I needed a larger fish tank and called around to price them. This was the best price by far and the owner even offered to wait for me to come from the other side of Fayetteville to pick it up well after they had already closed! It was clear that she wasn't trying to just sell me something to make more money off me when she told me about other tanks that were cheaper than what I asked about. I asked about a few fish and picked up 2 beautiful new ones. Even though there are pet stores closer to me, I will travel the extra 15 minutes to go here from now on. The owner was very knowledgeable and honest. She let me know that I could call anytime if I had any questions. My money was well spent and the great customer service I received today earned them a new customer for life. THANK YOU!

Perfect place to take your pet for grooming. Marilyn and her crew do an excellent job. I have had my pup there at least 6 times and have never been disappointed with the quality or the price... I also love the fact that they use cage free drying and all natural shampoos. You wont be disappointed :-)

I love love love this place. This was my first visit and upon arrival I immediately felt at home. They are so great. My Chihuahua is very hard to deal with (he is a rescue dog, once abused). He went to them and actually let them clip his nails. I was shocked. They actually take their time to let your pet come to them and get use to them before grooming. My multi-poo looks fabulous.....they are amazing and I strongly recommend them. All natural products....Pawfections is the place to come. Great prices and caring people. I definitely will be back.

The people at this place are amazing! Our non-profit had a big event today and one of the attractions was the live animals we were supposed to have from a local pet store, but they had an emergency and cancelled their participation at the last minute. So we called The Discount Pet Store less than an hour before the event started and they came!! And they came with A LOT of animals! They absolutely save the day!! They have a great variety of exotic animals at their shop so check them out!

This is an amazing pet shop, they have everything I need to take care of my pets, and at great prices! One day I walked in looking for treats for my African gray and out of the corner of my eye I saw behind the counter the most beautiful person I've ever seen, so I quickly stopped to admire this Demi-God only to disappointingly realize it was just my reflection... but the actual people that work there are cool too! And they are willing to help you with whatever you need even if they currently don't have it in stock.

Took my pet there for the first time. The price was good but the result was HORRIBLE!! The store was so unorganized and dirty. My dog was supposed to get a full hair cut, nail trim, teeth brushed etc. She had hair on all 4 legs, face trim was uneven, hair still on ears and on face. She didn't even smell like she just got washed! I was not satisfied AT ALL!! I would NEVER go there again.

Always satisfied when I take my dog here. She uses all natural products and is very good with the animals. Treats them like her own and takes great care and pride in her work. I get my dogs nails done and washed here.

I made an appointment for 11 and told the girl over the phone that I was headed out of town at 3. Well I dropped my baby off at 1030 and went back about 115-130 to pick her up, when I was told that she wasn't ready and had only had a bath 20 min prior to me coming. They were still working on a dog that was giving them trouble. I was never called and said hey we are running behind! And then to top it off my husband went to pick her up after he got off at 3 and she still wasn't ready, he sat there for 25 more minutes until she was done! When she came out she was shaking like crazy and she was butchered. She was way shorter than I had discussed with them and she was uneven, and had bald patches on her legs. I was charged $45 dollars for this horrible grooming and experience. I recieved a phone call from the groomer apologizing as she stated that my husband seemed very dissatisfied when he left. But I wasn't offered a refund or even a partial one. Needless to say I will NEVER take my baby there again!!!

When I called to schedule a grooming appointment for our cat we were told times during the day that the dogs would be gone, so our cat would feel more comfortable. The customer service was very good and we recommend the grooming to other cat lovers as well.

1 star is 1 too many. not only does this place smell like the bottom of the barrel..i made an appointment for my dog to have her face ( asked for yorkie tips for her ears), nails and butt cleaned up for $20. I specifically instructed do not cut her hair....well i picked her up with a chopped up haircut, her butt had not been cleaned as the poop in her butt from that morning was still there, and it hadn't even been shaved. They had the nerve to charge me $45. No worries. i will NEVER be back. And if you go here, hold your breath when you walk in.

This is a family owned pet shop they are still making renovations!! The owners are amazing and down to earth very well knowledge in this profession. If they don't know they will get the answer for you! I've have nothing to complain about they have great hospitality. I trust them with my fur baby Harper!! Thank you so much for doing what you do.

