The staff from the front desk to the vet techs and doctors were extremely friendly and made me feel like I had been coming there for years. They all were knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns. My dog is my loyal companion and we have traveled the country extensively the staff at long leaf made us as comfortable as our long time vet back home so it was a pleasure being a patient both for me and my best buddy Blue

Took my Yorkie to Longleaf, which is his primary doctors, because he was not acting like he had any energy. Found out he was critical with diabetes and pancreatitis. Not knowing if he would make it was like a brick on my heart. Dr. Barney was very sympathetic. Not only the doctors are great so is all the staff from the minute you walk in the door. I highly advise Longleaf if you're looking for a medical place for your fur babies.My Yorkie made it and is still working on getting the correct dose of insulin for him.

Receptionist , Pat was great since our dog was nervous. She put us in an exam room which helped ease her. Tech was helpful and answered questions and worked to keep dog calm. Dr. Barney is great. Best experience! Very happy 😊.

Even though they were fully booked, the staff gladly saw my little dog (who was a new patient) for an eye injury without hesitation. Dr. Erin and the entire staff were super friendly and welcoming. On Monday we took our two felines, 6 year old male Tony and 4 year old female Smokey, to Longleaf for their annual physicals. From the time we arrived until the time we left we were treated with professionalism and courtesy by all members of the staff. They took the time to explain to us all the work they had performed on each cat and fortunately gave both cats a clean bill of health. I have been a client for almost 6 years now since I relocated here from San Diego. I just cannot say enough good about Dr Barney and the staff. I came here with a senior kitty and she got the best of care even during COVID when she came weekly for ongoing care. When it was time to say goodbye I was treated with utmost kindness, support and love in the decisions that needed to be made. This vet and her staff gave me 5 more years with my beloved TRINA 🐈‍⬛🐾. Now they will do the same with my PUNKIN 🐈🐾 I have no doubt. If you really want great medical care for your pet and to not just be another number ....this is the place for you. They take the time to get to know you and your pet, address your concerns as a fur mom and treat your pet like one of their own. I found a kitten on the highway and it desperately needed vet care. My primary vet couldn’t get me an appointment until October. I have heard wonderful things about Longleaf, so I gave them a call. They were so wonderful. They were able to get me an appointment rather quickly. Didn’t try to send me to some other clinic, but instead did what they could to squeeze my kitty in need in. I was not waiting in the waiting area an unreasonable amount of time, like at other vet clinics. The staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable. The kitten was a little displeased, but I would definitely recommend and will be back!

Dr. Barney took care of my very elderly cat until the very end and is now treating my rescue kitten. Dr. Barney is a brilliant veterinarian, and just as important, she and her staff are very caring, compassionate and kind. I highly recommend her. Your pets will love her, too!

Thanks to Longleaf and Dr Bud for seeing our dog Stacy on an emergency basis last Friday. We are from VA and are here for a short time. Stacy has now been diagnosed with a tumor on her liver. She was treated for the afternoon with iv medications and is home and on a treatment regimen that helps her feel better and will give us more time with her. We’ve lost other dogs of her breed to this cancer and think the care she received was outstanding, from the thorough physical exam and diagnostic X-rays and blood work to the clear and compassionate explanations to us about what is a very sad prognosis.

I stopped in to get some preventative meds for my dog and got her weighed in quickly and a nail trim. The staff was very professional and knew my dog by name and took care of her very quickly. They were Ben let me know she wasn’t due any visits to see them til her next annual visit and gave me the date when I should bring her in. I really love the whole staff here, always very polite and answer and questions or concerns I may have regarding my dog. Thanks to the entire Staff for caring.

We were greeted by friendly receptionists, then Amber, vet tech, sat in the floor to make our dogs comfortable in the treatment room. She and Dr. Erin Barney were professional, caring, and informative.We had a great 1st experience and look forward to going back. We were there for new patient exams / yearly visits for 2 of our dogs. Both dogs seemed comfortable and, in addition to thorough examinations and blood draws, their nails were clipped and drimmeled beautifully. Highly recommend! What a breath of fresh air! Finally a Veterinary hospital has got it right! The front desk is welcoming and helpful, the Vet techs were knowledgeable and made me feel that they actually cared about my pets (3 dogs), and the veterinarians were personable and informative while they took the time to give me a comprehensive and understandable plan for my pups. I’m very happy that I have found a place that I can take my pets for medical care and feel that they have my pets best interest at heart. Thank you Longleaf!!

First of all, I want to thank Emma for being so kind and gentle clipping my Chihuahuas toenails. We were long time customers of Pinehurst Animal Hospital but decided to leave due to so many changes in staff and terrible customer service so we decided to go to Longleaf Animal Hospital and boy am I glad we did. Dr. Budd and everyone else we had contact with were absolutely fantastic. Exceptional care and I never once felt like I was wasting their time and she took the time to answer every question and concern I had. I would recommend this Clinic to anyone and everyone.We are so appreciative of them all!!!The atmosphere was awesome as well!!! Even though they are under construction ❤️❤️

Our German Shepards have been cared for and groomed at this place since they were born. We love the staff and trust them. We also use their kennel when we go out of town. The only negative we have found is that there were recent price hikes and the services are less affordable than before but we continue to use them because our Pups are worth it!

Excellent staff who cares genuinely for the pets. My only recommendation would be for the staff to reply to the emails that they send out about appointments. I requested appointments from the first two of the four emails I received. After about two weeks, I did receive a confirmation. Overall, a great organization.
