The overwhelming smell of bleach is so off putting I did not dare to buy any meat or anything from inside the store. I wanted some heirloom tomatoes; but sadly it seemed as though they had been stored in the refrigerator for some time and then outside in the bins, they had rotted. I bought 6 peaches and upon returning home, they were also not suitable to eat. I thought they were ripe based on touch, but, it was really rot. I'll have to go off the mountain!

Cool small local grocery. Pack a lot of stuff in a small footprint. Plenty of fresh meat and pork. Jams, jellies, candy, chips, fresh veggies, drinks, bird food, canning stuff, etc. Very friendly staff. Parking and bathroom available.

They have very nice cuts of reasonably priced meats. They also carry some great candy and sundry grocery items. My last visit was to pick up some venison that was processed for me. I received nice cuts of venison as I had requested, and they even offered to take it to my car.

Our experience is limited to purchases of meats without any recent background with stand-alone butchers. Imagine our surprise to discover top quality meat and selection at much less grocery store prices! We buy all our meats here now, Also have hard to find candy, some fresh fruits and vegetables, and generous servings of delicious ice creams. The owners and employees, and the dog are helpful and friendly, rounding out our positive experi3nce!

This place is a joke. Definitely don't take anything there to get processed. We had 3 different cows me and 2 other family members each had one that they processed there and every one of our orders where wrong like way off didn't get the meat we requested out of the cows and we didn't get all of our meat. They don't have anything in line so unorganized. Stay away I would give it 0 stars if it would let me post it like that. I can back up everything I have said me and my family members will all tell you our stories.

I just love this place. The folks who work there are friendly and helpful, they sell local meats and dairy and handmade desserts as well. And they pile up the ice cream in a cup like it's a tall cone!

DO NOT TRUST!! If you wanna donate your deer head, you might as well try this place. We dropped off an 8 pointer, and it was the biggest deer we have ever shot in our lifetimes. This could be our last season deer hunting due to cancer, and this deer meant a lot to our family. Getting this deer mounted was very special to us. Not only did the ignorant owner take absolutely no responsibility for “loosing” our deer head, but he gave us nearly no meat and no sincere reimbursement or apology. He either “lost it” or switched them out underneath us. How absolutely asinine. We trusted you with this deer, you had literally one job. You messed it up and make no offer to make it right.

My brother left a Deer there for them to process. The head "disappeared". Not like someone can just walk out with a massive Deer head. So, they sold it, gave it away, or just took it. They took no responsibility or offered any reimbursement. Do not trust these people!
