This location is small and clustered inside. Store is located in a relative poor side of town in shelby . people are nice ! And the store could use an update .Looking for cheap cookware you'll find it here along with everything else . wonderful for the start up single or couple. They offer all kind of bedding and bathroom accessories that are also for start up .

This is the dirtiest, most disorganized Dollar General I've ever seen. On a Wednesday morning, fully half of the aisles were blocked with restocking carts and the floor looked like something had been spilled, not immediately cleaned up then walked through. This particular store is in no way indicative of other DG stores I've been to.

Dollar General was suggested when we needed to get grad cards quickly. We had to go to 2 stores ( they had sold out at the 1st one) and each time we were welcomed well and helped. They got alot of stuff from household items to candy so u can truly find what u need quickly.

Well Dollar general my experience up I wasn't too bad they was out there to help me find what I needed when I was looking for something the woman knows nice enough to show me around and and packaging everything that I needed time I was wanting about five items and she went pretty much bought me to him and showed me with that and everything but that is very nice and respectful but my experience there I've been going to definitely go back it's nice people and they do a good job and get cheap cheaper a lot of other places

The Pros: These stores are conveniently located across town, and if you use their app and coupons, you can save on things like laundry and household essentials, breakfast cereal, and personal care items.The Cons: I find it a bit harder to find items since DG reorganized their stores about a year ago, and they are often out of stock on items I'm looking for.Rating: 3 stars

Used to work there I quit never received my first paycheck & this friday will make 3 weeks without pay the store manager there also is very rude she's been telling me that she has reported my hrs to the payroll department but everytime I call them it's vice versa and they say she hasn't called them and reported my hours called her this morning after I contacted payroll once again she says honey yes I called & reported your hrs but you hung up on me but I can call again but whats funny is I for not a second don't believe she reported them at all because how in the hell is everyone else receiving pay checks every friday except for me I recommend nobody to work their so unprofessional now if I was still working there wonder would I have got paid my other two weeks probably NOT!!!!!!!👎👎👎👎

This store is unorganized. Poor customer service that doesnt know if they carry one product of any brand. Shelves werent stocked. Would get 5 stars if this wasnt a regular issue.

Can find everything here that I cant find at other stores. Everything is organized well and flows, making it a great place to shop. Also, friendly staff.

February 16, 2017 (8:06pm). I was needing to get diapers and wipes for my child and when i pulled up the checkout girl lockes the door and walks away. Wouldn't even let me in the store. Now the sign on the door says that you all close at 9 and I felt like she was very rude.

Bad business in the afternoon the cashier does not hand out a receipt in your bag and then when you try to come back to the store because the cashier didn’t give you a receipt and your bringing a item back the manager says you have to buy stuff that adds up to price of what your returning in order to get your money back on what you was bringing back.
