Fresh market has the best of everything! Yes it’s expensive, and I wish I could do all my shopping here because you get what you pay for!The ‘Little Big Meals’ are such a deal for dinner in a pinch, and very delicious I might add! The flowers are so beautiful too!I have returned flowers and items I feel didn’t meet their usual quality and the staff are so accommodating. They are never rude or mean about returns which is unlike so many other places. The management is very on it, and the store is impeccable. Thank you Fresh Market!

I shop here 1-2 times a week, but am starting to heavily reconsider that choice. This particular Fresh Market is always filthy, and the cashiers are consistently nasty/rude for absolutely no reason (gossiping and speaking ill of other customers in front of me, snatching receipts, bagging fragile items like flowers and eggs aggressively, etc.). The other day I saw moldy cheddar blocks on display… I have also waited close to 20 minutes to be served at the bakery by an employee when I was the ONLY one standing there in line with nobody behind the counter, nor did other employees make an effort to call someone to help me when I asked. The list goes on and on. This particular Fresh Market is the most ghetto one I have ever been to, and that’s sad considering I have been to the one in Fayetteville and thought more highly of that location over this one here in our beautiful Southern Pines community… Even the Fresh Markets in Atlanta are nicer than this location. This Fresh Market is a truly pitiful sight. There’s so much more I want to say, but this store is far beyond being a lost cause.

Went to the Southern Pines store a month or so and haven't been back since. They seem to always run out of cakes and pastries very early in the day ( in particular crumb cake) so if you don't shop early your out of luck. The cashier we had ( on two occasions) was very nasty and totally unprofessional. Complained to corporate and the store assistant manager but see he's still there. Needless to say, we'll spend our hard earned money elsewhere.

First time visiting there and impressive but one of your workers was complaining . That's not good for a first time visitor but the elderly lady at the register is what made the 4 Star she was an angel.

I stopped in to purchase a few things and noticed after leaving that this cheese was molded. I returned to the store and when I asked to speak to the manager was treated pretty rudely by the cashier. They called Frank to the front and the only conversation was when he asked if I’d like more cheese or my money back. He went back to the deli counter grabbed another pack of cheese and handed it to me whiteout saying a word. On the way to the car I looked and the 2nd pack wasn’t much fresher than the first. I just chased it up to another bad local fresh market experience, and didn’t bother returning the 2nd package. Waste of money and time for not so “fresh”?

The weekend special item chicken & spinach cannelloni was not at my store… disappointed when it was advertised it should be available.2 weekends I stopped for spinach cannelloni as advertised in your email. No one knew what I was talking about & when they checked they did not have it.

Purchased two Italian Meatloaves and they were delicious!! They were delivered uncooked so I added my own topping sauce before cooking. Directions for cooking and ingredients included. My guests and my family agreed that it was the best meatloaf ever!!! Thank you Fresh Market!!!

I really don't get this place. Its like a bad joke for people that just want to pay more for food. The produce is below average. The bakery is all frozen goods, Nothing seems fresh.

It's so sad to loose things like get a king cake in NC, or the Roses and chocolate strawberries combo in February at Fresh Market.

Disappointed actually. This is the third time I went to pick up an advertised strawberry rhubarb pie, only to discover they had none available. You can call the store in advance to see if they had it, but it's been my experience that no one ever, ever, answers the phone.I bought a good rotisserie chicken dinner for two, but my request to swap out the corn muffins for blueberry cornbread was refused, even though I must have gotten lucky with this on numerous previous occasions; oh well... sometimes you have to look elsewhere.

I shop once a month for my meats. I am so glad Fresh Market brought back the $2.99/lb for Chicken Breast and Hamburger. When you are on a budget every dollar counts! Today I had great customer service from Daquain (Meat Dept), DeeDee (Store Mgr) and Quneshia (Cashier). They all were super helpful even with my larger order. Good people like this makes a great shopping experience! Keep up the great job!

