One of the best Dollar Generals to go to. Ten times cleaner than most other dollar generals and one of the busiest I’ve seen. So many cute things to find for house decor. My mom and I love coming here to shop for fun little things and for groceries when we need something quick! I’m surprised to see how late they stay open. (It’s a little dangerous and I worry for the employees. Also I’m big on supporting businesses that give their employees holidays off and they are only closed on CHRISTMAS. One day out of the year? Way to show your appreciation to your store managers and employees.) The two complaints in parentheses are directed at DG corporate and not the store and staff itself.

I live in kinston and I drive to snow hill just to go to this dollar general. The customer service is EXCELLENT. The store is always clean and stocked. They even have bananas and produce at this store which is unusual for dollar generals in my area. This is a huge store and they definitely utilize the space because they have so much variety. This is why I drive twenty minutes to go here instead of 5 minutes to go up the street to the other dollar generals near me.

Always clean, aisles are uncluttered and organized unlike most other Dollar General stores. Employees always friendly and helpful. Best Dollar General store I've ever shopped.

Cashier's and manager don't have any customer service skills. They don't speak but they are quick to speak to everyone except blacks. I go here often and it's the same thing every time.... They need to be trained........

Only 2 cashier's working. One only took cash the other cash & debit. The guy taking cash was dealing with a old woman that had several cans cat food and was giving a hard time in the 27 minutes I saw them. It wasn't till I got up to register 2 that a 3rd guy went to register 1 and only took cash after all this standing in line for 34 minutes. They need to do a better job of ringing customers up cus there were 18 ppl behind me when I got up. A customer fed up with dollar general.

this is the biggest dollar general ive seen and it amazes me they have so much i like wide varieties and just down the road. the employees are ALWAYS HELPFUL! and the ladies at the register 9xs10 have a smile on their faces and its lovely!

Store set up to handle shopping during COVID 19. Had trouble looking for particular product. Was helped by very nice young lady named Ragan. She stopped what she was doing and took me right to the item. Then asked if she could help in any other way. This is the caliber employee that makes Dollar General the store it should be. Will definitely be back to shop in future.

This is the old Walmart Express building. Therefore this is one of the largest Dollar Generals that I've ever seen. I have everything in there. Now if they could just make the men's bathroom door lock properly LOL will be set
