The BEST vet in Sparta!! Everyone who works here is so kind and helpful, Dr. Tompkins is excellent. My dog needed an emergency vet visit on a Saturday - I called every vet in the area but they couldn’t work her in except for Glade Creek. She had a full wellness exam, bloodwork, an X-ray, and medications prescribed to her all for under $175. You can tell that the staff truly care about their patients. Could not recommend enough.

My dog is very high energy when encountering new places and people and I was worried bringing him to get the big snip but felt better with everyone at Glade Creek, they are so good with him! We previously got vaccines as well and they were very patient and understanding, I Highly recommend!

Dr. Michelle Tompkins saved both my babies life. Buddy almost died last year of a viral infection her prompt reaction to help him went far a beyond. She arranged for Buddy to go to an emergency specialist and now he is soo happy.Then Coree being a puppy he is curious and well got bitten by a snake. Again Dr. Michelle came to the rescue and well Coree will be Coree .

We have a miniature, long-haired dachshund which was attacked by a pit bull resulting in some puncture wounds that got infected. Michelle knows her stuff, treated our dog well and provided easy instructions for care. On top of that, her staff is professional, responsive, and friendly. We highly recommend Glade Creek Vet Hospital and Dr. Michelle Tompkins.

We switched to here from a vet in Wilkesboro and it's so much better. It's appointment only so it's nice that the place isn't crowded with people and you don't have to sit there with your pets for an hour waiting to be seen. And everyone is so friendly, I do not regret switching

I've been told wonderful things about this vet but when I called to try to get an appointment I was told they aren't accepting new clients and they have quite a long wait list. I explained I needed help for an eye infection for a kitten and was told "sorry". I asked what I could do to help the kitten until I could find a vet and was told they couldn't tell me anything without seeing it.. no helpful advice or willingness to be of any help.

I highly recommend Glade Creek Animal Hospital! When no other vets were accepting new patients, they worked my dog in that day to be seen. They thoroughly explained the tests they ran, gave me great instructions for at-home care and they treated her so well that she didn’t seem to mind being there at all. I quickly and easily texted them for a checkup for my senior dog. The text option for reminders is AWESOME! The office is nicely decorated and VERY clean. They have pill pockets, food and pest treatment in the office for purchase. I can’t say enough good things about this office-I wish my own doctor’s office was this nice! Very glad I found them 😊

Glade Creek Animal Hospital is top notch! There set up is amazing from the waiting room with snacks, coffee and drinks TV with live action! The receptionists are so helpful and kind and my experience has never been crowded or loud! Dr. Tompkins has an awesome animal hospital and will have my business throughout the future! My GS pup just got spayed and after surgery seems better than when she went in! All a testament to the care she recieved during her time there. If your looking for a great Vet and your close to Glade Creek Animal Hospital do your animals a solid and give Dr. Tompkins and her team a shot you won't be sorry!

My son choice this vets office to tend to his dog, our animals are like family and want the best for them.. He was very impressed with the care, gentleness, cleanliness in the facility itself. No pet smells! The professionalism and smiles no attitudes was nice to see. Most of all I was very please with Dr. Thompson calling to inform me what was going on with our dog. Within 2 days our boy was back to himself with her advise and meds. Even more so this was a very affordable visit. We will diffently be back! Thank you all very much..

As a pet owner, I am passionate about my dogs. Dr. Tompkins and all of her staff are too. They are very attentive and caring for our family pets. The customer service is always professional and full of kindness. You can tell they truly care about an animal's well being. Every time I call for an appointment, we get in right away. Prices are very reasonable. Office is always clean. I would highly recommend Glade Creek Animal Hospital the next time you need a veterinarian.

Michelle and her staff are awesome. We have 4 dogs and she has seen all of them in the last few months. Plus a cat that adopted us. The lowest rates and the best service we have gotten any where. We have moved 11 times in 8 years for work from NC to PA and alaska. We have seen the good and the bad when it comes to vets and they are hands down number 1 in our experience.

My cat, Pepper Jack, needed a dental done, but he has a heart murmur. They were very professional and mindful of his age (8-9 years) and his other medical issues prior to, during and after surgery. Highly recommend. Very clean facility.

Just moved to Sparta and needed a new vet as our dog got sick. This place is great. Took care of our dog and two days later he was doing 100% better. The price was not bad at all for all that he received and spent 2 nights here. I was very please and will be taking our other animals here also.

We are in town for a few months and our dog was having a problem that was not bothersome but not urgent. They got us in the next day. The vet was very thorough, but we appreciated her philosophy of not doing more than necessary. We will definitely use this office as our primary vet for services during our time here. Thank you!

Although you'd think it especially difficult for them to provide personalized service in this time of covid-19 but they were wonderful! Highly recommend.

Dr. Tompkins and her staff are amazing. Everyone was friendly and the office is very clean and welcoming. You can tell that this is a passion for her and her staff, not just a job. We will not be going anywhere else.My dog, Apollo, got hit by a car (and thankfully only had wounds on one of his back legs). We had never been to Dr. Tompkins before but she was recommended by several of my friends. She was very straightforward with her initial assessment and let us know that he would need an xray and surgery to clean up the wounds and would have to be kept for about a week. Dr. Tompkins ensured us that her goal is not only to get him better but to also be as cost effective as possible (and she definitely was!). He stayed for the full week at Glade Creek Animal Hospital and I recieved an update every day (except Sunday). I knew exactly how he was doing and the plan of treatment for the next day. When my husband and I were able to pick him up, Dr. Tompkins showed us how to continue wound care at home and made sure that we understood and had no questions before leaving. Even though we were upset to leave him there, we knew that it was the best thing for him and he was recieving the best care possible. I can't thank the staff enough for being amazing and taking great care of Apollo. 🖤

My dog is not a client, as they're not taking new ones. However, my dog ate some fiberglass insulation, so I called to see if they would see him as an emergency. They flat out refused. I can't fathom this. So, God forbid he gets hit by a car and is bleeding, they'll turn him away at the door?? Very uncaring, unprofessional attitude!

AWESOME place. My fur baby had surgery on his knee. They kept in touch with us on the update with surgery and how he was doing. The price is very affordable. This is the only place we will go to even we are three hours away-it is worth it. GREAT people there! Thank you!

Truffles is my cat she is around 16 probably not here for that much longer. What a kind generous group of people. There care shows. There is one person I would like to tease but I know that it would come across as mean. I am glad they will be there for the inevitable.