They have 2/6 registers open the day before 4th of July. 14 people are in my line as I stand here, thank you for treating your customers like they are at Walmart. Why are not all the registers open? All the positions in the store should be manned, this isn't the depression of the 30s.

We love to go here for the selection and quality of meats. Their prices can be a little steep but it's well worth it for a really nice meal at home. Also, check out their "Dilly Beans", they're locally canned pickled green beans that taste amazing and extremely healthy as well! You'll find them in their pickle section.

You can catch some great deals here. However, I must say that I find the store to need a serious cleaning. I've been in several times and blood has leaked from the meat cabinet onto the floor and the anti-pasta bar smells terribly. I give them the benefit of the doubt because I've noticed staff has changed a good bit and I guess they are struggling like some many other business with staffing. They have items I can't get elsewhere so I return.

Great store with friendly staff. Love the produce selection, I can always find the odd veggie I'm looking for. It also has a large variety deli food and the butcher's shrimp is the best precooked shrimp I've ever tasted. I'd give it 5 stars if the store was bigger. The isles can get pretty cramped when you shop at peak times.

Very fresh cuts of meat at this store (which is kn of the few things I ever get here) and a very wide selection of wine and cheese. If wine and cheese is your thing I would suggest check this place out. They have a great produce selection as well. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable.

Outstanding store offering the best in fresh food, organic food, and unusual food items that can’t be bought elsewhere. I love the bakery and enjoy buying the homemade desserts and holidays treats they offer every year. The Christmas chocolate gifts located In the front of the store are also superb and beautifully put together . Well done, Fresh Market! Keep up the good work!

While I have to agree that the deli, bakery, and overall food selections are terrific, I am regularly disappointed with the customer service and I don’t understand why? For example, I stopped by this evening with my two kids to pick up bistro meals for dinner. After standing there for several minutes while the deli worker rinsed out a dish, he eventually came up and asked “do you want something?” and proceeded to treat me like I was inconveniencing him. He was quite polite with the older customers but I felt the presence of my children was somehow a burden for him (they are 3 and 8 and we’re quiet and still). Next, we headed over to the bakery because my son asked for a dessert. Again, several minutes went by with the bakery worker standing 3 feet from me and “not noticing” me. Eventually she came over, and again “do you need something?” was my greeting. I asked for the item my son requested and it was placed sideways in the container and handed off with an insincere “have a nice day” as she looked away. Then on to checkout, I greeted the checkout clerk with “hi, how are you?” and literally got no response. My only redeeming experience tonight was the sweet girl bagging our items who actually made eye contact and said she hoped we have a good night. I’m not saying my expectations are super high when I go grocery shopping and there have been a few customer service experiences I’ve had here that have been good, but they are few and far between. I would honestly shop there more if I felt like my children were welcome in the store. It’s a really weird approach to customer service. I hope it gets better because the actual products are better than other local stores.

Visited this store when on a pre-Christmas golf vacation with my son just last week. Brought home some anisette cookies for my 81 year old dad in Scranton who is very used to his mom’s famous Italian cookies, as well as those of his aunts. My dad asked me to send a note to Fresh Market to compliment the bakers on these amazing cookies that brought back joyful memories of family and friends and good times with loved ones, many who have since passed on. Thank you, Fresh Market, for helping me bring some love home for my Dad and all. ❤️ Highly recommend these cookies and the Fresh Market bakery to all!

Good: Great selection of foods hard to find anywhere else. Went back on a subsequent trip for more creme brulee. Not so good: typically cramped layout with narrow aisles and choke points at the service counters that impede flow.

Fresh Market has what their name implies and more. Very fresh greens, veggies and fruits with a variety not found in other local food stores. Excellent meat, fish, deli and cheeses. Gluten free foods. Stumptown coffee! Lots of well selected imported and US sourced specialty products at good prices. Go and find what you are having for dinner tonight!
