I bought my first bike here a little over a year ago and have been in many times since for maintenance, accessories, and questions. Every time I’ve gone I’ve been greeted by a friendly staff member that always seem genuinely excited to help me out even when I’m just trying to learn more about this hobby and not spending any money. They have always gone above and beyond to help me out. I wish customer service like you will experience here wasn’t so rare. I highly recommend shopping at Crossroads Cycling Co.

I had purchased a bike at a nearby Goodwill store and was looking for a bike shop to refurbish a pretty rough looking bike with two flat tire and stuck chain. I found their website and called them to get some information and talked to Matt. He was very knowledgeable and friendly on the phone and invited me to bring the bike in. I did and he was just as knowledgeable and friendly in person as he answered my questions and walked me through what they could do and provided an estimate. The level 3 service worked a miracle on the bike! It looks like a new bike - within a week it was completed. I am very proud of the bike and very thankful to Matt and the staff at Crossroads Cycling in Statesville. I highly recommend Crossroads Cycling and they will be my go-to bike shop for all my cycling needs - they did a great job!

Stopped by to get a tire repaired. Guys super nice and friendly. Fixed my problem in a short period of time at a very reasonable rate. I was very happy with the overall experience. I would recommend this shop.

I spent a lot of time researching the bike I wanted before finding the Marlin 6 Gen 2 size small at Crossroads Cycling Co. in Statesville, NC. I had test-ridden two other Treks before driving to Statesville, but hadn't actually ridden a Marlin 6 size small. David suspected right away that I had chosen a bike that I wouldn't be happy with and suggested I test ride it and medium Marlin 5 Gen 2 that was also in stock. I fell in love ... with the Marlin 5. :-)It's a great bike and the Crossroads team is amazing. The shop is well-equipped and ready to help if you have any service or support questions.

This place is a place I recommend not coming to this place for anything! You are overpaying for the service that don’t even last a week or two weeks. They worked on my bike four times and that service hasn’t lasted two weeks

Took my Transition Smuggler in with a tire stem issue (so I thought). I was in a hurry and Matt, if I remember correctly, quickly checked my presta valve, did a once over the whole tire with spray for leaks, put a protective cover on a frayed gear cable, ….all while having a friendly conversation with me about his dog; which also friendly greeted me. Matt returned my bike to me, shook my hand, & said no charge. I definitely will be taking my MTB & road bikes to him for their full service offerings. Great people! Go see them!!

Purchased a Roscoe 7 from them and called them the next business day because the bike was to big for my wife. I asked if there's anything they can do (order a smaller model, change out the wheels to 27.5, etc) and they said it's not their problem that she's having issues. Their not changing out the bike or changing anything to help her unless I pay for it. David (owner) was a nice guy but don't expect good customer service.

Crossroads Cycling Co were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I drove 9 hours from Florida because David, the owner handled all my questions and concerns on a hard to get Ebike that sold out almost everywhere. I had a choice to go to a location that was only 5 hours from me but their customer service over the phone was no where near the quality that I got from David.Tina helped me secure the EBike before taking my trip. She was super helpful and sweet throughout the entire process.From my arrival to leaving with an Ebike, bike pad for my truck, cellphone attachment, 2 air pumps, t shirt, bike locks and a few minor necessities for mountain biking they walked us all the way through. These were things I was looking to purchase from Amazon but instead I was more than happy to support this company's business. At no point during my visit did I ever felt pressured to purchase anything.Tina and David took their time to explained all the details regarding tire removal, helped us installed our bike pad and even charged our ebike while we went for lunch.I believe David and Tina are just genuinely good people. I observed them treat every customer that came through just the same as they treated us, even towards the guy who came in to buy a bike chain oil. That tells you big purchases don't light up their world just good people all around. That's what I loved most about the people at Crossroads Cycling Co.

First day 07/21/2020 I went in an met with Rick he was awesome. He let me test ride some bikes and showed me bikes from $500 to $3000 amazing. So he had me sold on a Marlin 5, I'm 6'4 300lb that was the biggest bike they had to fit me. I said yes I'll put a down payment on it and pay it off later.Fast forward I get a call from David the owner I guess "when are you coming to get this bike" in a voice mail.He calls today 07/31/2020 I pick up David "hello when are you coming to pick up this bike, I have other people looking to buy it". He had my money for a hold, there was no time line set to come pick it up so why was he rushing to give me a refund.Thanks David I was really looking forward to coming back to get a $2000 road bike after purchasing that Marlin 5 . Rick thank you for all of your help amazing. Sorry treks I was looking forward to riding your bikes.

Great place to try out a bicycle. Purchased 2 of the Electra Go CruiserOne of the bikes gave us a problem from the start. The E-Mode was working intermittently. After the 3rd trip to shop the bicycle was replaced under warranty. This speaks highly of Trek and Crossroads Cycling standing behind their product. Lots of wonderful miles have been traveled on the bikes.

This was the first time I had been to Crossroads bike shop. I initially called to see if they had a special size inner tube in stock and much to my surprise, they did! The person who helped me on the phone was very polite and professional. It took him no time to locate what I was looking for. So I swung by after work and wow, what a great shop. They stock bicycles from beginner to ultra performance. I had no idea such a place existed in Statesville. The employee who helped me find the part I was looking for was fast and knowledgeable. My experience from beginning to end was fantastic. I would buy a bike from them in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone looking for a bicycle. These guys are top notch for sure. A real gem right here in Statesville!

With bikes being so in demand right now and so hard to find, I felt like it was fate when in March I was leaving work a county over, and decided to call up Crossroads randomly, where id never been. To my delight, they had just received in a large frame trail bike, and it happened to be the one I had been looking for, the 2021 Trek Fuel Ex 7! They were very nice cool people, they got me a line of credit nearly instantly, got my suspension all set up perfectly, and I left an extremely happy customer. I never go to Statesville, as Hickory, Wilkesboro, and even Lenoir are all closer to me. However, Crossroads is my new favorite bike shop by far, and I will be returning for any accessories and maintenance I may need

I did not have great experience at all! I have a family of 6 and we all have bikes. I was looking for a place to bring them all to get serviced and upgraded and have a HomeTown bike shop. But thanks to piss poor communication, false promises, and a lack luster product, I will gladly dedicate to another bike shop!I dropped my bike off to have several items done and two weeks later, I had one lack luster adjustment performed. They also had the nerve to raise their voice at me as if I'm not a patronizing customer.
