Love this market! Super clean and friendly. The deli meals are some of the best I’ve ever had. Great selection and prices. Gas out front is also priced great and convenient.

Great breakfast, bacon and subs at the deli, good 🍺 beer selection and all the grocery staples including very fresh 🍓🍌🍅🌽 produce. The new updates are amazing with even more bars, 🥡🥠 Asian cuisine, fried 🐔 chicken, pizza, a Starbucks for ☕ coffee and more. They have ♿ handicap accessible parking, restrooms, and seating as well.

I was visiting Spruce Pine from out of town and came down with an illness that required a prescription. On a Saturday morning the pharmacy employees were very friendly and pretty quick with my prescription. I would prefer a bit more waiting area with some chairs, but everything else was just fine. they have a drive-through but I didn't try that. It is on the other side of the building from the pharmacy. The convenient location and Saturday hours made my illness a bit more tolerable.

This is the only supermarket in the county and you can tell. Be prepared to pay up to double for produce items, paper products, home goods, frozen and dry food and many others. The mark-up on these products is insane and unfair. I only come here in an emergency.

This store is so expensive now ..50 to 75 percent higher on all things , and they pretend it's a sale price ...the government says we only have 12 percent inflation...I didn't fail math , Ingles is taking advantage of us all... Lowe's and Food Lyon are no better ..

Typically a great store with helpful and courteous staff. Not so today after waiting at the customer service desk for too long, another employee addressed me as “honey” and said I would just have to wait. Another customer waiting with me rolled her eyes at the manner in which we were treated. I thought we were done with the 1970’s. At the very least it would be nice if Ingles employees, (especially male) would demonstrate respect and address all female customers as “Ms or Mrs.

The place to go for specialty food items. Also the fried chicken dinners are excellent!! The prices can be a bit unreliable at times but that is probably just me ? I usually do most of my grocery shopping at Aldi or Go grocery outlet to save money. Unfortunately they both do not offer Boars Head cold cuts so I usually shop at Ingles exclusively for that and fresh cooked chicken dinners. I really don't think there is such a thing as a one stop grocery store as far as good prices and variety so I travel quite a bit to find the best deals as well as variety.

Just spent $6 on rice. Label said Philly Roll but the actual ingredients for a Philly Roll (i.e. salmon) we're not existent. This hasn't been the first. Shame on me for continuing to purchase their sushi, but hoping they'll get it right. Constant disappointment. But at least you get a ton of rice. If you're lucky you get the "sushi bowl" -- a container full of rice with a sprinkling of stuff.

I don't know what the problem is in Spruce Pine but every store you go into is dirty. This Ingles is a prime example of this. The parking lot is a mess and inside the store is dirty. I only go here because it is convenient to my place.

I really love the store, products sales and promotions, but I still haven't gotten over being stopped part way through grocery shopping And was then asked if I intended on purchasing what I had in my grocery basket. Which of course I was headed to the checkout to do so. So then not only did it make things awkward for me shopping there, but also had employees talking about me. It's pathetic that I have been treated the way I have because an employee and their family doesn't like me. I thought it was about professionalism and integratee? But times have definitely changed. I have been shopping here for the better part of 30 years, always encouraging people to shop there.

To make a long story short, I bought some “fresh” Tilapia fillets that was packed from the meat department! Came home to fix dinner, opened it! It was RANCID!!! Called the manager this am, told him, he wasn’t the least bit concerned!!!! “Just bring your receipt and we will refund your money”! No apology, no we will look into this matter, NOTHING!!!! If someone has had Covid and couldn’t smell, and they ate that, it could make them very sick!!!! Poor handling of the situation!

I wish I could give these guys 5 stars. They have an incredible selection of brands and items. The produce is always fresh. The staff is courteous and helpful. However, their prices seem to always be a bit more expensive than some other stores. That said I will certainly continue to shop here.

Safe is very willing to help if need be and always friendly, even though Ingles is a corporation, this Ingles has a friendly small town vibe and that's due to the employees that work there. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the earlier time of close they now have. But it's still my go to for all my grocery needs.
