Me and and my boyfriend were in town for vacation and wanted to stop by a local pet store. When we went in the lady working was on the phone and did not greet us. ( we were the only ones in there ) We continued to shop and were eyeing a football toy for our dog. I went to grab it off of the rotating shelf and the peg that the toy was on fell off. As i was trying to put the peg back up on the display the worker comes over to me and snatches the peg from me and says “i got it” (while still on the phone). Me and my boyfriend just leave the store because we did not feel welcome. She was very rude about an accident and did not have to get in my personal space without a greeting.

I like this hometown store. The owner and employees are knowledgeable and care that you get what your pet needs. The prices are comparable to any of the franchises, and I can buy my parrots food near home.I highly recommend PetMart.

It's a well stocked store for the locals as well as the tourists with the pets that they bring with them, and a big advantage is it's only a couple of miles from North Topsail Beach.

Our Cocker Spaniel, Tucker, is now almost 8, and Sherry and Shannon, the owners at our Sneads Ferry Pet Mart have been absolutely amazing with their guidance and support. We're truly blessed to have these two sisters who have a genuine love for animals. They're well-versed in their quality products as well as what's best for whatever your beloved pet is experiencing. I've abandoned Farmer's Dog for Dr. Marty's now after speaking with Sherry earlier this week. Other than our vet, Doc Martin, I go to Sherry and Shannon.You have to look a little closer now because of the massive storage building that blocks their signage but it is well worth finding these special, community-oriented, and animal health, foster, and adoption advocates with OC-PAW.Let's support our small businesses that have stayed in our community through thick and thin.

They have everything you for your pets. They have several different sizes of aquariums. Dog and cat food and toys. Very nice customer service.

AMAZING!! I happened to be pet sitting and as the owners walked out the door they informed me of their pups possible “hotspot”. The next morning I went to pet mart and shared the issue. The lady was AMAZINGLY helpful and kind in instructing what product would be best. I’m not a local but would go here for all my pet needs if i lived here!!

Don’t let the small size of the store, so surprised you it has a little bit of everything you could possibly need for a pet, including most name, brand items that you would ever need. Fantastic selection of dog, cat and small animal food and supplies. Super good prices and knowledgeable people!

Was sold a free sample. Price sticker was deceptively placed over “free sample” label. Product was marked ***not for individual resale. I was also given free dog food samples 3 months out of date. I appreciate the gesture of letting me try the different dog foods, but I had no idea they were out of date by 3 months

This is a great place to go for all-things animals! The owners and staff at Pet Mart are very friendly and always helpful at every visit. We have found so many items for our four-legged family members here! They have name-brand food items, Kong toys, quality kennel mats which we can't find any place else. They have so many items for so many different animals, I highly recommend Pet Mart for all your pet needs!

You will find all your pets needs here, including awesome customer service. The owner Shannon is incredible and knowledgeable. Helped me find good treats to calm my rescue and was so so kind. I love this store and the wonderful women who work there. However, they don’t accept Americans Express which is a deal breaker for me. I understand the fees are higher, but a higher fee off a sale is still more than $0 if your customers choose to shop somewhere else.

Nice to have in Sneeds Ferry while we are at the condo. Very nice and friendly staff. A good selection of items. Usually in there to pick some more balls for the pups because they have a habit of losing to the ocean.

Great store that has a surprisingly large selection for the size. They carry a lot of quality food brands that aren't available in the box/chain stores. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and they clearly love animals. The store is extremely clean, which is extra impressive given that it's animal friendly. All in all, a wonderful asset to the community.

I bought a comfy cone for my dog she just got out of surgery and I got the wrong size I went to return it this morning and get the right size and the one women at the register acted like I committed a crime by trying to return it she wasn't very nice at at all then when I asked for help deciding on the right one for my dog they said it doesn't matter the dog doesn't know the difference so they weren't very helpful or friendly I even bought one that was more expensive and not a thank you or nothing also they made sure to tell me no refunds on this item like I used it up in one night my dog didn't even use it. I could understand if I brought it back a week later then I would understand them not wanting to exchange it but you still don't need to have a nasty attitude. I will never shop here again no matter how close it is to my house. No wonder people order off line if I had time I would have rather done that or drove to Wilmington or Jacksonville. In closing all I wanted to do was exchange something and be on my way without the nasty attitude. I figured a local place would be good to go to but they don't seem like they are local at all. Wish I could rate my experience at 0 or lower. I have never left a post like this on any store that's how bad my experience was. Didn't feel very welcome at all. I went in on 10/04/18 at a little after 10 they open at 9 . Hope this helps them realize they don't need to act like that.

My son has patronized Pet Mart many times before I actually had the pleasure to meet Shannon at Pet Mart. I went in with questions concerning our 10 month old Cocker Spaniel's diet. Shannon took time away from unloading a huge supply truck to help me with excellent information. She also gave me a sample of food to try since I had been tossed back and forth with trying to find the best food for Tucker. Shannon was so patient even as the truck waited and I will certainly be back. We truly believe in supporting our local stores and Shannon has a clean, great-smelling store. She has a little of everything and will custom order what she doesn't have. Give them a try for personal attention from a woman that loves animals.

We found what we needed! Staff was friendly. They had a wonderful selection of treats for any size pet. Mine is a 60 pound pitador ( pit lab mix) with a gourmet taste. Visit it if you are in Sneeds Ferry NC.

The workers in this store are always very nice and more than willing to help. This store has a great selection of pet products and everything you would need. My dog is probably the #1 fan of the bully sticks they sell here

The owner is very kind and she is even nice enough to order my dog's food every month for me so he never runs out. I don't know what you guys so called been thru but I love this lady and her store , I drive 20 mins to her because the one store near me is always out of my dog's food and have never even mentioned to order it for me every month so he doesn't run out, but this lady did out of the kindness of her heart. Not to forget to mention I was running late and she kept her store opened and waited for me when she could have easily closed and told me come back the next day but she didn't. That same day she had to go to the hospital for something that happened at work and she still waited for me. So I think she is awesome but is constantly in pain, let me see how much you guys will laugh and be perky when ur hurting. Some ppl can't stay home cause they don't feel well, some have no choice but to work in pain or not, but you guys call it an attitude be careful before you judge someone not knowing their story
