This station in Snow Hill has lots of lanes for fuel and plenty of parking space. The parking lot is always clean and well maintained. Access to the store from the road is safe and well lit. There is a wonderful variety of goods inside, including a subway, beer cooler, and a plethora of snacks, drinks, and almost anything you may need in your travels. Handy Mart is a great place to stop for your convenience neccesities.

Today is December 29th 2021. I went in the Handy Mart store #164 located on Highway 58 in Snow Hill, North Carolina on December the 29th and purchased a four pod Juul, Virginia tobacco 5%. This is what I asked for and I was purchasing this for someone else. I presented these pods to the person I was purchasing them for the next morning and was informed they were the wrong pods that this was a menthol and not a full flavor as I had requested. I went back to the store with the receipt in hand along with the unopened box of Juul pods which was apparent by the manufacturer tape that is put on the package. You could see that the manufacturer tape had not been tampered with or broken. The person I spoke with identified themselves as a manager to the store. She indicated that I could not get my money back which I did not want my money back. I just wanted to exchange them for the right pods. I asked her if I could speak to an owner and she refers me to call a number shown on the store door which is a number to investors. When you call this number, you get nothing but a pre-recorded voicemail. She did not try to help me. I've lived in this town for 35 years. I worked at a law firm in town for almost 30 years. It's not like I was some out of town person or someone who would try to kill somebody. The store manager, I'm sure, recognized me from the many years that I have gone to this particular store. I will never go to this store again and will tell anyone that I know not to go to this particular store. These pods cost almost $20 and I currently live on a fixed income which I'm sure you know devastated me!!!

Went there a few weeks back, this older lady with short hair came in fussing about people parking and taking up pumps. If she had a problem then she should have gone up to those people and asked them to move rather than yelling like a child in the store. Her behavior was very childish and very unprofessional. I haven't been back since and probably won't if someone that childish is going to work there. Who knows what other childish rants and yelling she has done that people haven't reported.

My Favorite Convenient Store in Snow Hill. Great Store all Around, Plus it has the added bonus of Subway and Pizza Inn Express.
