I love this place! Not tons of options for affordable dog food, but there is a huge assortment of unique accessories, toys, supplements,and other products for all of your pet needs. Staff is super friendly and willing to help in any way possible. They will even offer to carry your heavy bags to the car for you! Great staff and awesome environment with a dog washing station!

I have a serious question. No disrespect. Does it have to smell that bad in there? I understand the smell of dog food and the various pet food products. This smell was NOT that. But this smell was on the level of a barnyard. In an enclosed building. I’ve been in there multiple times before and it didn’t smell like this. Maybe it’s just me… I left continuously feeling like I smelled that way and getting whiffs of it until I bathed hours later.

My family and I used to enjoy bathing our three dogs here. At $10 a bath, it was a great deal. However, the Southern Pines store has moved to completely watering down the soaps they offer AND raised the price 50% to $15 per bath. For no known reason except likely corporate greed, considering we’re on the same water company as this business and we’ve not been alerted of 50% increase in water costs??

Ordered a litter box online (stated it was in stock). About an hour later received an email (noticed after I stopped by store) that my order had been canceled (no reason given). Store clerk was not really very apologetic. Disappointed. Found a different litter box at another pet store. Will think twice before returning to petsmart in the future.

Dude I love this place, if you are an aquarium lover please look into this. The staff is so sweet, helpful and just overall joyful there's never a dull moment with this place. I will always come here for my aquarium, cat food, pet toys and more. Have a HUGE selection of fish (more than PetSmart and slightly cheaper)

I bought 2 Cory catfish from here and they’re very healthy! I’ve had them for about 2 months now and they’re alive and well. They clean up after my mystery snail and keep the tank clean. Definitely worth the money.

Very clean pet store. The employees were all very friendly. We went to get my niece a teddy bear hamster, and they had one available (as stated on the phone when we called). She loves him. They also have a nice variety of bunnies, guinea pigs, etc. Some things are pricier, just like any other pet store, but overall very nice.

My husband wanted a new fish and we’ve been checking petsmart every week and they never had what he was looking for, so he found Pet Supermarket. This was a great little store! He found the pleco he had been looking for and the employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. Will absolutely be back!

My first visit, they had exactly what I was looking for and Heather was fantastic. Not only did she assist me in my shopping but she also spent time with my dog. The cashier, Maria was also exceptional and the entire experience was awesome. I have found my new pet store.

I normally don’t add reviews due to wanting every business in my town to succeed, but due to the experience my family had at this location I felt the need to add my rating. The General manager, Heather Jackson, took it upon herself to yell at my child while her mother was standing 5 feet away. She accused my daughter of “running” in the store. This of course made my daughter cry and while my wife was tending to her, Mrs. Jackson decided to address my son on how he was handling a dog toy (that we intended to buy). I was a GM for a major retailer and with all my training, I have never seen a GM yell at someone’s child. Usually if there are behaviors happening that they deem unfitting, they reach out to the parents and allow them to handle the situation. I understand if there was a safety concern, but I know my children and any teacher or community member would tell you that my children are very well behaved. My wife said she may have been skipping back to her after putting something back on the shelf, but she was not running in the store. My biggest issues comes from this company’s lack of effort to communicate with their costumers. I reached out in the location, and called their corporate office to have a district manager reach out to me to address my concerns. It has been 3 weeks and I still have not gotten a phone call from the manager nor the DM. I normally buy my fish and pond equipment from this location, but I will no longer be utilizing their services.

I have done business with this location a handful of times, and I have not had any issues or complaints. I personally admire that they care about the customers here and will even help take heavier items to your vehicle with no problem. The staff will help you look for items you have in mind and answer any questions that they are able to.

We just went in to Pet Supermarket for the first time and LOVED it! The staff was kind, excited to see our pup, and very knowledgeable of their products. They carry very nice (healthy, natural) dog foods. The treats look so tasty, I want to try them myself! The dog washing station is beautiful. They look better than our own bathrooms at home! The store smelled nice and it was spacious. The small animals (rabbits, birds, rodents, ferrets) for purchase looked well taken care of. It was a great experience and we are excited to go back!

I love shopping here. All the employees are so nice and always welcome me when I walk through the door! There self service dog wash is so convenient and always so clean! I can't wait to get back and buy more toys for my two cats.(one of which I got from there!) I refuse to go anywhere else to shop for my pets!

Wouldn't go there ever again. My daughter wants to buy a ferret and they were rude to her and wouldn't let her hold one unless she "planned on purchasing it." Well, she was trying to see if she would be able to handle a ferret. No way to know that unless she handles it. And for over $300 I would expect some sort of courtesy. Rude, rude, rude.

Great place to shop! They have a dog wash, everything except grooming utensils is provided for you, they clean up after you’re done and it’s only $10! They have so many cute animals, reptiles and fish. They provide a free rewards program where every dollar spent is a point, once you get 100 points you have a $5 reward that you can use for free/discounted treats at the register or save some money. Also with the rewards program every 7th dog wash is free!

Beautiful store with many great options at an affordable price! The dog wash is fantastic, only $10 and after six you get a free one! They provide your shampoo and conditioner, they have towels and blow dryers available to use and they clean up after you, so much better than struggling with your pet at home in the tub. They have a great VIP program that is free to sign up for. You get points for every dollar spent and after 100 you get a $5 reward and after ten bags of pet food you get a free one! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, definitely my go-to spot for all my pet needs!
