Nice people, but the store is crowded. Wish there was a Home Depot in town. Competition is a good thing. During Covid the selection was pitiful and the prices were outlandish. Had a big remodel and paid through the nose for less quality than I wanted. No quality drywall compound? Get serious!

It's a shame they don't have a Home Depot to compete with. Hard to get help. Inventory is not that great...almost guaranteed you'll not get everything on your list. The cashier's are super nice though. And the lady in the paint department, she's great... Very helpful!

I purchased a ton of soil and products from Lowes. Jose (who works in their online Fulfillment Department) helped me collect all the items I needed and then helped me load them into my truck. Such a nice guy and sooooo helpful.Lowe’s is blessed to have Jose. Thank you Jose!!!!

These 5 stars go to the employee working the wood section "doc" he went above and beyond not only did he help us cut some wood but when he noticed I had catcuce in my finger from a plant we bought he came right over to offer his medical kit with great tweezers to pull the quills from my finger. Thank you so much DOC!!!

No customer skills at all! Three Workers stood in customer and looked at me didn't say someone will be you in a minute or did someone help already. 12/21/2023. This was my first time here the workers are rude I was trying to get a key made one person sent me down to row 14 no one was there. I saw a cashier I asked her was anyone working in that area she said the person might be gone already. I asked her could she check for me she had a attitude even though she made the call. Bad service!

Purchased a nativity set this past week and it worked one day. Lost receipt and when I went to return set for a store credit it was denied due to corporate policy. I didn't want the $95 back -just a credit. They could have scanned the QR code on the box to see it came from the store inventory as requested but Manager didn’t even tryMerry Christmas

It's a shame the Lowes stores are associated with the Synchrony Bank credit card. I have had so many problems with the card over the past 3 to 4 weeks - having to call them at least a dozen times, had to travel 20 miles to the store on many occasions when my card wouldn't work for online orders, had to order the same item multiple times because of issues with the card. It has gotten to the point where it feels like they are harassing me. I've realized I'm better off just ordering online from Home Depot and cutting up and cancelling the Synchrony card.Update - I called Lowes as requested in their response, another waste of my time. Also, my final order from Lowes was a assembled and delivered Weber grill, it showed up unassembled, not surprised.

We are new to the Southern Pines/Pinehurst area from SC and find the attitude of workers at this Lowes is terrible. So it’s either a collective bad group of employees or bad management. My money is on bad management reflected through employees who could care less if they help folks or not.The manager needs to be canned and fresh leadership brought in. One almost feels like asking questions is a wrong thing to do in this store. Wish there was a Home Depot closer than Fayetteville.

Went to get paint yesterday and the young woman was incredibly rude and pushy. I asked for eggshell paint, when I did not take "her professional" advice to get a different finish she became very rude. Additionally she wrote all over the paint can "against associates advice no returns," in black marker and addionally markerd out all the barcodes on the can which caused additional issues at check out. Additionally' since Lowe's has a no return policy on paint that has been tinted anyway, this show was done mearly to embarass the customer and make your "paint professional" feel better about her self. This Lowe's has become very, very disappointing over the last few years. Will never ship here again

We placed an order for same-day delivery (I would've been fine with next-day delivery or, heck, four-day delivery, but same-day is what was offered, so I paid the $100 for it), and 9 hours later, my product still hadn't been delivered. The updates all said "In progress" (including the automated phone message, which creepily knew who I was without my even saying anything), until finally, at 9pm, it suddenly switched to 'Delayed'. I called the store, got a (clearly new, so she's forgiven) rep, and no one could figure out where the driver was or why he hadn't picked up my order. The rep offered to patch me through to a manager, and I said that'd be great. Patch attempts failed, so I asked her if she could just wave him down so we could figure out how to refund my delivery fee. She apologized and said that he was busy with 'other stuff' like closing the store, etc. (NOT tending to a customer whose order the store had messed up).So, overall, SORELY disappointed with this store. Wow. I ended up just canceling the order since we somehow couldn't figure out how to just refund me the delivery charge, which means my project will have to wait even longer.How is it that this area has the literal worst chain store customer service on the planet? Nothing's as bad as our Walmart, but good Lord it seems like other stores have accepted the challenge to beat them for the title.Except Chick-Fil-A. Everyone should be like Chick-Fil-A.Do better, Lowes. Good grief.

I usually go there to buy wood but you can find from decoration, gardening, home improvement tools, and a lot more. They have a 15% military discount. Usually they are short staffed on commercial busy hours, be patience if you need assistance

Oh my this place is chaos! There was stuff everywhere you couldn't get thru an isle without having to move some random cart or other stuff. I have came back on acouple of occasions thinking maybe things will be different but nope. So I don't recommend this place.

Hey guys, how long are you going to drag your heels on getting in touch with the guy who while shopping in YOUR store has his car run into right in front of your main entrance and in full view of your CCTV camera? It’s been over 6 weeks now….. The driver took off, do you really feel it’s my insurance company’s responsibility to pay the repair bill when you have video of the incident? Would you keep that video to yourself if I was stealing stuff from YOUR store? I’ve given my contact info to your customer service reps on two separate occasions. I highly doubt they aren’t getting to mgmt. Someone on your end must have forgotten that Home Depot delivers to Southern Pines and so does Amazon…..

Great store. Very helpful employees. Bought a great deal of supplies, tools, etc. from them.Recently bought a battery-powered light there, and received, to my shock, a t shirt-wrapped cinderblock.When I took it back the return desk employees were helpful and understanding, and made sure I got an actual light. Highly recommend this Lowe's.

