Stores like this only go as far as the team that runs it. I have my likes/dislikes of dollar general as a whole. A lot of people talk about overstock and being out of certain items but i feel those problems really fall on the system. DGs has always seemed to have some issues with being consistent In my area. So this review is more directed at the employees.when it comes to locations, this is my favorite. RJ and abby are always friendly, professional, and willing to go out of their way to help you. They Usually know exactly where what you're looking for is.P.S.I do a lot of delivery in the area and I still come across people who didn't even know it is now an option. Different stores use different methods but DG delivery can be found on the Doordash app.

Beautiful store from the outside looking in. This is a new store that is set up wrong. Items are hard to find. Everything is out in the middle of the isle. Impossible to around in. Anytime I have used this store I found rude employees. Just an disappointment for dollar General. Some of the older stores have the best atmosphere. Friendly people. When checking out, the employees seem to be in a bigger hurry for you to leave than you are! Rush me so that I almost had a fall.

More convenient to my home than the other one in town. BUT most of the time you can barely get down the aisles because of stuff in the way. It seems like they NEVER have any 16 ounce water in stock the shelf is always bare. Found a couple out of date things in there also which isn't good. They definitely need more help and some friendlier cashiers. Last time I was in there it was before 5 and the lady was in a rush to get me out because she said "I was suppose to already be gone home but they were short on help and were closing at 5". I don't feel that was appropriate of her to be complaining to a customer that she didn't get to leave yet. Not for certain what the problem is in there but management isn't doing something right. It seems like there is never room to get down the aisles because of boxes and ladders in the way.

Dollar General is my favorite place to go when I just need to grab a few things, especially during the Pandemic. Less people, decent selection, okay prices, and no matter where you are a dollar general is less than 5 minutes away. The selection varies greatly by store. For example, don't expect to find bedsheets at every location.

They've got to get more product on the shelves there's a lot of things that are not that are usually there that are not there management needs to be alerted to this so the shelves can be restocked like they used to be and I understand everything with the pandemic and covid and all that but we really need to get a control of this ,Thank you!!

Dont know what was going on with the bathrooms at the Dollar General stores in this area but I stopped at 2 different ones on 2 different days...I was told "bathrooms are out of order". I have medical issues that when I have o go, I HAVE TO GO! so they let me use the "employee" restroom. One younger lady was nice about it but an older lady didn't want me to. The layout of the store seems cramped, but most of the DG stores in this area do. I live in central Illinois and our stores there don't seem so jam packed & disorganized. The other DG store I visited was in Banner Elk. They even had a Port-a-John in the parking lot. Can't help but wonder.....were they REALLY out of order or was that the system they came up with to not have to clean up after the public?

They must get a lot of business or something because his they don't keep the shelves very well-stocked. Times I've been here to purchase something they were out. Hard to get somebody to help you out or answer any questions. Maybe with a little time things will get straightened out but I wonder.

The store is pretty on the outside. But a diaster on the inside! Looking for items is like looking for Waldo. Isle make no sense. Like dog food with glassware. Out of stock on a lot of products most of the time. The people have no personalities. They hate to speak to anyone! You hello, they don't like it. You say ask a question, they hate to answer. And me being with a walker, they hate someone slow. Very disappointed in this store. Wouldn't use if disabled!!!

This is one of the cleanest and well maintained dollar general stores. The staff is friendly and helpful which makes it so nice to shop there.

This is the one below Stake is Grocery they have a great selection but they never have more than one register open it takes a minute to get out but they hired new people and its starting to be better!!

Waited in line for at 25 minutes to make a purchase. Finally became so irratted we returned our items to shelves and left without purchasing a thing! Wait time is ridiculous!!!!

Shelfs are empty floats sitting everywhere in store product not put up ! Can't find what I need ! That I usually get there ! Only one person working & their at register !! I WANT MY DOLLAR GENERAL STORES BACK PLEASE !!!

Dollar General is an awful corporation who doesn't care about people! The District Manager, Tim, needs to be replaced for how he treats the employees! I will never shop here again and I encourage others to do the same!

Depending on which dollar general store you go to cause most are great but the 2 in spruce pine are disgusting I've been insulited and talk to like trash but only at these 2 location

They are doing their best with what they're shipped, but there's still NO TOILET PAPER, PAPER TOWELS OR KLEENEX. PLEASE GET SOME OF THESE STAPLES TO US!

It is a bigger store but still seems to be very crammed. There are always boxes in the way and sometimes takes forever for someone to get to the register.
