Store is disgusting and unorganized. In February there was still a Christmas box on the floor unopen with all the others stacked throughout the store. Watched employee walk inside with cigarette in mouth then throw it out the door with the others that are piled in front of the door when there is a container for them.

Cashier was very rude and racist, shouting to my 2 year old daughter, she said I don’t care when asked about her erratic behavior with a child. I do not recommend this Business to any one.

Not a great experience. This one the better Dollar store out of the several we have in town.The shelves were bare, in just about every aisle.Nor can you ever find any help. Seems as though there is always only one workingNonetheless, I get in line to see a heavy set female on the floor. She was half sitting, half laying. Her t-shirt up over her belly. She was putting water in the soda machine, using one hand only.I wondered to myself, Does she work here? No, she must not. But why is she filling the fridge?".One water, pause. One water, pause.She's got to work here. I start thinking again. Is something wrong with her? Does she not feel well? Is she having a bad day? Is she about to have a breakdown right here?".....one water, pause.She sees me and smiles.The line is now into the aisles. One water, pause.She's just watching the line fill up and still taking several long seconds to put one water into the cooler.All of a sudden I hear, "can I take the next person in line!"Omg. It was the female. She does work here. She finished unloading her case of water, as I can see by the plastic she left on the floor.It is really terrible to see how awful some of these franchise stores have become. They seem to have rotating doors. Unable to keep anyone. It makes me question why.Who is doing the hiring? Do they choose to employ incompetent workers or are the giving those that have zero skills a chance?No matter the answers to these, it boils down to the right store manager. A manager that needs to be on the floor helping these individuals. Or they will leave or.. be fired.

What can I say, the Cashiers are very unhappy. The prices have been raised, and that is awful, for anyone on a budget. The Shelves are bare. Seems like they need a Stocker. Hope this location has a turn around, before they end up closed down.

Edit: so people have quit and it shows. This store has gone south in a short time. Nothing stocked, store is dirty, and what is on the shelf is a mess!This location has come a long way recently. It used to be a mess but now you see employees diligently working to keep the shelves well stocked and the store clean. They do soc while being friendly and helpful.

This used to be my favorite Dollar Tree in Shelby, but since March this place has severely gone down hill. It is a mess every time you walk in, the shelves are empty, there are boxes and merchandise laying on the floor. They never have anything and they've been out of stock on some regular items for months! There is no care being given to this store at all. Definitely not worth my time anymore.

This older white lady with gray hair, glasses, was so rude.. love dollar tree stores, but usually I shop at the Boiling Springs store, stopped at this one because I was in the area.. Another staff member was very kind, came and talked to me , she was stocking shelves. There is not one reason a staff member should be rude, even if shes had a bad day, we all do, but a simple thank you would of been easy enough. We thanked her over and over, but.... oh well, God bless her!!

Very dirty, no toilet paper hand soap, had to use paper towels to wipe with if toilet over flows it is staff fault. If no hand soap what is staff washing hands with. Great variety of stuff. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I Love the dollar tree but they seriously need to get some better items like you know in florida and Georgia dollar trees and the one in Canada seriously have some amazing items my dollar tree never gets anything they get it takes them forever too and I seriously get very disappointed when I go and they never have what I am looking for.

This store needs some new employee's, a new cashier made me so mad today I could have spit fire, the store was packed, 2 registers were open but as soon as I got to the register the cashier told me "Sorry I'm going on break" and I had to go to the other cashier that was severely backed up and cost me an additional 15 minutes of wait time then she walks back threw the store saying "Where did all these people come from?" That was so unprofessional of her and a very bad look for this location and brand, also there is an old woman with short grey hair that often works here and she just looks like she's mad at the world and very unfriendly all the time, nobody wants to deal with employee's like this, if the prices weren't so low I would just avoid this store all together and shop elsewhere.

I bought a face mask from dollar tree and the next day my face was burning eyes were red aND it was itching I was in so much pain so if you go to OK dollar tree do not buy a face mask