Lowes is great. I visit the Southern Pines, Sanford, or Ramsey St Fayetteville locations on a regular basis. My only gripe is the pricing in the value section is non existent, confusing, and most items have no price tag. Staff has always been knowledgeable and ready to assist. The paint section staff has been awesome and Adrian in Southern Pines was wonderful when we purchased flooring.

Worst company ever to order from, I ordered a washer, dryer and refrigerator paid 3,350.40 on 7/30/23. Delivery date was 8/2/23 the washer came damaged and was sent back with their delivery company was told by the driver that a case number will give when they back to the store, 2 days went by no phone call. I call the store and said sorry we can’t help you here you’ll have call the warehouse. Call the Lowe’s Warehouse “customer care person” said sorry there’s NO case number. I will create one for you and you will get a call in 24 hours. And NO that didn’t happen either. So called again and this going for all most 2 weeks. At this point I don’t know what to do. Does anyone know who I can talk to? I don’t want to say I just lost money but at this point Lowes has taken my money and will not give me what I pay for stress and don’t understand.

Worst experience ever! Just purchased a new home the last week of July. Went to Lowe’s to purchase a new washer and dryer. We had three different washers delivered all damaged. Told them to just refund our card for the washer and dryer. It’s been 2 months now and no one ever responds with an answer. I’ve called numerous times with no call backs. Apparently the third party is refunded the money to gift cards not my Lowe’s credit card and I’ve not seen one gift card. All I want is a refund to my credit card. Awful customer service and communication.

I have a cast on my leg, so I purchased 2 items for curbside pickup. At 630 am, one of the items we're removed from my order due to being "out of stock." I checked on the availability again after receiving my curbside delivery, and it still said qty 1 in stock. So then I broke out my knee scooter and went on the hunt. Low and behold, I found it on the correct isle and correct bin. Please do better. If you hate your job, quit so someone who needs it and enjoys it can have it.

I don't know if they are over working their staff or what, I have been giving this branch my business for over 7 years, with no complains, but for the last 3 months the staff is absolutely horrible. Three weeks ago I tried to get a employee to help me load 4 sheets of plywood, ended up loading it myself after a 20 minutes wait, when I asked the guy standing around the register to help me load it in my truck he huffed but helped and the entire time he complained about how he hated to work at Lowe's. Today I stopped by to pick up some home projects supplies and the same thing, every employee that I talked to for help, looked like I had asked for their first born Son. I'm very tired of the poor attitude at this store.

My refrigerator went out, and I was desperately hunting for one I could get right away. I went to one local appliance dealer who matched Lowe's in price, but it was more expensive on delivery. I ultimately purchased from Lowe's. Kim in appliances was amazing and made sure I could get delivery the next day. The delivery truck showed up, but the refrigerator was dented. Now I can't get another one today, my food is in coolers, and I'm waiting up to 24 hours for a call back to see if and when they can get another one like I purchased. Cannot even get a manager on the phone! Had I known this, I would have gone elsewhere. Next time I will!!!!

PSA If purchasing Any Appliances from Lowes might want to check out their NEW 48 HOUR RETURN POLICY… But this was Our Experience…Just purchased washing machine on clearance and was returning to pick it up. Now claiming they can’t sellIt because was in wrong location yet clearly marked clearance. Then they claimed out of stock? Then they claimed that had to hold display for two weeks before could sell? Had mr Mike p pretending to be manager? Come to find out he was really the outdoor furniture guy. Contacted corporate while in store. They were very helpful. They even questioned the “policies” and reasons he was presenting. Have whole transaction on video and plan to send to corporate office on Monday morning. Terrible service and plenty of run around at this location.

2 weeks in a row now that our refrigerator has not been delivered. 1 week now for riding mower. We have even gone by to the location physically to have directions uploaded to our house. Said they called before hand, we never received a phone call from delivery. If you purchase anything from here make sure they have it on site and you can pick it up. This is the only Lowe's location where we have had any issues. Will not use again.

Worst Lowes in the area. I ordered a riding mower and when I got it home it had been assembled improperly. Took about 45 minutes on the phone with someone who claimed to be a manager to explain the situation of how it needs to be picked up and a new one delivered. This was on Friday and this was supposed to happen on the following Thursday. They scheduled the pickup for Monday and that happened but come Thursday no mower. I called Lowe’s customer service at the store only to be placed on hold for 30 minutes. I decided to drive the 25 minutes to Lowe’s and talk to their customer service department because getting ahold of them on the phone is near impossible. When I told the rep (I believe the woman managing that area of the store that day) “y’all are hard to get ahold of” she admitted to leaving customers on hold because they were “too busy to take calls”. Turns out no one had scheduled my delivery and at the end of all of this I had gone 3 weeks without a mower I paid too much money for to be waiting around at the mercy of nincompoops for because the assembly team couldn’t put the blades on correctly . Bottom line is that this store is ran by a bunch of subpar children who don’t know what management means. Their “managers” are just shift leaders with managerial problems being dumped on their heads while plain clothed managers walk around and don’t do anything. No one at this store does anything minus the workers you see in the aisles

I went to trade a Fathers Day gift, a drill, for a more expensive drill set. I told the cashier it was a gift and pointed to the one I wanted to trade for as it was near the checkout. She proceeded to scan my gift and gave me a receipt to sign. I asked why. She said that it had been put back on my son's card. I told her that I simply had wanted to trade and pay the difference. Oh no, we don't do that here the supervisor said. The co-manager became aggressive when I pointed out that Lowes had erred, not me, but that I was paying the price for their mistake. I left with nothing. Complaint number is useless.
