Visiting from out of town and it was the only self-service wash station within 30 minutes. Staff was super friendly and my pup still smells good 6 days later ☺️. We walked in but would definitely recommend calling ahead to make sure your spot is reserved, as there is only 1 bay. They had 4 or 5 different shampoo/conditioner combos to choose from, ear wash, flea/tick spray, plenty of towels, and a blow dryer.

I love Unleashed Southport!! Terry and Caitlyn were so helpful in helping me find a new food for my dogs. They were so nice and knowledgeable of all the different types of food and what best suited our dogs needs!

Great natural foods that are dye free and additive- free. My pets are healthy and content. Thank you for being here in Southport.Occasional discount coupons would be useful for those of us with more than one pet. (Hint-hint)

Best Pet Store ever! Frank loves going there and picking his treats. The staff is amazing. They are the only place in NC we can find braided tendons.

What a fantastic store! Just stopped by to pick up a collar but once I saw so many unique things I spent a bit more time. Both of the staff members that were there were knowledgeable and you could definitely tell they had been well trained on providing solutions to your pet’s needs. Sooo many unique treat and food choices. You can tell this company doesn’t say yes to carrying every single thing that’s out there. Only high quality items found here. I’d liken it to the Fresh Market or Whole Foods of the pet supply store world. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at this new location yesterday. The sales associates were all very knowledgeable and friendly. One representative and I got to talking about harnesses for my Pyrenees mix he found me a freedom no pull harness and I LOVE IT!!! I wound not have found it without his help and I feel so much more in control walking my big ole stubborn dog with this new harness. Cant wait to visit and restock on treats soon.

If you're looking for anything cat related you’re better off finding a larger selection at pet smart. 90% of the store is dedicated to dogs while there’s a tiny “cat corner” at the back of the store near their storage area.

First & last trip here.As soon as I entered no welcome or greeting whatsoever.As I start looking around shopping for my dog & new cat I noticed the same guy I saw behind the counter when I arrived, following me around.Even if none of us have any intentions on purchasing anything, we should be able to go into any store and walk around freely without feeling followed by any employee/loss prevention. I find these tactics especially insulting, maddening, degrading, etc.Even though I did buy something I wasn’t impressed.

The store was pleasant with an open floor plan. It is far from the Zeetlegoos experience though. The brands are completely different. Almost all brands I've never heard of. The selection is extremely limited even though I can see they're adding a few additional items.

The counter help at this store needs some training to adjust their serious lack of concern and absolute lack of any empathy. If you want indolent snotty adolescent attitude in your daily life, this is the place to go. I came in on Saturday September 25th. I have a great deal if difficulty walking and every step for me is painful. I shattered my hip in an automobile accident and have plates and screws holding it together. I came up to the counter and the young man behind the counter looked at me and my cane and said "I can take care of you over here" meaning that I would have to walk all the way around to the other side of the counter for him to ring me up, All he had to do was to reach over and get the four items I had and ring them up and then hand them back to me. I looked at him, showed him my cane and asked him if he really was going to make me walk all the way around the counter in order to be rung up. He just looked at me and said nothing. Needless to say, I will never shop here again.
