Love Food Lion shop and Go coupons, I don't like the fact that with the to-go orders you have to pay 1.99 for them to basically to put in your car. Their website is also very confusing when you type in bacon is over 200 Bacon's and they definitely don't have 200 Bacon's in the store

Pretty good selection like all other Food Lions. Recently they renovated the store, which moved some items to new places so may have to look a little longer to find them, also added 💥SELF CHECKOUT💥 lanes(4 or 5 I think to be exact) so Service is quicker than they used to be most of the time, except during the usual times most grocery stores are busy, but even then they are pretty quick. The Food Lion 2 Go is an excellent service to use if your in a rush or just don't have the time.

I usually go to this food lion every week for my groceries and it’s a great store with wonderful staff. However this morning I went to the food lion in snow hill (10/27/22) as my mom and me were walking by the meat section there was a Hispanic man asking an employee for directions to where the ham was. As my mom and me walked past them the Hispanic man asked us for help and we noticed the employee was being rude and disrespectful. After we told the Hispanic man where the ham was the employee started shouting curse words in both English and Spanish at the man, I then turned around and asked him what he had called the Hispanic man to make sure I wasn’t hearing wrong and it wasn’t a misunderstanding. He then proceeded to fuss my mom and me out while cursing. The manager heard him screaming at us and came, I explained to her what had happened and how both racist and disrespectful the employee was being towards my mom, the Hispanic man and me. She told the racist employee to follow her to the back but he kept on screaming and cursing and didn’t listen to her. This was a horrible experience! No customer should be treated this way, especially due to their race or speaking barrier. I hope to not see him there again after showing how disrespectful he is.

I found everything that I was looking for. Clear, clean aisles made shopping easy. I didn't have to wait long to get checked out. I was helped at the register with taking my groceries out of the cart to get checked out. Great customer service!

Always friendly and helpful employees. Store is always clean. The deli department is awesome. Meat and cheese is fresh, delicious and always sliced precisely to order. You can't beat their sales and Shop & Earn promotions. Love this store!

I'm not sure I can blame it on this Food Lion, but I have never been in any store during the entire time Covid has been around that has such a low percentage of folks wearing masks and social distancing. I usually only shop here for staples anyway (because I don't find their prices to be the most economical), so that allows me to shop quickly. I also have a hard time finding variety in specialty items that I use, gluten free, dairy free, nut free, soy free. The gentleman who is usually in Produce here is very nice. He always greets everyone that shops in Produce.

Recycle bins are not being emptied on a regular basis. Makes the store look trashy.Also, on a Friday morning, the manager refused to cash a winning lottery ticket of $100. He stated they didn't have enough cash on hand! If a Food Lion store doesn't have $100 cash on hand, how are they even doing business?

This is best Food Lion around! People complaining about the lack of customer's not wearing a mask should mind their business! There is a very GOOD reason WHY some of us don't /can't wear them. Glad to have a store that still abides by the mandate AND it's exemptions!

They recently changed the layout of the grocery store. Can't find anything fast like you used to. I don't much care for the way they changed not only the layout, but they added multiple self checkouts. I don't know how everyone else feels about those self checkouts, but I absolutely despise them. Food Lion must be reminded that it is a privilege to have customers shop at their grocery stores, and i for one will not shop at a store and spend my money only to have to check my own self out at one of the self checkouts. Food Lion is going the way of Wal-Mart. I won't shop at Wal-Mart anymore because of self checkouts, and pretty soon, it looks like I won't shop at Food Lion either.

Usually some good specials, the customer service is either very good or just out right horrible. Don't bother calling customer service, everyone has excuses from the customer service rep to the regional managers. Don't expect anyone to call you back either, they call once and they let it ring once and hang up. The prices are not worth dealing with the employees. There are more choices in Snowhill and if they don't have what I need I would rather drive to another town then use the Food Lion in Snowhill they have lost my business and my families business as well. Sad really that they can't keep quality service and customer care at an acceptable level.

Hard to locate items if you are not a frequent shopper here. Spent 10 minutes looking for a jar of peanutbutter as groceries stopped mid store , followed by pet food, then groceries resumed. People were pleasant though.

I was refused purchasing my alcohol beverage because I was with a friend. We’re two adults who were treated like teenagers by a woman of our age (over 25). publicly embarrassed because my colleague left her wallet home, I had mine. Came out for quick grocery’s for my birthday tonight, to only have a disagreement with a cashier who pretty much belittled me. I had my ID & my friend was pretty much called a child. We made our purchase successful elsewhere (next door) with my ID for nearly half the price. Well thanks for the compliment.

First time at this Food Lion. The store was well stocked. The most impressive thing was their employees. They were all very friendly and helpful. Everyone seemed to enjoy their jobs.

Great store, clean,well stocked, layed out well,but a little pricey. I went there looking for potatoes and onions but the convenience store Dollar General down the street had better prices on them. Just be a smart shopper.

Food Lion used to be my favorite food store. I still shop there at times and it is a good store. I still shop there for side items but not meats. Had a few bad experiences. This in spite of that is a good store. It's clean and inviting.

They don't like when people go with WIC checks they get even more rude on you just drive down road and go to Walmart or just drive ten mins to kinston and go to the new piggly wiggly if you want to get better service...
