a party and the weather is warm. We did by chance and it was a lifesaver cause the kids did not want to leave even though they were hot and sweaty!

We were invited to a birthday party for our first visit to the RR. Good times. Very hot today with beautiful weather. The party had the side door open to bring in food and presents. I slid into the building that way. I was in a few minutes and made my way to the front desk to sign in. The staff member said she was on the way to see me as she recognized that I was not signed in. I had seen her pop into the back room several times as the party carried in supplies. Security seems great for a kid friendly business. At any rate... Kids all had a great time. Animals were all cute and seemed to be well taken care of. My granddaughter had a great time. Great times are good but so is Security with children. Have a great fun day as you visit this wonderful facility!

Ryan Newman is my #1 driver and I love animals, so this was very cool to see in person. Beautiful facility, lucky rescued animals, friendly and informative staff. Great new all-inclusive playground that kids off all abilities can use. What a gem for their community. Highly recommend you visit here. Call in advance for a tour, $5 donation but give more if you can, they love volunteers and it's a great cause. :) Follow them on Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Great playground. It was a hot day, so some sort of water sprinkler or splash pad would be a nice edition. There are some shaded areas to sit, though.

If you’re looking for a wonderful outing, check out the Rescue Ranch in Statesville. Our Co-Op went today and we had a fabulous visit. It’s absolutely worth the drive. Beautifully run non-profit animal rescue, friendly and easy to work with staff, homeschool programs and group rates available. Also an amazing inclusive playground and top notch facilities overall. All proceeds support the rescue. Check it out!

We went to the rescue ranch for their dogtoberfest from 11:00 to 4:00.Well I'm sure the rescue ranch itself is a fantastic place this event was only slightly entertaining as we got there when it was opened there was nobody to check us in at the table we had a stand around for a short time and then it was just total confusion from the people wandering around the sign up desk.Parking was basically chaotic as well with nobody in the field to guide you or show you where you were supposed to go there were cars parked 6 in apart and 6 ft apart cars parked in front of other cars blocking them and blocking the exit rows you would think for an event of this magnitude there would be a few people out in the field showing the daily drivers of the Charlotte Metro area how to park on grass but that was not the case.Lastly we really thought an event this size would have more than about a dozen vendors minus the food people.

My kids have been raving ALL DAY about how awesome this place is!We just started attending the homeschool club and my kids are begging to go back!The staff was very organized and friendly. The kids couldn't wait to tell me everything they learned. I'm so happy we decided to add this into our homeschooling.

We had my daughter's birthday party at Rescue Ranch and it was amazing! The staff were amazing and really helped keep everything in order. The cost was very reasonable and we feel good supporting the cause. :)

We had a birthday party for my 3 year old at the ranch. Everyone really seemed to enjoy the party. The kids liked getting to see and touch the animals. The staff were friendly. The facility was very clean and well maintained.

My toddler absolutely loves the beginner buddies program. He asks constantly to go to “animal class”. The activities are perfect for the little ones.

I love Rescue Ranch! The begginer buddies program they have is so much fun. There's crafts, animal friends, story time, and at Easter an egg hunt. The people who work there are fantastic. Now if only we could get there when it wasn't a gloomy rainy day so we could see all the outdoor animals and play on the awesome playground! The playground has the bouncy bottom rather than dirt or mulch, and has great climbing equipment and swings for young kids.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great variety of animals for kids to learn about. Lots of summer camp activities. Great place for picnic although quite sunny. Bring your sunblock/hat. Fantastic playground, disability accessible.

Went with my sons class on a trip here. Very informed info on their animals. The kids got to hold and pet several animals they brought out and talked about. Walked the trail and the kids had a blast on the playground and petting and feeding the animals outside.
