our local supermarket. Very happy to see their expansion of organic products. I think very important to consume non GMO and organic. Food Lion also now has some local products which helps our local economy and better for us. Great shopping trip before Thanksgiving. plenty of fruits, veg, meats and stocked shelves for everything we needed. Also pleased masks are not mandatory there. The videlia onions are great.A lot more organic, nature's promise products. Plus happy to see angry orchard cider as well. Good selection of produce. Turkey just came in for Thanksgiving! Shopped on a quiet evening before my birthday. New store layout in 2024. Upgraded to salad storage displays, more produce. Hopefully we'll continue to see more and more organic.

I have used this Food Lion for years. I never have had an issue here. Everyone is nice and helpful. However, I do have to give zero stars for this. There is this cashier that is always eating or drinking something while working at the register. I don't know, to me this is unprofessional and I am sure the health dept would call unsanitary because you are touching customers food while eating your own. And there are those I am sure are managers that see her do it.

I love the store generally, but when you bring your own bags, it's not okay for the cashier or manager to sit there and stare at the bags and refuse to help bag them.

I am editing my written review to add some more positive notes. First off, the Siler city store has done lots of interior changes. And it looks good! 😁It's brighter, more open-like, & easier to find what you need. Everything is in order and kept clean as well 😊

I would give this store no stars due to the lack of better employees but the mexican girl (Morgan? Megan?) in the deli is the only reason I continue to give this place business. A few weeks ago she helped my momma shop for her groceries when she couldn’t find the items on her list & she hasn’t stopped talking about it since. She’s always super helpful when we come in there and has a welcoming personality.

This Should be 5 stars, a few years ago it would have been (great prices, wonderful cashiers, good layout and selection, etc.) But this store has a ton of employee shoppers for pickup orders, some of which can ruin an otherwise enjoyable experience. You know, the ones that about run you over, try to push you out of the way, or stand and stare with a hateful look, waiting to pounce on your spot. I can somewhat tolerate such behavior in small doses, but today I had one bump into me while walking and looking at her phone, then say EXCUSE ME, and basically push me out of the way. I won't tolerate such bullying tactics from rude people, and yes I realize it's just a few bad apples but I don't have this issue at all at other food lions (which I've now started going to more). This could be a 5 star store again with a little training or better hires.

My favorite place to shop for groceries. Everyone is so friendly and it's generally well stocked. When I am unable to do my shopping myself, they almost always do a wonderful job for me. (There is one employee that doesn't do a very good job and puts in very little effort BUT I am not going to let that take down my rating bc other than that they are exceptional). They are always fast, friendly and hard working here.

The cashiers in this grocery store are the rudest, nastiest cashiers I have ever encountered. I’ll be headed to Pittsboro to shop soon. I’d rather drive an extra hour then deal with these miserable women.

A lot of people would go to Wal-Mart for saving & yeah they have some saving but when I need La Choy Soy Sauce, Food Lion has it. And for some reason I really like Food Lion's brand of frozen corn on the cob (Wal-Marts brand doesn't taste good). The store is always clean (even when they're stocking shelves). Even the parking areas are clean. Managers are always greeting customers. The employees are helpful and greets you with a smile. Even though the produce can be a little (not much) pricey, they present it to customers as a show piece (someone took the time to show they cared). I appreciate this location a lot. Thank You Food Lion 😘. I'll take more photos for next time.

When CVS quit accepting UHC insurance I decided to try Food Lion Pharmacy. They were so much cheaper I should have been going there to begin with. The Pharmacist is wonderful. She goes out of her way to find you the best price.

Everything you need with great discounts everyday!!However, the prices are going up, even on your basic items. I am also going to add that some employees working there have shown some ill attitudes while I was in line. I was told to go to different line where I had to wait again on someone in front me, even though I was already placing my items down. For that same cashier to accept another customer who was in the back of me. I didn't appreciate that and that same cashier still gives me attitude when I come to shop. I am also an Instacart Shopper and unfortunately most of my orders are for this particular location. I just do my due diligence and go to a different cashier, even if their lane is open.Furthermore, there are cashiers who do go above and beyond. This young man helped to pay for my groceries when my card declined paying the rest. Long story short, he paid for me and about two weeks later yesterday, I went to pay him back and he declined the payment. Even chasing me down in the parking lot to place it in one of my bags. It was heartwarming and he stated, "It's all love". He needs a raise! Thank you again kind gentleman.Happy Shopping!

Somewhat pricey. Organized store layout. Great Deals like 2 for or buy 1 get 1. Fresh produce. Lots of snacks, drinks, frozen food, Holiday items, cards. Easy to spot in traffic. Wheelchair accessible. Parking lot structure.  Free parking.

What an unnecessarily bad experience. The pharmacy doesn’t comply with the prices posted on Good Rx. I called my doctors office, had them call all my current medications into this pharmacy based on the quoted prices online, drove 20 miles to pick them up, and they were four times the advertised price. The unpleasant lady working in the pharmacy was willing to do one adjustment, but “not for something that’s less than a $3 difference,” when all the prices were a $5 difference or more. Horrible customer service. Lady— what is it to you? You aren’t the one profiting off the price of prescription drugs so I guess you just didn’t want to do your job today?

Update: I stopped by on the way back into town to grab one item and entered at 9:57. I was turned away after entering, claiming they were now closed, but when I got back to my car, my phone clock said 9:58 PM. I arrived within the stated business hours. Unlike a restaurant, my presence wasn't going to cause them to close down any noticeably later. These people have seen me come in near 10 PM regularly and get in and out very quickly, which only makes it more annoying. If closing time is 9:57 PM, you need to fix your posted hours. If your clocks are incorrect, you need to look at a clock that syncs online like every computer built in the last 20 years and every cell phone that exists today both can do. One star it is!Food Lion is a staple of the Carolinas, and this store is no exception. Despite competition from at least three other supermarkets in the same town, this Food Lion provides the most pleasant local shopping experience. Most of the staff are friendly and the checkout lines are rarely ever backed up excluding peak times where it's unavoidable. The store is kept quite clean and the remodel a couple of years ago brought the overall appearance up to a more contemporary standard. Parking is excellent and the lot and grounds are well-maintained, in contrast to several other plazas nearby.

It was out of a lot of things I was looking for. Also, it didn't use my spend rewards, the employees couldn't help. Then later I realized they were gone from the app. Which was sad. Anyways don't think I will stop in here anytime soon.

I have shopped a many different Food Lion stores. I normally do not respond to these posts but I feel that I need to this time. The employees of this store are so very polite and kind. They work hard to make the customer experience the best it can be. If you have a chance to stop in I hope your experience is as great as mine.

Very friendly staff. They do their best to assist all customers and they address concerns quickly and in the best interest of the customer. Meat quality is excellent and the Food Lion brand products are excellent! Very few items do I prefer name brand to over the Food Lion brand.

I have shopped at a lot of Food Lion stores especially in the Greensboro area. I have never been in a more uniformed organize and clean store out of all the stores I shop in. The customer service is excellent especially Vincent . He helped me navigate my way around the store and was very professional in responses to my questions . I will be shopping in this store again i had a very satisfying experience
