For a small place passing through,me and my husband ordered burgers. I got a cheese burger and it was the beat burger I've ever eaten without having to cook my own at home. That's the way a burger is suppose to taste. They offer picnic style take out with the picnic tables outside under shaded shelter. Was very nice and clean!! I've been stopping at Sammy's on and off for 20 plus years if you are just looking for something quick and easy this is the place! I love his Hotdogs and breakfast sandwiches. He doesn't have dine in but it's a great place to order to go. Plenty of parking especially across the street if you are towing a trailer or RV Easy access off of US 421.

I make sure to stop here whenever I am passing through the area. The food is always good and the service is great. They have some outdoor seating, but no indoor seating. Other than that, a great place to grab some breakfast or lunch!

Oh my word, the food! First of all working in restaurants from the time I was 16 I noticed the incredibly clean kitchen. The staff were so nice. Prices cannot be beat and the food. The buns are grilled and the tater rounds are perfectly crisp. There are pic-nic tables to sit outside. We will be back on our way back through.

Very delicious food! I never have a bad experience here! Sammy and his momma are the sweetest people and make you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door! For those of you who don't know, they do A LOT of charity work....and give to those who are less fortunate. Ms. Gwen would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it!!! I like buying food from there because not only is it delicious, I know some of the proceeds go to good causes!!

Best place for a takeout sandwich or plate. Biscuits in the morning and burgers for lunch -made your way. Counter staff are great. Sammy's blackberry wine cake is fantastic. Got a bbw cake to take to mother's 500 miles away...now have to take one every visit. Everything is yummy here!

Nicest people ever. Had a cheeseburger and crinkle fries that was delicious and better than expected. THE best home brewed tea I've ever had in an Arnold Palmer, or by itself. Other patrons seemed just as content and touted the homemade desserts, which I declined through sheer willpower alone. Will definitely be back here.