I was very pleased with this store . When I walked in you are greeted by the owner and her staff, they are very helpful if you cant find something and the prices are very good. The birds are what I was looking at the most, they are healthly and happy . Their cages are clean, prices are also good. I would say if you are looking for a good and friendly place this is your store. Plan to go back really soon

It was an awesome experience! I couldn't be happier. The gentleman that helped me was very helpful and kind. I will be going back to buy a bird. This visit I bought an iguana and things needed to keep him happy and healthy! I would highly recommend this pet shop!

I have been going to Pawfection for a little while. I am very upset because the last two visits to Pawfection my dog has been nicked. He has been nicked twice in the same spot, his back right leg. The groomer put a liquid bandage on it, but it was not till I got home and he licked it off I seen the severity of it. He has a huge gash. I feel sorry for him cause he is walking with his tail tucked in. I plan taking him to our vet in the morning. So I do not recommend taking your dog to this facility.

I would like to start this with a 10 star but 5 I guess will just have to do. I read ALL the reviews for this totally freaking awesome Discount pet store and lets just say the name says it all and I just threw in a few extra.lol I have been to the local pet stores like Aqua Rama and yes it's nice and close also you are right outside of Fayetteville..here comes the But ,This pet store makes you feel like family. You can hangout with the birds heck if Charlie there big white pretty girl likes you you got a buddy on your shoulder while you walk around. The other birds most you can get out and hangout with if birds are your thing. Reptile kind of person not birds ok then go do the same with them. The difference is this family run store is just that.. those animals in there are loved by the owners kids and them. There handled and messed with in a good way. Some animals have been there from birth. My son got a Pac man frog from there for Christmas and its healthy easy to handle and just totally cool. I go in this store regularly to feed the frog so that's almost 3,4 even 5 times a week. Never seen an animal sick or abused Never. Barbara the owner is a real sweet person to my family. Just since Christmas I've gotten the best feeling about what kind of family runs this store and let me say this there doing it for the 💘..The love of animals not money. I will never go to another pet store as long as this one is here and I pray this post brings more customers and changes some of your minds on the reviews before you got to mine. I also want to say this is a great place to bring your loved ones with special needs. My son is special and the owners really take the time to help him with the animals so he can enjoy them when we go in. Oh and we even got two parakeets and they have everything we need for way less then the other store. I really hope this helps you all that read reviews. So please go see for yourself you'll see.

The young lady cares about the pet she is treating. I take my shih-tsu Prince there AT LEAST every 3 months & more and she instantly recognizes him when he comes in. Her interaction with him is one of care, fondness, & patience plus he gets a great cut EVERY TIME! She's reasonably price and works well with him. I can't see taking him anywhere else!P.S. I'm so glad they are in a new location, in the parking lot with Bank of America, PD Quix, & Big Lots.She does take her time on your pet with its individualized care & attention. So do allow a considerable amount of time as she works patiently with your pet for the best results (especially long haired dogs like mine). I recommend dropping your pet off with a pre set appointment time and a some hours set aside for "Paw-fection or Purr-fection"!Thank you for what you ladies & gentlemen do~ Rhea & Prince 🐶🐕🐩

I absolutely love that place! i always take my dog jackson there to get his nails and flea bad grooming there. Its super close to my home and the crew there are just so nice. I wouldnt consider taking my dog anywhere else. my jackson always comes out happy and looking great

We just walked in to see the pets and were greeted by a friendly man. The pets looked very well taken care of and we saw a dog that was beautifully groomed. Very nice store with friendly people.

I absolutely love this place! The owners are so knowledgeable and friendly and answers all my questions! They take care of their animals and have such great prices! It’s worth the 35 minute drive, I’m coming here from now on!

What a breath of fresh air! Not only did they have everything I needed, the owner was very knowledgeable and quick to help me out with anything I needed. I just found my new place to go for all my pet needs. Amazingly nice owner!

This is the worst pet shop in life experience. This ugly lady here all she cares about is money money. Place stink like dumpster. And im pretty sure they treat this animal pretty bad . Please stay away if you dont want to hassle. Many pet shop around .....

Really good with dog grooming didn't have a hard time with my German Shepard at all last Friday and had a good fish selection for my daughter!!
