They know each puppy down to every detail. And to this day each dog has behaved exactly the way they predicted. I bought my precious chocolate standard poodle from here. At 1 year she was diagnosed with extreme allergies, only being able to eat a prescription food/treat diet, HA. At 4 years, she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. 2 weeks ago, she was diagnosed with a genetic heart defect. The cardiologist told me that my sweet girl will not live as long as an average standard poodle. This has completely broken my heart. Many other hearts are/will be broken if proper genetic testing does not take place. It is a breeder’s responsibility before selling, regardless of expense. Instead, I’ve spent thousands of dollars in vet bills, getting a diagnosis , treatment plan & medications. It is $315/month for food & heart medication alone. Find a breeder who doesn’t cut corners to save money. My precious poodle is my child, and I am grieving over this.

THE BEST standard poodle puppies you can find! We got our dark brown male in February 2021 and he is the most fabulous baby we could have imagined! He is happy 24/7 and best of all, he is very healthy! The people at Family Affair treat all the puppies and adults as their own pets, loving on them and playing with them. I would definitely love to have another baby from them! This is our Freddie Mercury, age 3.

I had a wonderful experience with them. Our 6 month old boy is HUGE, smart, healthy, active and gorgeous. We receive tons of compliments. He socializes well with other dogs, and plays well with my children (boys, 3 and 7). We had the Flight Nanny deliver him and meet us at the airport. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. I would definitely recommend Family Affair and will use them again if we get another puppy.

OH my goodness. This wonderful family has the sweetest puppies. They are so beautiful and there farm is just lovely. We are older so cannot have another large dog, but I have steered many folks to them, so they get the best of the best!! Below is a picture of our sweet Bailey. We had her for 14 years.

We adore Family Affair poodles to the fullest! Our friend, who owns one of their poodles and is the finest dog we have ever met, initially told us about Family Affair. So we turned to them first when it was time for us to bring home a furry family member. That's where we met our Leo! He is the most charming, well-behaved puppy there is, and we adore him with all of our hearts! We were treated so wonderfully by everyone here, and we will definitely return in the future. I highly recommended them. The long journey from Florida was worthwhile.

I purchased a puppy from here a while back. The breeders allowed me to take home a breeding dog (dog was a puppy) come to find out later, that the puppy had a genetic defect that I wasn’t aware of. Family affair knew, and never bothered to tell me. At one point in time, I campaigned for family affair, believing that they were good and honest people. Now I would advise anyone who asks, to steer clear of this place.

In 2009, after many phone conversations, I flew from Pennsylvania to Get a puppy from Family Affair. They helped me pick the right choice for my needs. Gave me a tour and introduced me to her parents. They also got a little travel container and helped me arrange my air flight home. I was able to have little Cara Mia on the plane right with me. Family Affair was helpful in every way. I researched their business and several others. I was impressed with Family Affairs devotion to health testing, matching the right bloodlines to breed, their guarantee and their ethical approach. Mia was a wonderful, kind, gentle, highly intelligent, obedient girl. I can't recommend this kennel highly enough!

I can't rave enough about my experience with Family Affair Poodles. I reached out to them needing a puppy that could be trained to be a service dog. The process from start to finish was informative, adaptive to my needs, and thorough. The health and the staff are very personable, knowledgeable, and kind. I've worked with other breeders in the past, but none of them hold a candle to Cindy. I worked with Cindy during most of my process and felt prepared and safe. I also felt informed to more than make the right decision for me on which puppy, working with my selected trainers, and so on. I get comments on my puppy's coat, behavior, and health constantly from my vet and strangers who stop me purposely to ask about her and who bred her because of her calm and sweet temperament. I don't believe I'll ever have another puppy like her because she's one of a kind, and so was her breeder, Cindy. I was allowed to see the puppies' mother and the puppies from the age they were 4 weeks every single week until I took her home at 13 weeks. I was allowed to make choices independently and with their great input, and spent time with each puppy individually . I did not have to leave until I was ready during each visit. Cindy's prices are also excellent. I can't imagine getting a dog of this quality for the price she offers. Each puppy is excellent, and it was a really hard decision which one to take home. After working with my trainers, there were 3 that could've been service dog candidates. 3!!! How amazing is that?Work with Cindy - you won't regret your decision. I would go back to her for another dog anytime, anyday.

I love this breeder. They breed and raise the MOST WONDERFUL. Standard poodles you will find anywhere.I have raised 5 standards and loved all of them, but Pippen my last is just superior to all the others. My white male standard poodle, Ritz, will be 4 years old in November - and he is the best dog! Super confident, fun loving, social, friendly (yet protective), chill, not too demanding nor too sensitive, not anxious, not yappy - annnnd... he's incredibly gorgeous! Looks like a champion poodle! We have had 4 poodles in our 50 years together, each one larger than the last. Our last, a giant, was with us for almost 15 years. We began looking for a successor about ten months ago. We were very pleased when we found Family Affair Standards. We watched them over the next few weeks on their website and were impressed with the people, the facility their methods and their dogs. In the end, we chose an older (8 months) puppy. We drove from Houston to pickup "Cimarron". He has proved to be an excellent dog in all respects and is almost 11 months old and developing into an excellent adult.UPDATE: Cimarron just had his 3rd birthday. He has matured into a 70 lb dark brown dog; unfortunately he lost his beautiful red highlights as he matured. Excellent watch dog, great personality.

They helped us get the perfect dog for our needs. FASP screened our Standard Poodle puppy for service dog work as a Diabetic Alert Dog. His temperament is perfect in every way. We love having a calm, smart, hypo-allergenic dog. Their communication is excellent. From start to finish, we enjoyed working with them. I highly recommend them! These pictures are from the age of 14 weeks old. He was already staying down and calm in busy, public places. He was potty trained when we brought him home at 10 weeks, and naturally signaled my son's low blood sugar the first night. Just an unbelievable dog. Thank you, FASP for an answer to prayer!!
