This review has nothing to do with the store or PetSmart, but shout-out to the lady who works here with the cool hair that helped me when my autistic daughter was getting upset and took the things in my hand to the front counter after helping divert her attention with a cool looking betta fish that we also ended up buying!!

If I could give Ashley a big 0 I would. I changed from a trim to a cut because his hair was long . I said teddy bear style. He was shaved and looked like a mal nutritioned dog for 83.00 . I was waiting from 945 am to 230 when I had a 10 am appointment. I literally cried the whole way home let alone my 10 year old traumatized. I will never go there again not even for dogfood!! Total disaster!!! My dog is barely 5 months and clearly upset . He went from fluffy to bald . Don't let her touch ur dog !!!!

I have been a customer of the grooming department with my dogs for years now. Just got a new puppy and took him for his first haircut. Made an appointment with a specific person. Dropped him of for his appointment and was told 3-4 hours. Usually 3 hours is the longest we have to wait but about 2 hours is usual. After 4 hours I really had to get home so I went to go check on him. I waited for 15 minutes while they were helping someone else. When the lady came out she talked with me about her dogs, she had to bring them in as a walk in because they didn’t have their shots. When I finally got in they told me that he wasn’t ready yet. Probably another 45 minutes. I told them I couldn’t wait and just took him. My point being that they should not take walk ins if they can’t get their appointments completed first.

it’s pest smart come on now I don’t expect the best work ever but there work is trash.They 1 take forever my dogs appointment was at 3 and I got my dog at 8 pm that’s unbelievable.They have dogs in cages so if they do something to one dog they put them in the cage and then work on another dog and completely forget that there was a literal dog in a cage. 3rd they do horrible work at cutting dogs hair I would a expect a 12 year old to be better at the job .

The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a smaller store but, have the basic needs. They also provide grooming. My 2 year old Goldendoodle has only been groomed here. They do an excellent job and my dog loves the staff!!

Summer did a great job with Maisy. It was her first haircut so I wasn’t sure what to expect but the PetSmart staff went above and beyond and Maisy looks adorable. Will be coming back!!

I took my puppy to get a full experience at pet smart. He got a bath, his teeth brushed, and nails cut. When I picked him up and had him in the car, I realized blood on my shirt. I looked at his nails and saw that they clipped his dewclaw nail in half. If you know anything about dog, it's hard for this nail to get injured on its own. When I went back and told them Alexis said "Yeah I forgot to tell you about that when you picked him up. It was like that when you brought him." I know that his nail was not like this when I brought him because I looked at them the night before.

This is a much smaller PetSmart but literally had everything I needed. They are well stocked and the staff was friendly and helpful. Used their tag machine with no issues and was asked to donate which we were happy to for the pets for the holidays. I'm sure we will be in as we are thinking of a small fish tank for the family.

The employees are friendly and always very helpful. This PetSmart is small and they can't carry everything like the larger PetSmarts. They have impressed me utilizing the space they have. PetSmart is my Go to for my fur babies!

Ashley grooms my dogs and they always look and smell great and she does a perfect cut. I've taken them places in the past where they come back obviously mad at me and barking...but with Ashley they are happy when I pick them up. I finally found a groomer I'll always use! Thank you Ashley!

Concerns Regarding PetSmart's Disposal of Animal Food That Could Be Donated!I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the disposal of animal food at your stores, which could instead be donated to local rescues like the one I work with.As an active member of the rescue world, I have witnessed firsthand the tireless efforts put into caring for animals in need and running a pet food pantry to support pet owners facing financial difficulties. However, due to a lack of donations, our pet food pantry is temporarily closed, making it even more disheartening to learn that PetSmart, a reputed pet store, is discarding perfectly good animal food.It came to my attention that other places such as Walmart and Petsense have been donating food to local rescues, making the situation even more disconcerting. I was disheartened to see picture evidence of the food being destroyed and thrown away, knowing it could have provided nourishment and comfort to countless animals.I kindly request that PetSmart takes immediate action to reconsider its policies on food disposal and instead prioritize the donation of surplus animal food to local rescues and pet food pantries. This simple change can make a significant positive impact on the lives of many animals and their dedicated caretakers.I sincerely hope that PetSmart will recognize the importance of supporting animal rescues and communities in need. Together, we can make a difference and create a more compassionate and caring environment for animals in distress.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a positive response and action from PetSmart.

Didn't buy anything kids wanted to look at the animals. I would say though that the cats for adoption are from Wayne County. The store is in johnston county right down the rd from the johnston county animal shelter. I would recommend supporting the county you are from. Plus when we adopted our cat they waved the adoption fee of 100$ because of my veterans status.

Waited an hour just to get crickets. Had one person working the front register and the fish (cricket) area, while the other person took their break. The other employee (assuming it was the manager) went on break while there were more than five customers in the store, and left the other employee alone.

I've never once gone in here and not been treated poorly. The staff needs some race sensitivity training cause I've only seen the staff service non black customers. At least in my experience I've only been treated kind by a singular staff member the rest have treated me second class

Usually out of stock on bearded dragon bulbs and vitamins, the last two times I visited. Live feeders are ok. Cashier very pleasant. A lil expensive compared to other places Ive shopped. Overall, just ok.
