I love coming here for coffee! They use fresh beans and their coffee really packs a punch! Don't support Starbucks! Come here instead, it's the best shop in town!The atmosphere is very uplifting and the energy of this place is grounding. Their book selection is vast, and includes a variety of spiritual selections.Their gemstone and crystal selections are of stellar quality. My girlfriend crochets cute objects and sells them here too, so check it out!

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for a while now but this place is absolutely amazing. Wonderful staff and a very inviting atmosphere. Me and my daughter absolutely loves this place. They have so many selections to choose from as well as a private area for you to spend time reading with your children. They also have the most beautiful crystals and natural healing properties as well as tarot cards and all natural herbs . I am blown alway at how at home and welcome I feel when me and my kids come in for a little reading fun and I always leave with the most beautiful stones . I absolutely adore this place and the owner . It has become our new favorite hangout spot and I highly recommend for anyone. There’s definitely something for you at this magical hidden gem . The owner is the sweetest and really cares about your needs and you experience . You definitely can’t get the feeling we get from here anywhere else 💕🧚‍♂️

Great little book store! So many books at such cheap prices! The coffees have Harry Potter themed names and the entire atmosphere is just so calming and cozy. I'm very lucky this is our local bookstore!!*Update*I'm updating because I get extra points, the store is still a cozy little bookstore. I love going here and come every other weekend!Although in the back they have a section of books on witchcraft. That's a little odd, but I just don't go in that little section!<3

Tons of second hand books, great prices, I love the coffee, and a good place to find the books you need. The staff is helpful, and patient with all your needs when finding books. I was able to find the book that I wanted, and got it for only six dollars.

Love this bookstore and the great coffee, they have over 50,000 books!! They also carry graphic novels, comics, cbd & delta 8!! I was shocked to see they have a huge crystal selection as well! The staff are very helpful. It’s a great place to hangout as it is very comfy and cozy, they have multiple different seating areas!

This place is amazing the people behind the counter are friendly and welcoming...one of the few places that welcomes diversity in shelby. Stop by and checkout the used books, records, art from local artist also the amazing herbal selection from Kratom to THCA products. Last but not least variety of teas, smoothies, ice and hot coffee. You will not be disappointed support local not Starbucks...lol

This is the place to go for all your reading needs! Got Books has a wonderful selection with various topics, ranging from children’s to religious books. The employees are very friendly and eager to help. One of the workers helped me select CBD dog treats and allowed a trade on a book I previously bought, but didn’t like. Wonderful store, atmosphere, and people!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I totally would!! I got a 6 book book series for a few bucks less than $40 and I even got a great recommendation to add to my TBR list! This was my first time going and I am going to go back next week!! I so can't wait to go back! All 6 of my books are in SPLENDID condition and the staff are super friendly, I absolutely LOVE this place!!Edit: I went back and for anyone curious about pricing, I promise you will not overpay like you do at Barnes and Noble or Books A Million. I absolutely love to stop in, get an iced latte, and browse the shelves for my next great find. They have an impressive selection of books on all kinds of subjects that you can’t find anywhere else in town - with great prices. They also have a large collection of crystals that make for great gifts. Everyone I’ve encountered here has been so helpful and kind. The atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing. I definitely recommend checking it out!

Wow, very nice selection of books! The outside put me off a little, but the inside is terrific.Great prices, great selection, and nice employees. (Also surprisingly large manga selection for a used book store and they're like $6 each!)

I can not get enough of this place! Just general good vibes all around. The staff is so knowledgeable and genuinely care about the customer experience. TONS OF BOOKS!! But if they don’t have what you’re looking for they’ll try to find something comparable or they’ll order it for you! While their thing is books, they have a plethora of other items like locally made soaps and teas, jewelry, crystals, kratom, and cbd. Not to mention they frequently host FREE events for the community. I could go on and on and would give it 1 billion stars if I could!!

Awesome coffee shop, book, and local artist environment! Found an amazing local artist book and for a really low and affordable price. My friend found a great birthday gift and the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely return for coffee and to buy local jewelry made by local folks! Highly recommend!!

We are very pleased to have found this store years ago at the old location and now it’s still here in Shelby providing us with some wonderful items. Book selection is eclectic and priced reasonably. The other items keep my interest also.

This will forever be my favorite bookstore. I adore everything about the store. The print that you have of Christina's World is beautiful. I absolutely adore your selection of gems and stones and jewelry and sage. I love the comic section. And anytime that I've asked for a book, if you didn't have it you've offered to get it for me.. and it will always be my favorite place to have date day.

Love shopping here for books. A very wide selection and very good prices. I have been here several times to buy books. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They also sell dvd and bluray movies. They also sell coffee and other things. They have a section where you can sit drink coffee and read if you want. A very cozy atmosphere. I recommend this place to anyone who loves to read and looking for a place to get great prices on books. I would go here more often if I could

This is one of the hidden treasures in Shelby. And their coffee is AMAZING. They had a huge selection of masks that are handmade.. got my husband AC/DC & I got a Vuitton mask. I also could have spent the whole day in there. They had a shelf of books that were BANNED for print. I ended up with Catcher in the Rye and you would have thought I had struck gold... Enjoyed my time there. Nice way to while away the afternoon.

I LOVE this place. The book selections are GREAT and the prices are AWESOME. Staff has always been super friendly. They just have everything and it is so good. I’ve been searching for a bookstore in this area for a while, and I finally found this one which makes my heart warm. Definitely recommend.

I was so pleased to find this bookstore, in Shelby of all places. They have a diverse selection of books that is always changing. The store is clean, everything is clearly labeled and easy to find. Their prices are also great. Their staff is friendly and attentive. I'm especially thrilled with their collection of middle grade books.

They had all of the Harry Potter books and right now my oldest daughter is very into the Harry Potter series so she and I are reading them all together. She was so happy to see that they had all of the books in such good condition. Great book store and great selection. The slushies they sale in the store are really good too. I had a peach one. :)

This was a great find passing through! I got an iced americano with sugar free caramel and chocolate. It was really good!They also have tons of books for great prices, and lots of other things to purchase.
