Came with my husband who is working up here. The owner Sami and Mr. Scott have been so friendly and treated me like family. Very clean room. Walking distance to restaurants. Love my renovated room.Rooms: Very cleanNearby activities: Linville CavernsSafety: Plenty of security cameras. Feel very safeWalkability: Nice creek running behind the motel.Food & drinks: Nice grilling area with picnic tables.

horrible experience. after being told our room would be available at the time of arrival (called two times in advance to ensure) we were instead told it wouldn’t be available until 7 hours later. thankful for this! upon arrival we were hesitant to stay there based on looks. you get what you pay for! cancelled the room and booked at Blue Ride Boutique Hotel. 5 stars for them, got us in a room immediately and our entire stay there was great!

Oh wow this place was a trip. Half or so of the rooms are good, and apparently the other half are terrible. I think the rooms pictured are the new and improved ones because we put up some wedding performers here thinking it's close and nice. Boy, we were wrong. It smelled like death, had dirty socks, and suspicious stains on the sheets and blanket. When we wanted a refund he got super angry and acted like a jerk. Don't go here. It's nuts.

Room was nasty and smells of cigarette smoke. We had to go out and buy a shower curtain because the one they had hanging was very nasty and moldy. Tried to shower in the morning with no water pressure or hot water. Description on web was nothing compared to real thing! Would not recommend that anyone stay there. We have ac on lowest setting and room is still warm!Rooms: Very dated and in need of a complete overhaul!Very unclean

My family and I were in for the Alien Festival and this motel was mentioned. We booked two rooms for the weekend. Scott had gotten some fire wood and had a bonfire the Saturday we were in and invited all the guests. He is a good person.The beds were really hard but they are memory foam so it takes a minute for you to sink into them. The shower was awesome but very touchy.Overall, everything was good about this place. The only thing I'd change is the parking lot. But everything else was perfect.

This is not a cute, mountain motel. This is what you think of when you see the price. Room was tiny, chair and blankets were stained. Cable did not work. We could hear the people next door through the wall, talking at a normal volume. There was some kind of greasy film on every surface we touched. We actually left after about half an hour and got another hotel in town.I'm not usually a mean-spirited reviewer. I just got fooled by the pictures, the 4.1 stars and all the positive reviews. It just isn't a great motel. Guy at the front desk was super nice, though.

We stayed one night at this motel in October 2022. We were passing through the area and this was the only place with a vacancy. The hotel room was clean. It's a basic room with a TV, coffee pot, microwave, and a small refridgerator. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It would be nice if the rooms had 2 bath towels per person instead of 1 towel each. The front desk clerk was friendly. The grounds/property were clean. This is an older place, but it was comfortable. The price was resonable.

If I could give zero stars I would. The front desk man was very nice I will give them that. However, our room was dirty and covered in mold. The towels were stained, the bed sheets and blankets had stains, and so did the pillows. We had to go out and buy our own towels, blankets, sheets, and pillows it was so bad. I was extremely disappointed especially since this place had such high ratings. We told the front desk about the mold and he blamed it on the cleaning lady and said they just like to move people in and out and don't check those things.

It’s functional, it’s clean, they’ve got Internet access. In the room I was in it looks like the carpets relatively new. It’s a non-frills place and a non-frills price. Will be back. The bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful. Had a mini refrigerator microwave table and coffee pot.

Traveling to NC to visit family and stumbled upon the charming little place.Cleanliness.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am very picky and thoroughly inspect our hotel rooms when we travel. This place did not disappoint. The smelled very refreshing and immaculate.Customer service… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The owner is awesome and very helpful .He is working extremely hard to make this place amazing and it shows! Great job!Parking access right in front of our room.This is hotel will be our stop when we travel trough NC.Shipping and running within walking distance!

This Motel was everything i needed. Being a traveler I and away from home I was skeptical on staying here however don't be fool by the way the outside of a book looks. These rooms where so cozy and comfortable I slept peaceful and felt safe. I mean ofcourse it may seem a lil out dated but these guys are doing a fantastic job on keeping these rooms up to part. With a few candles and smell good, you're all set. I will surely continue to stay here. Thanks to the Owners they're really Nice and Respectful and Professional and Dont mind looking out.

Not only may but 34 different people have got the same machine text to money every time I just put a quarter in this time just to save that fixed it 3 months later and it still haven't no and we've all told them that it's messed up and they still haven't fixed it so they're not only selling something that's ripping people off and that's something that I'm alive

Most definitely a last resort place to stay. The only amenities the rooms have are half working fridges that won't even keep milk cold. And a molded coffee pot. Every room I've stayed in looked at smelled like it was from the 80s. An I always strip their linens and use my own because the white sheets are pee colored and smell. The pillows have to be 20 years old. Nothing is up to code! They do not have "do not disturb" signs that way it is technically legal for them to enter your room while your gone.. I had one on my door and they came and took it .The oldest owners do not like kids! I repeat...they do not like kids . No vending area at all..

Really enjoyed our 10 day stay in the apartment. Really clean! Loved having a full kitchen to cook in instead of having to eat out all the time. The walls were a bit thin (we could hear someone snoring on the other side of our bedroom), and the last couple of days there was a problem with the water not draining well. All in all, I would stay here again.
