My wife and I wanted to stop in for a sandwich as we love Groucho’s! We are from Columbia SC visiting to see family and potentially move up here in the future. Everyone in here is so friendly and so nice. We were served pretty quickly and the food was delicious. Our server, Beth was incredible and made sure we were more than taken care of. We will definitely be back and hopefully enjoy more food here!

I absolutely LOVE Groucho's Pasta Salad, Tuna Cheese Melt and Chicken Salad sandwiches! Also I feel I should give an Honorable Mention for the Chicken Critter sandwich, because it's pretty darn good, too. And of course I have to include how much I freaking LOVE their Honey Mustard Dressing... it is hands-down THE BEST Honey Mustard Dressing I have ever had from ANYWHERE!! And from personal experience, trust me when I say that if you ever have any problems with the food or service, all you need do is bring it to the management's attention, and they will go above and beyond to fix the problem to the best of their ability! I highly recommend everyone try Groucho's Deli the next time hunger strikes! :)

This is a very cool location in downtown Statesville. The location was perfect and of course the food was excellent. We parked just down the road from the restaurant and walked to the restaurant.Groucho's Deli is definitely the place to go for a great sandwich. I am a Ruban fan, and their Ruben was probably one of the tastiest Ruben sandwiches I have eaten. They have their own sause that they make in-house that is just amazing. One of them is like a thousand island dressing but much better, and my husband had their blue cheese sause, which was amazing.When you enter the restaurant you can choose to sit yourself. Menu's are at the table. They do have servers here, which is nice. They do charge for water $0.25. Which isn't bad. The waitress was great, and the food came out quickly. Everyone absolutely enjoyed their sandwiches. The atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable. There are lots of old pictures and memorabilia on the walls to look at. We love going to places like this with so much history. It's definitely worth a stop. You do have to take your bill up to the register when you are done with your meal. Just in case you didn't hear the waitress tell you that when they drop it off. 😆 As I was waiting for the waitress to come back and my husband had told me.If you are in Statesville in the downtown area, I would definitely put this place on your places to go eat. And afterward you can take a nice walk around the downtown area. It's beautiful with so much history.

One word.. whoa! Delivery was extremely fast, the food was perfect upon arrival, and was delicious for everyone. Will definitely be going here more often.

Quick lunch option in downtown, it is fast and yummy. Sandwiches are small for me though maybe because I am used to Firehouse subs/ Publix size.

My FIL came to visit for Christmas and we took him here to eat. His first sandwich was so good, he wanted to go back. As he is a VERY picky eater, we did. Since he returned home to Florida, he keeps telling everyone about his ham and cheese sandwich and he's trying to find an excuse to come visit again.P.S. My sandwiches were good too 😀

Decided to go here for dinner tonight and try something new. I didn't particularly like what I got, but it wasn't because of the food quality, it was just not my thing. I tried the Ruben and I'll steer clear of that from now on. The White Moose is much better! Overall though the meal was good for everyone and no one had any real complaints. Look forward to our next outing here in the future.

When I called my order in I asked for a fresh chicken breast because the last couple of times my chicken has been hard and not been fresh. When I arrive to pick up my salad I look at it and I told the girl that I asked for a fresh chicken breast. She said the other girl said there was nothing she could do about the chicken not being fresh 👀. BABY WHY YOU DIDNT TELL ME SHE WONT GONE GRILL A FRESH PIECE OF CHICKEN CAUSE I WOULD HAVE SAVED MY $4 AND GRILLED ONE MYSELF!!!

We have always loved Groucho's, but even more so recently since our family has tried finding Gluten-free options in town. We have a very picky eater and he loves the GF roll here! They always get our order fulfilled quickly and accurately. It's a small area for dining in, but the staff are always friendly and fast.

Really good Deli. I had an amazing Ruben and the wife said her Club was great. Would definately reccomend for a good sandwich. Staff was also super friendly.
